What you need to know

• Amazon has completely redesigned the Kindle lineup with flush-front, edge-to-edge displays and colors that wrap around the devices.
• The new reverse-stack display removes the raised bezel, creating a cleaner look while helping make Kindles thinner and lighter.
• The rollout has already started; some models are shipping now, the Paperwhite and Colorsoft are entering preorder availability.

Amazon unveiled a completely redesigned Kindle lineup today, and every model has a flush-front, edge-to-edge display with color that wraps from front to back.

The biggest visual change is the new flush-front display. Amazon says it developed a new reverse-stack display construction that removes the raised bezel around the reading surface. The result is a more seamless front while also helping the devices become thinner and lighter. The new models also carry their colors from front to back, with beautiful, colorful options including Ube (after the purple yam from the Philippines, obviously), Alpine Sky, Seaglass Green, Graphite, and Fig.

The $150 six-inch Kindle is now the smallest Kindle Amazon has made. It gets 16GB of storage, up to six weeks of battery life, and opens books 30 percent faster than the previous model. There’s also a $190 aluminum version with 32GB of storage and an 80-percent recycled aluminum body.

The $200 Kindle Paperwhite gets the same design treatment while retaining its waterproof build and promising up to 12 weeks of battery life. Its oxide TFT display is designed to deliver higher contrast, while the $250 Signature Edition adds 32GB of storage and automatic front-light adjustment.

Then there’s the $290 Kindle Colorsoft, which uses nitride LEDs, an oxide backplane, and custom display waveforms to improve brightness, color, and contrast without turning the Kindle into a tablet-like screen. A 32GB Signature Edition costs $320.

One particularly interesting change is the relocated power button. Amazon moved it to the upper-right edge, specifically to make one-handed use feel more natural and reduce accidental presses.

Amazon is also introducing Kindle Click, a Bluetooth remote that lets you turn pages without touching the reader, plus a magnetic cover with physical page-turn buttons. The new Kids models get the redesigned hardware too.

The rollout is already underway, with some models shipping now and Paperwhite and Colorsoft models moving into preorder availability.

What you need to know

• Amazon's new Fire TV Stick 4K promises 35% faster app launches and up to 20% faster content playback.
• The new model supports Wi-Fi 6, 4K 60fps video and ships with Amazon's Vega OS out of the box.
• Amazon has redesigned the Fire TV remote with a new shape and tactile buttons that are easier to find by touch.

Amazon today announced the next generation of its Fire TV Stick 4K.

While there are plenty of great Android TV and Google TV streaming devices out there, Amazon's Fire TV Stick remains one of the most popular streaming options. And today, the company updated its lineup with the new Fire TV Stick 4K (2026). Amazon says the new model brings faster performance, ships with the new Vega OS, and comes with a redesigned Fire TV remote.

The new Fire TV Stick 4K is powered by a quad-core 1.7GHz processor and supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and 8GB of internal storage. For video output, it supports HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, H.265, H.264, VP9, and AV1 at up to 4K 60fps.

Amazon says the new Fire TV Stick 4K should also feel noticeably faster in everyday use. According to the company, apps can now launch over 35% faster, while content starts playing up to 20% faster than before.

The Fire TV Stick 4K also supports Direct Power, which allows you to power the streaming stick directly through your TV's USB port instead of requiring a separate power adapter. It also ships with Amazon's new Vega OS out of the box.

Alongside the new Fire TV Stick 4K, Amazon has debuted a redesigned Fire TV remote. The company says the new design focuses on making the remote easier to hold and navigate without constantly looking down at the buttons.

The remote now has an asymmetrical shape with a flat top and a curved, weighted bottom, making it easier to tell which way you're holding it. The Home button gets a distinct metallic finish, while the other buttons are indented and differently shaped so they're easier to identify by touch alone.

You still get the usual playback and navigation controls alongside quick-access buttons for apps including Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, and Disney Plus.

Amazon has also teased a new Fire TV Remote Plus coming next year. The more premium remote will feature an aluminum housing and backlit buttons, alongside a built-in Find My Remote feature. You'll simply be able to say, "Alexa, find my remote," and the remote will play a sound to help you locate it.

The new Fire TV Stick 4K is priced at $60 and starts shipping today in the U.S., Canada, Japan, Mexico, U.K., Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand, with more countries joining next month.

For a limited time, though, Amazon is offering the new Fire TV Stick 4K for just $30 in the U.S., and you'll get the redesigned Fire TV remote in the box as well.

Amazon's Big Deal Days sale kicks off next week (October 6-7), which means we're about to get a look at some of the season's best Samsung Galaxy deals. From S26 smartphones and wearables to tablets and laptops, it's no secret that Samsung produces some of the best tech on the planet. This October Prime Day presents a great opportunity to get some of these devices for cheap, well before the Black Friday sales kick off in November.

I've been working sale events like this for many long years now, so I have a pretty good idea of what Samsung devices will be going on sale and which you might want to avoid until the holiday season hits.

Needless to say, the best deals during Amazon's sale will be exclusive to Prime members, so be sure to sign up if you haven't already. The retailer is even offering a free 30-day trial so you can explore the ins and outs of Prime membership without paying a cent. Whatever you're looking to buy during Amazon's Big Deal Days sale, this guide has everything you need to know about shopping Samsung tech during the sale. FAQ

What is Prime Big Deal Days?

Just like July's Prime Day and the Big Spring Sale in March, Prime Big Deal Days is yet another sitewide sale event for Prime members only. This October event showcases some of the season's best deals across a wide variety of product categories, from phones and tablets to clothes and kitchen appliances. Amazon's Big Deal Days also signals the start of fall sale season, giving shoppers an early look at what to expect when the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales go live in November.

What Samsung Galaxy devices will go on sale during Big Deal Days?

If you like to buy your Samsung phones and other devices unlocked, October Prime Day is an excellent time to do so. For starters, I'm expecting that we'll see the entire Samsung Galaxy S26 series get heavily discounted as part of the sale. The flagship phones received discounts as high as 30% during the official Prime Day event last July, so you can pretty much guarantee that the price will drop that low (or even lower) once Big Deal Days kicks off on October 6th.

The latest Samsung foldable phones (including the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8) are also sure to receive record-smashing discounts as part of the sale, in addition to the latest Samsung smartwatches, tablets, TVs, and more. I'd also keep a special eye out for discounts on Samsung SSDs, as storage devices remain in high demand due to the ongoing RAM crisis.

Do I need to be a Prime member to shop during Prime Big Deal Days?

Yep, as with all of Amazon's sitewide sale events, the best deals during Prime Big Deal Days will be exclusive to Amazon Prime members. If you're not a member yet, it's worth mentioning that the retailer offers a 30-day free trial so you can explore all of the benefits of Prime without paying a thing.

Don't want to support Amazon? You're in luck: the retailer's biggest competitors (think Best Buy, Walmart, and Target) typically launch rival sales to coincide with October Prime Day, so you might be able to match Amazon's prices without breaking a sweat.

Amazon's Big Deal Days sale returns October 6-7, which means we're just days away from seeing some of the best Google Pixel deals of the year. Whether you're shopping for an AI-boosted Pixel 11 or a stylish Pixel Watch 5, Amazon's October Prime Day sale event is expected to slash prices on nearly all of Google's latest tech, along with a few iconic last-gen devices.

What specifically can you expect when the deals go live? Are there any early offers available? I've been covering sale events just like this one for years, and I can tell you exactly what you need to know about shopping Google Pixel tech during Amazon Big Deal Days.

The biggest thing to consider today is whether or not your Amazon Prime subscription is active. Most of the best Pixel deals during Amazon's sale will be exclusive to Prime members, so make sure you're logged in before you start shopping. Not a member yet? Amazon is running a 30-day free trial that lets you explore all of the benefits of a Prime membership (including access to exclusive deals) without paying a cent.

FAQ

What is Prime Big Deal Days?

Big Deal Days is Amazon's way of bringing the complete Prime Day experience into the fall season. From October 6th through the 7th, the retailer will be slashing prices on everything from clothing and kitchen appliances to Android tech, and all you'll need is a Prime membership. The sale also marks the beginning of fall sale season, giving shoppers an early look at upcoming Black Friday and Cyber Monday offerings.

What Google Pixel deals can I expect during Prime Big Deal Days?

Prime Day events like Big Deal Days typically showcase discounts on a wide range of Google products, from smartphones to wearables. This time around, I'd expect some hefty discounts on the entire Google Pixel 11 lineup. The prices on the flagship phones haven't dipped much since their August launch, so I'm anticipating discounts as high as 20% off or more once the sale begins in earnest.

You can also expect the Pixel Watch 5 to get its first-ever discount, while last-gen Google devices like the Pixel Watch 4 and Google Pixel 10a are almost certain to see some historic price drops as well.

Do I need to be a Prime member to shop during Prime Big Deal Days?

Yep. Just like other Prime Day events, the vast majority of deals during Big Deal Days will be exclusive to Prime members. If you haven't signed up yet, Amazon offers a 30-day free trial that lets you enjoy all of the benefits of Prime (including unlimited streaming, free shipping, and access to exclusive deals) without paying a cent. Once the free trial is up, Prime memberships start at just $14.99 per month with the ability to cancel at any time.

If you simply don't want to add another subscription to your monthly bills, it's also worth mentioning that Amazon's biggest rivals — such as Best Buy, Walmart, and Target — are also expected to launch their own competing sales around the same time. These sale events are sure to match (or even surpass) Amazon's discounts, and they typically don't require a membership.

Amazon's next big sale event is only a week away, but you don't need to wait until Big Deal Days on October 6th to find some stellar deals on Amazon brand devices. Whether you want a new tablet, TV, or smart home device, Amazon's early October Prime Day sale is discounting dozens of great devices across its site, and most of them don't even require a Prime membership.

I'm talking about deals like 53% off the popular Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet, or this offer that drops the newest Amazon Echo Show 5 down to just 60 bucks (a 40% discount). Keep reading for more of my top picks, and don't forget to check back later to see what's new: I'll be adding more Fire deals to this collection as they go live.

Amazon Big Deal Days kicks off on October 6th and runs through the 7th. Like I mentioned above, most of the best deals during the sale will be exclusive to Prime members. If you haven't joined yet, you can easily shop all of the best discounts for free by signing up for Amazon's 30-day free trial.

A large number of shoppers already have Prime memberships, but if you don't want to add yet another monthly subscription to your budget, there is a way to shop all of the best October Prime Day deals for free.

What is Prime Big Deal Days?

Big Deal Days is Amazon's attempt at bringing the excitement of July's Prime Day sale into early October (which is why I often call it 'October Prime Day'). Now that it's been around for a few years, it also signals the beginning of the fall sale season, giving shoppers an opportunity to knock out some of their holiday shopping early.

Just like the Prime Day event held in July, many of the best deals during Big Deal Days will be exclusive to Prime members, so consider using Amazon's free trial if you haven't signed up already.

When is Prime Big Deal Days?

Prime Big Deal Days is scheduled for October 6th and 7th this year, giving Prime members 48 hours to explore a bounty of exclusive deals on everything from TVs and smartphones to clothing and kitchen appliances.

What deals can I expect during Prime Big Deal Days?

Sales like Prime Day and Big Deal Days often present excellent opportunities to get Android tech for cheap. It also gives us an early look at what to expect when the Black Friday deals start kicking off in November.

This year, expect solid discounts on foldable phones and flagships from Samsung and Google. I expect the Pixel 11 series, in particular, to get some good discounts, in addition to phones like the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Fold 8. You can also expect SSD and NAS storage devices to get some good deals as the current RAM shortage continues on.

What if I don't want to support Amazon during Prime Big Deal Days?

If you'd rather not support Amazon at all, it's worth noting that the retailer's biggest competitors — such as Best Buy, Walmart, and Target — usually launch their own rival sales at the same time as the Prime Day event. These sale events will often match (or even surpass) Amazon's discounts, and they rarely require a membership to enjoy the full savings.

Amazon doesn't refresh its tablets and e-readers every year because it doesn't need to. The Kindle tablet series is wildly popular year round, because there's no other brand delivering such value-packed products at prices as low as Amazon. What's even more awesome is that Amazon is kicking off a few October Prime Day deals ahead of Big Deal Days, slashing more than half off the Fire HD 10 (2023) tablet.

Retailing for $154.99, the Fire HD 10 was already an insanely cheap 10-inch tablet. This 53% discount chops it down to an unbelievably low $72.99 on Amazon, but only for a limited time. The large 10.1-inch Full HD LCD display with a crisp 1920 x 1200 resolution makes this an ideal tablet for adults as well as children, which is why we named it the best cheap Android tablet for kids in 2026.

✅Recommended if: you want a cheap Amazon Fire tablet below $100 for streaming, gaming, or as a shared smart display for a family household; you need something with a battery life of over 12 hours; you want something that includes expandable storage.

❌Skip this deal if: you prefer a thin and lightweight build; you need higher quality cameras.

Although this deal is for the 32GB version of the device, the Fire HD 10 supports expandable storage via microSD, and you can add up to 1TB of storage. The uptime is superb, giving you about 13 hours of battery life per charge, and there are 5MP cameras on both the front and rear that are good enough for basic needs like video calls.

The tablet has easy-to-use parental controls for shared device usage and is compatible with the separately sold Amazon stylus.

One of the Fire HD 10's rarer features is the 3.5mm audio jack, allowing you to plug in headphones. It also sports dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, so the auditory experience when streaming your favorite TV shows or movies is fabulous.

The Amazon tablet is powered by an octa-core processor and 4GB RAM, which may not sound like much, but actually manages to perform well in real life. In fact, you'll be delightfully taken aback by how decently the Amazon Fire HD 10 2023 handles multitasking, light office work, and even some gaming.

Tech keeps getting more and more expensive, but that doesn't mean that you can't find the occasional cheap Android phone deal if you know where to look. Grab the unlocked Nothing Phone (4a) Pro from Amazon today, for example, and you'll get a straight $50 off your purchase. That knocks the price of the midrange masterpiece down to just $449!

The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro easily holds its own against midrange Android phones like the Google Pixel 10a and the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, blending eye-catching design and a 144Hz AMOLED display with efficient Snapdragon performance and a large 5,080mAh battery.

This deal comes just a few weeks before Amazon's Big Deal Days sale on October 6th and 7th, but why wait for Prime Day when you can score a discount on a great cheap Android phone today? After all, it's unlikely that the price will dip much further when the sale begins in earnest, and you run the risk of stock selling out if you wait too long.

• Prime Big Deal Days returns October 6-7: see the full list of early deals

Reviewer Nick Sutrich called the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro the 'only $499 phone I'd buy' in his 4.5/5-star review earlier this year, and looking at the specs, it isn't hard to see why. The cheap Android phone boasts incredible build quality with one of the best-looking designs in the business, plus you get a gorgeous 144Hz AMOLED display with PWM dimming, plenty of on-device AI features, and six years of software support guaranteed.

The 128GB configuration of the phone also comes with 8GB of RAM, while the 256GB version will increase that to 12GB. Constructed from a metal unibody with an IP65 resistance rating, the Phone (4a) Pro also features a large 5,080mAh battery that will easily last over a day on a single charge, while unique features like Essential Space and Nothing Playground ensure that you're getting a flagship-quality software experience without paying a flagship price.

As far as hardware is concerned, the Phone (4a) Pro utilizes a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset that falls a bit behind the Google Pixel 10a's Tensor G4 when looking at peak performance, but it's crucial to note that the Snapdragon CPU performs more efficiently over longer periods of time. The Pixel 10a, on the other hand, is known to overheat, making it less reliable for regular daily use.

Each phone has their own strengths and weaknesses, but if I was trying to decide between the Pixel 10a and the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, I'd choose the device that takes risks over the same-old, same-old.

Deals on smart glasses can be hard to find, but Amazon attempting to change all of that with its latest offers. Weeks ahead of the Big Deal Days sale (sometimes known as October Prime Day), the retailer is offering the Viture Pro 2 XR smart glasses at a 21% discount, marking $81 off the normal purchase price and bringing them back to their lowest price ever recorded.

These are a good pick for anyone looking to use their AR glasses for gaming, watching movies and TV shows, traveling, or other AR-based activities. They also have the benefit of selling for far less than many other smart glasses options, making them a budget-friendly pick as well.

They also come with adjustable frames, three different nose pad sizes, and seven fit customization options overall. To be sure, these aren't the most powerful or versatile smart glasses ever built, but for most casual users consuming media or tackling simple work tasks, they're a great pick.

• Prime Big Deal Days returns Oct 6-7: see the full list of deals

✅Recommended if: you're looking for XR smart glasses that feature a user-friendly UI and a nice display without having to break the bank; you want a pair of glasses with a good portable case and easy stowability, as well as adjustable frames that make them extra comfortable; you want XR glasses that will work for Switch 2 gaming or other console gaming, and you have a budget of around $300.

❌Skip this deal if: you'd rather upgrade to a pair of smart glasses that are better suited for work tasks than for gaming or watching movies; you're looking for smart glasses with high-quality built-in speakers; you mostly want AR or XR smart glasses for reading and want something that will offer a good user experience when doing so.

The Viture Pro 2 glasses feature an expanded field of view from the previous generation, now offering 50 degrees and offering a less limited screen. Viture's glasses also boast some of the best XR smart glasses ecosystems in the game, offering a nice experience for users.

These boast a 1,600 nit brightness level, 1080p resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and they also feature filters for blue light, a more cinematic aesthetic, and a bright display.

Fall's Big Deal Days sale at Amazon isn't quite here yet, but the retailer is already offering some great smartwatch deals ahead of the event. As one example, Amazon is already offering the 2023 Garmin Venu 3 at a 35% discount, along with a bunch of other early price drops for the upcoming sale.

The Garmin Venu 3 is a 2023 release, but it still includes a 14-day battery life, accurate health sensors, and a bright, good-looking display that still holds up quite well in 2026. It's not as bright or powerful as the newer Venu 4, but the differences are marginal enough to justify going with the lower-priced option here.

This particular discount is for the 45mm configuration of the watch. If you're more keen on the smaller 41mm version, or the 45mm in white, Amazon is also offering similar price drops on those, so it might be worth clicking around a bit.

✅Recommended if: you want a fitness watch with a long-lasting battery, features like GPS, HR monitoring, sleep data, and more; you have a budget of around $300 for an Android smartwatch; you need a watch with a useful, easy-to-read display.

❌Skip this deal if: you'd rather upgrade to the newer Venu 4 for its updated aesthetic, accuracy, dual-band GPS, and the latest training tools; you need a watch with an LTE-capable configuration; you prefer to get wearables with support for newer technology, such as Garmin's new Health Status app.

The Garmin Venu 3 is a solid pick for those who aren't concerned with dual-band GPS, though our tests confirmed that it still offered fairly accurate tracking capabilities back in 2023. It also offers a more discreet and versatile design than many of Garmin's watches, in my opinion, making it a solid affordable option that won't look or feel clunky on your wrist.

Garmin says the watch will net users up to 14 days of battery life in smartwatch mode, and the 1.4-inch AMOLED display on the 45mm is large and vibrant, without sacrificing battery. In any case, if you're a new or intermediate athlete who is ready to upgrade from an even older device, this deal might be one worth considering.

Amazon's 48-hour Big Deal Days sale kicks off on October 6th, but the retailer has wasted no time in dropping some of its Garmin watch deals early. Whether you want the sleek Venu 3S or the ready-for-anything Garmin Instinct 3 Solar, you don't need to wait for October Prime Day to score a great deal on some of the best fitness watches around.

Garmin has been a leading manufacturer of fitness watches for years, providing wearable solutions for every level of athlete and every budget under the sun. These smartwatches are tough and reliable, full of premium features like AMOLED displays, military-grade durability ratings, and all of the health and fitness tracking features you could ever need.

The early Prime Day deals even extend to the Venu 4, which is our favorite Garmin watch on the market today. Will prices drop even further when Amazon's sale begins in earnest? It's hard to say, but if you need a new fitness smartwatch ASAP, you can rest easy knowing that you scored a great deal weeks before everyone else.

What is the best Garmin watch?

We consider the Garmin Venu 4 to be the best overall Garmin watch for most people in 2026. While it may not be for the world's most advanced fitness device, the watch is an impressive all-rounder, covering most of the bases for beginners and experienced athletes alike. You get a bright OLED display with 5ATM water resistance, while the case and bezels are constructed from durable stainless steel and reinforced polymer materials.

Moreover, the Venu 4 comes equipped with a bounty of premium software features under the hood, including multi-band GPS and NFC support in addition to accurate tracking for heart rate, ECG, SpO2, and beyond. The watch also comes with Garmin-exclusive features like Body Battery and Evening Report, plus you get a built-in flashlight, dozens of pre-installed sports modes, and up to 12 days of battery life on a single charge. The Venu 4 is Garmin's 'everything but the kitchen sink' watch, and for most athletes, that's a very good thing.

Amazon has confirmed that its next Prime Big Deal Days sale event will occur on October 6th and 7th, but you don't need to wait to score an incredible Google Pixel phone deal. For a limited time, the retailer is slashing $200 off the unlocked Google Pixel 10 Pro, knocking the price of the last-gen flagship down to just $799. That makes it $100 cheaper than the base model Google Pixel 11 and $300 cheaper than the new Pixel 11 Pro!

Some folks may be hesitant to purchase a last-gen smartphone, even at a discount, but I can confidently say that the Google Pixel 10 Pro still holds its own against the best Android phones on the market. That said, there are a few drawbacks that you should consider before taking the leap. Is this Pixel 10 Pro deal right for you? Let's break it down.

• Prime Big Deal Days returns Oct 6-7: see the 20+ best early deals available now

The Pixel 10 Pro boasts a gorgeous 6.3-inch pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while under the hood you get 16GB of RAM, an efficient Tensor G5 chipset, and all of the versatile AI-boosted camera tech that Google is known for. The phone also got a boost to its battery life compared to its predecessor, plus you'll enjoy faster charging speeds with Qi2 magnetic charging support.

So what's the catch? Well, with Big Deal Days and Black Friday just around the corner, there's a good chance that the price of the Pixel 10 Pro will dip even further in the coming weeks. That said, there's an equally good chance that the Pixel 10 Pro will completely sell out before that time.

If you've been interested in this particular phone for a while, I'd take your chances and place the order today. The Pixel 10 Pro is a great device, after all, and the six remaining software updates ensure that the phone won't feel obsolete any time soon. If, on the other hand, you're simply looking for a great Pixel phone and you're in no hurry to make a purchase, it might be worth waiting a bit to see what the fall sale season has in store for the Pixel 11 lineup.

Get those holiday shopping lists ready: Amazon has announced that its Big Deal Days sale (otherwise known as 'October Prime Day') will be held on October 6th and 7th. That means we're just weeks away from shopping Amazon's Black Friday deals early, and all you'll need is a Prime membership.

That said, if you're not a Prime member or you simply don't want to wait, you'll be pleased to learn that Amazon has dropped a ton of tech deals ahead of the sale, giving you a chance to save big on everything from smartphones and laptops to noise-cancelling headphones.

The retailer is already carving $75 off the unlocked Google Pixel 10a, for instance, or you can score a whopping 36% off the popular Garmin Venu 3S smartwatch if you place your order today.

The best part is that most of the deals below don't require a Prime membership, although if you were interested in shopping Prime Day deals when Big Deal Days kicks off next month, it's worth mentioning that Amazon is offering a 30-day free trial. This will let you enjoy all of the exclusive deals (in addition to regular subscription benefits) without paying a cent.

What you need to know

• Amazon has announced that Big Deal Days will be held on October 6th and 7th, 2026.
• This 'October Prime Day' event will showcase deals on Android phones, smartwatches, laptops, and more.
• The vast majority of deals during Big Deal Days will be exclusive to Prime members.

It's official: Amazon has confirmed that its 2026 Big Deal Days sale event will be held on October 6th and 7th this year, which means we're just a few weeks away from seeing some of the best deals of the year.

While it's not as big as the official Prime Day in July, Amazon's Big Deal Days event is generally seen as the beginning of fall sale season, giving shoppers an early look at what to expect when the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales go live in November.

Whether you're trying to get your holiday shopping done early or simply pick up a new Android phone, Big Deal Days is a great way to beat the Black Friday crowds and score discounts on every type of product imaginable.

• See the top 20+ best early Prime Day deals available now

Prime members can expect to find great deals on everything from smart TVs and tablets to groceries and kitchen appliances. Considering the growing prices on tech this year, you can also expect a lot of interest in the latest Android phones, storage devices, and laptops.

The newest foldable phones from Samsung, Apple, and Motorola might see some hefty discounts as part of the sale, for instance, while I also expect the Google Pixel 11 series to score a serious price drop for the very first time.

It's also worth mentioning that retailers like Best Buy and Walmart are sure to launch rival sales at the same time as Amazon Big Deal Days, so don't forget to shop around before you commit to one deal. Naturally, we'll be covering all of the best deals on Android devices so you don't have to go looking.

Android Central's take

If you're a Prime member, Amazon's Prime Day events are always worth checking out. This is especially true if you're on the hunt for a new smartphone, as nearly every major release we've seen this year has come with some sort of price increase. Now's your chance to offset that price hike and beat the Black Friday crowds.

Just make sure you're a Prime member (or willing to join) if you're not already. The retailer offers a convenient 30-day free trial that lets you enjoy the full benefits of the sale, so consider signing up for that if you don't want to deal with yet another subscription.

The fall sale season is quickly approaching, but you don't need to wait for Black Friday to score some exceptional smartphone deals. Case in point: for a limited time, Amazon is slashing 15% off the Google Pixel 10a, which was already my favorite cheap Android phone on the market.

The deal drops the price of the unlocked Pixel 10a down to just $424, no trade-in required. That said, if you do have an old or broken device lying around, Amazon is offering up to $420 (in the form of a gift card) when you process a trade. What's the point of Black Friday when the Google Pixel deals are already this good?

Typically priced around $499 for the 128GB configuration, the Google Pixel 10a is a midrange phone that punches well above its weight class. Straight out of the box, the Pixel 10a boasts a stunning 6.3-inch 120Hz pOLED display with IP68 durability and 3,000 nits of brightness, while under the hood you get Android 16, 8GB of RAM, and a 5,100mAh battery that's actually larger than what's found inside the base model Pixel 10.

At 183 grams, the Pixel 10a is also lighter than its flagship counterpart, while both phones share many of the same camera tech and software features. The Google Pixel 10a even comes with seven years of OS and security upgrades, which is a rarity for devices in this price category.

Of course, no phone is perfect. The Pixel 10a surprised us all by utilizing the last-gen Google Tensor G4 chipset instead of the newer G5, plus you don't get Qi2 charging support or as many AI features as you would with a flagship Pixel. It's also worth mentioning that, with Black Friday just around the corner, we might see some Pixel deals that drop the price of the Pixel 10a even further in the coming weeks.

With all of that being said, if you just want a great phone at a great price today, the Google Pixel 10a might be the midrange masterpiece that you're searching for. The phone is already worth a look at full price, but this Amazon discount is simply the cherry on top.

Readers on the hunt for a great smartwatch deal can call off the search, as Amazon just slashed 27% off the 41mm Google Pixel Watch 4 (LTE). That's a record-smashing discount on one of the best wearables that we've ever tested, dropping the watch down to just $329.99 for a limited time.

This deal follows last month's launch of the new Pixel Watch 5, a somewhat redundant device that doesn't dramatically upgrade any of the features that made the Google Pixel Watch 4 so iconic. After all, there's a reason why last year's model is still holding a top spot in our guide to the best Android smartwatches that money can buy.

A new release from Google also means that discounts on the last-gen wearable are becoming more common, although even I have to admit I'm surprised to see a record-breaking discount this soon. Why wait for Black Friday? The first great Pixel deal of the season is already here.

Currently 27% off at Amazon, the Google Pixel Watch 4 boasts a stunning domed display with 3,000 nits of brightness, plus you get smooth Wear OS performance out of the box, 32GB of onboard storage, and a ton of accurate health and fitness tracking features. The 41mm watch also lasts up to two days on a single charge, while its fast charging capabilities can get your battery back up to 50% in as little as 15 minutes.

But what about the new Google Pixel Watch 5? Well, the watches look pretty much identical at first glance, but you are getting 50% more RAM and twice the storage by going with the newer model. You also get a slight uptick in GPS accuracy. The problem is that, aside from the storage boost, most users won't notice much of a difference between the two models on a day-to-day basis.

If both watches were at full price, sure, I'd recommend dropping the additional 50 bucks to get the new Pixel Watch 5. But with this Amazon discount, the 41mm Google Pixel Watch 4 with LTE is a whopping $170 cheaper than its 2026 counterpart. The small upgrades from the Pixel Watch 5 simply don't justify the higher price tag, making last year's model a much smarter buy while this discount is active.

TL;DR: the hybrid-style Garmin Venu 3S just scored a 36% discount that drops the fitness watch to its lowest price ever recorded at Amazon.

About a year ago, I decided it was finally time to try jogging again. I had hated the activity since I was a kid, but something about the simplicity of hitting the trail with nothing more than some earbuds, good running shoes, and a fitness watch suddenly appealed to me one day.

The problem is that I didn't have a fitness watch at the time, and all of the best Garmin watches seemed too bulky and rugged-looking for my (admittedly) skinny wrists. Fortunately, that's when I came across the Garmin Venu 3S.

This wearable takes the hardware of the excellent Venu 3 and packs it into a sleek, discreet wearable that could easily pass inspection as a traditional Android smartwatch. I paid around $350 for it last year (insert crying face emoji), but now Amazon is slashing a record-smashing 36% off the watch, knocking the price down to just $288.

The Garmin Venu 3S took my fitness regimen to the next level, and now it's selling at a record low price

The Venu 3S comes packed full of the detailed metrics you'd expect in a Garmin watch, such as heart rate monitoring, ECG, and Pulse Ox, plus you get useful features like Body Battery and Sleep Score. And for once, you're getting a fitness watch that's actually comfortable enough to sleep in.

The Garmin Venu 3S also comes with GPS tracking, 8GB of storage for music files, and over 30 pre-installed activity modes, which means I can take it on hikes and bike rides without skipping a beat. Battery life isn't exactly groundbreaking, but the Venu 3S does last a solid week or so before it needs a recharge (with GPS activated).

Is it the best Garmin watch ever built? No, that title probably belongs to the pricey Fenix 9. But is it a reliable fitness watch that's perfect for this (very) casual athlete? Absolutely, and if you've been on the fence about the Venu 3S, this record-smashing 36% discount should encourage you to take the leap like I did.

TL;DR: Amazon just dropped a bunch of Fire tablet deals for kids and adults alike, but they're selling out fast.

Tablets are nearly as essential as smartphones in this day and age, but finding a good deal on one of these devices can be a challenge. Fortunately, if you're in the market for a new couch companion, you're in luck: Amazon is slashing prices on several models from its popular Fire line of tablets, including 50% off the Fire HD 10, which is my personal favorite.

Amazon Fire tablets aren't exactly beasts of performance, but they're great tools if you need a reliable device for streaming, casual gaming, or surfing the web. Indeed, these tablets are all about simplicity, with bright displays, great battery life, and an approachable price tag. What else could you need?

Which Amazon Fire tablet should you buy?

It depends on how you plan you use your tablet. If you need something compact and portable for road trips or long flights, look no further than the Fire HD 8. If, on the other hand, you enjoy large screens for streaming, gaming, or reading, the Amazon Fire HD 10 is likely the better choice.

Regardless of the cheap Android tablet you buy, you can rest easy knowing that you're getting an Amazon tablet with great battery life, fast performance, and a price that won't break your budget.

Garmin smartwatch deals are hardly uncommon nowadays, but any discount on the brand's premium Fenix line is sure to turn heads.

Head to Amazon before its Labor Day deals expire and you can score a straight 25% discount on the Garmin Fenix 8, a classic fitness watch that still impresses with a rugged design and a suite of comprehensive fitness tracking features.

It may not be the newest Garmin Fenix watch around any longer (that honor belongs to the great Fenix 9), but if you don't mind going with a last-gen device, you'll get a lot more bang for your buck with the Fenix 8.

• See the full list of leftover Labor Day deals at Amazon today

Despite its last-gen status, the Fenix 8 continues to impress as one of the best Garmin watches on the market today, thanks to the wearable's sophisticated blend of rugged design and powerful performance. The watch boasts a vibrant AMOLED face with stainless steel and reinforced polymer components, plus you get military-grade durability with 10ATM water resistance (so you can wear it in the pool).

The Fenix 8 also sports a built-in LED flashlight and microphone for voice commands/calls, while under the hood you get 32GB of onboard storage and up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge. The fitness watch also comes with all of the health and fitness tracking tools we've come to expect from the brand, including heart rate, SpO2, and ECG monitoring, alongside features like Body Battery and Garmin Coach.

Indeed, the newer Garmin Fenix 9 is the better watch, but these upgrades come at a price. If you want the flagship Garmin experience without spending an arm and a leg, this Fenix 8 deal presents a convenient alternative. Just don't wait too long to make your move.

Labor Day has come to an end, but there are still a surprising number of leftover tech deals if you know where to look. Case in point: even though its holiday sale has has ended, Amazon is still slashing 50% off the Sony WH-1000XM5, a pair of flagship cans that once topped our list of the best wireless headphones that money can buy.

Sure, these noise-cancelling headphones have since been supplanted by the newer Sony WH-1000XM6, but if you want to enjoy a premium listening experience for cheap, going with the last-gen XM5 is one of the best ways to do so, particularly when you slap on a record-smashing discount. You can thank me later.

Despite their last-gen status, the Sony WH-1000XM5 continue to impress as some of the best noise-cancelling headphones that money can buy. You get powerful active noise cancellation (ANC) straight out of the box along with the excellent sound quality that Sony is famous for, plus the cans boast a comfortable fit, a ton of customizable EQ settings (with 10 presets), and up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge.

The headphones also come with four built-in microphones for voice calls, while multipoint connection means that you can connect your Sony XM5 to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Your purchase will even come with a free carrying case, which, considering the rigid construction of the XM5, is a nice bonus.

Sure, the Sony WH-1000XM6 technically offer a better experience, with longer battery life, a new QN3 processor, and a flexible build, but I'm not sure these upgrades are worth the steep price tag.

Indeed, if you want the flagship Sony audio experience for less than $200, this discount is one of the best headphone deals on the web. This Labor Day deal could end at any moment, however, so I'd either buy now or prepare to wait until Black Friday season rolls around in a few months. The choice is yours.

TL;DR: the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra just scored a rare 27% discount during Amazon's Labor Day sale, but the deal expires in less than 24 hours!

It's no secret that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is one of the best phones ever built, but its steep price tag has been a major barrier for a lot of Android fans. Fortunately, Amazon's Labor Day sale is live and slashing 27% off the unlocked flagship, dropping the price to a much more reasonable $953.

The only catch is that the deal ends at midnight tonight, so you better act fast if you're interested. We probably won't see another discount like this until the fall sales begin in earnest next month.

• Amazon's Labor Day sale ends TONIGHT: see the full list of deals

The nearly perfect Galaxy S26 Ultra just scored a hefty discount during Amazon's Labor Day sale

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is pure luxury inside and out, with a stunning 6.9-inch AMOLED display (with built-in stylus), IP68 ingress protection with an aluminum and Gorilla Glass build, and a slimmer, more lightweight design than its predecessor.

Under the hood, the phone is equipped with the excellent Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, plus you get 12GB of RAM, a seven-year software promise, and all of the latest AI-boosted software features from Galaxy AI. The S26 Ultra also has the innovative Privacy Display feature that prevents people from seeing your screen unless they're looking at it straight on.

Indeed, even with this discount, $953 is a lot for a phone. But if you've had your eye on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra for a while and you prefer the simplicity of an unlocked device, this deal is tough to beat. Just don't wait too long: once this offer is gone, it's going to be at least a month before the Galaxy S26 Ultra gets another discount this good.

Labor Day has arrived, which means we're currently seeing some of the best tech deals this side of Black Friday. Amazon's big Labor Day sale is still going strong throughout the day, slashing prices on a bounty of our favorite Android devices, from smartphones and tablets to wearables and class-ready Chromebooks.

Needless to say, if you don't want to scroll through page after page of product listings to find the deal that's right for you, you're in luck. I've done the work of tracking down the best Android deals during Amazon's Labor Day sale so you don't have to go searching. All of the items below have been tested and approved by the Android Central staff, and I use price tracking tools to distinguish the so-so deals from the discounts that really matter.

Without further ado, let's go ahead and dive into the best Android device deals from Amazon's Labor Day sale. Just be aware that the big deal event ends tonight at midnight, so don't wait too long if something catches your eye!

I'll be honest, I don't cover smart TV deals very often, but occasionally an OLED TV discount comes along that's simply too good not to mention. Case in point: Amazon's Labor Day sale is currently carving 44% off the 65-inch C6 Series OLED TV by LG, which is widely considered to be one of the best OLED TVs on the market today.

That's a record-smashing discount on a smart TV that our sister site TechRadar called 'the best TV for most people' in 2026. In fact, the only issue that I've had with the LG C6 is its price, so this Labor Day deal is a welcome sight. Amazon will even deliver and unpack the set in the room of your choice at no additional cost. And you don't even need to be a Prime member to enjoy the savings.

• See my TOP 20+ deals from Amazon's Labor Day sale

The C6 is powered by LG's very own Alpha a11 Gen 3 AI processor, which means all of your favorite content is intelligently upscaled in real time. The smart TV boasts truly spectacular picture beyond optimization, as well, utilizing over 8 million pixels to deliver deeply immersive colors with rich blacks and lifelike details.

You also get features like Filmmaker mode, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos, while gamers will appreciate optimized specs like NVIDIA G-Sync, a 165Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 0.1ms response time. You even get four HDMI 2.1 ports for all of your consoles and streaming devices!

Is the 65-inch model too big or too small for your space? Amazon is also dropping discounts on the entire C6 TV lineup, so you can take your pick. That being said, going with the 65-inch C6 OLED (or larger) will get you the best value. If you're looking for something smaller, I'd probably wait until Amazon's big October Prime Day sale, which will likely occur sometime in October.

Samsung's latest 'Fan Edition' smartphone has just hit store shelves, and you can already find some solid Galaxy S26 FE deals during Labor Day sales this weekend. Buy the midrange masterpiece unlocked from Amazon, for instance, and you'll get a free $200 gift card with your purchase. No strings attached!

You can even claim an additional gift card worth up to $600 if you trade in an old or broken device on the retailer's website. Not too shabby for an Android phone that was literally just announced last week! No Prime membership is required to receive the gift card, but be aware that Amazon's deal ends on September 20th — so you don't have very long to claim your free cash.

The 'Fan Edition' Galaxy S26 FE comes with a free $200 gift card at Amazon

Don't let its unassuming design fool you: the Galaxy S26 FE is one of the best 'Fan Edition' smartphones that Samsung has produced in years. Starting at $699.99 for the 128GB version, the device comes equipped with a lovely 6.7-inch AMOLED display constructed from durable Gorilla Glass Victus+, while under the hood you get a powerful Exynos chipset and a 4,900mAh battery that should easily last a full day on a single charge.

Looking at the camera tech, the Galaxy S26 FE boasts a 50MP main lens, plus you get all of the brand's latest AI-boosted software features, such as Nightography and My FanCam. The midrange smartphone also comes with Android 17 straight out of the box, making the Galaxy S26 FE the first Samsung phone to launch with One UI 9. You even get seven years of OS and security updates guaranteed, which is extremely unusual for phones in this price range.

So what's the catch?

Well, the problem with Samsung's FE series always comes down to timing and price. The midrange phones generally launch months after the release of the company's S-series lineup, which means the flagship devices are often getting discounted by the time the new FE arrives. For example, you can currently buy an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S26 256GB for $721 at Amazon, which is only $21 more expensive than the S26 FE. Although, of course, you won't get the $200 gift card.

If you want a great smartphone with Android 17 out of the box AND $200 of Amazon spending money, this Galaxy S26 FE promotion is an awesome deal. If, on the other hand, you're simply looking for the best Android phone deal imaginable, it might be worth waiting a few weeks to see what the fall sale season has in store for us.

TL;DR: I just found some Labor Day deals that carve up to $350 off the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, no strings attached.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra has only been out since August 7th, but you can already score some impressive discounts if you know where to look. The best part is that these are straight discounts, which means you don't need to worry about meeting any kind of eligibility requirements to receive the savings.

No confusing contracts, no trade-in process: just good old-fashioned discounts on a powerful Android phone. Considering that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra starts at a steep $2,099.99, these straightforward Labor Day deals are a very welcome sight.

• See my guide to the best Galaxy Z Fold 8 / Z Fold 8 Ultra deals of September 2026

Starting at $2,099.99, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is both a follow-up to last year's great Galaxy Z Fold 7 and a major upgrade upon it. This impressive foldable phone takes its predecessor's thin and lightweight build and adds a huge 5,000mAh battery, the latest Qualcomm chip, and all of the latest AI-boosted software features from Galaxy AI.

As promised, the center crease is less visible than ever before, plus the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra comes with all of the powerful specs you'd expect from a 2026 Samsung foldable, including great cameras, two gorgeous AMOLED displays, and seven years of guaranteed OS and security upgrades.

Indeed, the biggest problem that I have with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is probably its price. Spending over $2,000 on a smartphone simply isn't realistic for many folks, which is why deals like the offer above are so essential. A $350 price reduction may seem like a drop in the bucket for such an expensive phone, but if you want a straightforward offer without any confusing fine print, these discounts are going to be pretty tough to beat (until Black Friday, at least).

Google's 2026 phone lineup is here, but if you were hoping to snag the best Pixel 11 deals, you better act fast. From now through August 27th at 11:59pm PST, Amazon will give you a free $100 gift card when you buy the base model Google Pixel 11 on its website. Go with the Pixel 11 Pro instead and your gift card balance will increase to $200. No trade-in required, no strings attached!

We've seen a lot of Pixel 11 deals since the phones were unveiled earlier this month, but few offers have been this straightforward. The only tricky part now is grabbing the deal before it expires. Once this free gift card promotion ends, it's gone for good.

It's your last chance to get a free Amazon gift card with the purchase of a Google Pixel 11

• See the top deals available at Amazon today

Unlike some smartphone releases, the Google Pixel 11 is more about careful refinement than dramatic transformation. The device takes the stellar foundation of last year's Google Pixel 10 and adds a new Tensor G6 chipset for faster performance, twice the base storage, and an upgraded camera system. You also get faster charging and Android 17 straight out of the carton.

The 2026 flagship also keeps a lot of the specs that make Google Pixel phones so desirable, from the AI-boosted camera tech to the seven years of guaranteed OS and security upgrades.

Indeed, this offer from Amazon may not be as flashy as the many carrier deals and trade-in opportunities that are floating around right now, but if you value simplicity, here is an easy way to get a powerful Pixel device and some free spending money without all of the pesky fine print.

Android tablet deals are hardly uncommon, but a historic discount on one of the industry's best writing tablets? Now that's a cause for celebration.

For a limited time, Amazon and Best Buy alike are slashing $100 off the reMarkable Paper Pro, a versatile (and pricey) e ink tablet with a full color display, ultra-thin build, and outstanding battery life straight out of the box.

This discount drops the price of the reMarkable Paper Pro down to $679, which is actually the lowest price ever recorded for the tablet. If you need something a little smaller, it's worth mentioning that the portable 7.3-inch reMarkable Paper Pro Move is also $100 off for a limited time. Which writing tablet is right for you? Let's take a closer look.

reMarkable tablets are productivity machines specifically built to help you get work done with minimal distractions. There are no social media apps here, no ads, and no notifications — just peak performance in an elegant and efficient package.

Deals on these writing tablets are notoriously rare, so if you've had your eye on the reMarkable Paper Pro or Paper Pro Move for a while, don't wait too long to make your move.

Cheap earbuds can sacrifice audio quality, which is why it truly pays to find discounts on products that we already know and love. As one example, Amazon is cutting 27% off the price of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE, representing a $70 price drop and bringing them down to just $80.

The Galaxy Buds 3 FE earbuds launched last August, bringing with them Galaxy AI features, voice commands, live translation, and a larger speaker than the previous iteration. We also loved the upgraded blade design when it was first leaked, along with the sleek two-tone look.

These Samsung earbuds will also sport a better active noise cancellation profile than pretty much anything else you can find around the $100 mark, as well as a solid battery life and charging speeds.

Basically, if you don't want to spend the extra money on Samsung or other brands' premium-level buds, these are a good way to go—especially if you can find a price drop like this one.

✅ Recommended if: you're looking for earbuds for around $100 that will still include ANC and decent-sounding audio quality; you like a sleek pair of earbuds that include a portable charging case and a long-lasting battery with or without ANC engaged; you like having hands-free features for voice commands and playback control.

❌ Skip this deal if: you're in the market for the best wireless earbuds available and would rather upgrade to the Buds 3 Pros, or at least something offering true high-resolution listening; you prefer a pair of earbuds without the silicone ear tips; you need a pair of buds that also includes wireless charging capabilities.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds FEs (or Fan Editions) offer a more affordable entry point for pricing than the Buds 3 Pros, while still featuring modern conveniences like a charging case, ANC backed by three onboard mics, spatial audio, and IP54 water and dust resistance.

Samsung says they'll get up to 24 hours of battery life with intermittent case charges, up to 6 hours with ANC toggled on, or up to 8.5 with the mode turned off. The Galaxy Buds 3 FE don't feature the highest resolution audio available on the market, but they still sound pretty good, especially in this price range.

TL;DR: Amazon is slashing 34% off the Garmin Venu 3 (45mm), knocking the popular fitness watch down to its lowest price ever recorded.

Garmin has been producing industry-leading fitness smartwatches for years, but major discounts on the wearables can be difficult to find outside of major sale events. This is particularly true if you're looking at the brand's popular Venu and Forerunner series of watches, which is why I was pleasantly surprised to see Amazon carve a record-smashing 34% off the price of the Garmin Venu 3 this week.

This iconic fitness watch once topped our list of the best Garmin watches money can buy, but three years after launch, is the Venu 3 still worth it? It largely depends on what you're looking for in a wearable. Let's break it down.

The Venu 3 is the predecessor to Garmin's Venu 4, which is currently sitting at the top spot in our guide to the best fitness watches of 2026. Shockingly, the last gen model actually surpasses the Venu 4 in a few areas, with better battery life (up to 14 days) and a lighter polymer casing. You also get the same accurate health sensors with both models, stainless steel bezels, and nearly-identical designs.

Furthermore, the Garmin Venu 3 boasts a ton of comprehensive health and fitness monitoring features (including ECG), NFC and GLONASS GPS tracking, and a built-in microphone for calls. All good stuff, so what's the catch?

Well, if you're accustomed to a newer fitness watch, the Venu 3 can feel a bit lacking in the software department. You get all of the Garmin basics, such as Body Battery, VO2 Max, and 30 pre-installed sports modes, but you miss out on newer additions like Fitness Coach, Health Status, and Sleep Alignment. The Garmin Venu 3 also doesn't have the built-in flashlight or dual-band GPS.

That being said, with the current Amazon discount, the Garmin Venu 3 is a whopping $205 cheaper than the Venu 4. If you're a self-guided athlete who doesn't need all of the latest software features, the Venu 3 is a reliable fitness watch at an exceptional price. It'd also make an excellent entry-level watch for someone who's just now getting into tracking their fitness.

For folks who want the latest and greatest in fitness-tracking technology, however, you may want to wait. After all, the Garmin Venu 4 is sure to get a hefty discount of its own one of these days, right?

TL;DR: Amazon has launched a bunch of deals on TCL's eye-friendly smartphones and tablets, just in time for Back to School 2026.

Considering how much time we spend staring at screens throughout the day, it's no wonder that many folks are concerned about their eye health. Some brands would pack the latest eye-friendly display technology into their most expensive devices, but not TCL.

The company's NXTPAPER lineup is full of fast and feature-packed smartphones and tablets that are built with your vision in mind, and they're often way cheaper than the competition. These devices boast cutting-edge 120Hz displays with customizable settings, anti-reflective finishes, and up to 61% less blue light than traditional screens.

Whether you're shopping for an eye-friendly Android phone or a versatile tablet to take with you to class, Amazon's Back to School sale is slashing prices on a bunch of our favorite TCL NXTPAPER devices. Keep reading for all of my top picks today.

The memory shortage is showing no signs of stopping any time soon, but fear not: Amazon has apparently decided to drop a bunch of pretty incredible UGREEN NAS deals anyway. One notable example is this discount that drops 15% off the UGREEN DXP4800 Pro, a model that we called the 'best 4-bay NAS that you can buy in 2026'.

The NAS for home boasts the same design and features of the acclaimed DXP4800 Plus, but now you get the new 6-core Intel Core i3-1315U processor, improved hardware transcoding, and 8GB of DDR5 RAM (expandable up to 96GB). The finished product is a versatile storage system that delivers standout performance and plenty of privacy for your home, office, and beyond.

The best 4-bay NAS of 2026 is now $120 off at Amazon

In addition to the hardware upgrades described above, the DXP4800 Pro
comes with 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, dual M.2 slots, and several HDMI and USB ports. The metal chassis feels durable and built to last through whatever life can throw at it, while privacy features like Data Vault ensure that each file gets the exact amount of encryption that it needs.

One issue is that the DXP4800 Pro does use a bit more power than some NAS servers, and since we're talking about a device that's meant to run 24/7, it's worth considering the impact to your energy bill before you take the leap.

Aside from that, however, the DXP4800 Pro is a pretty perfect file management system, whether you're new to NAS storage or looking to upgrade your existing servers.

As tablet deals take center stage for many who are about to start a new school year, retailers are launching new discounts left and right. One such example is Amazon, which is currently offering an 11% discount on the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus, representing $30 in savings on a solid, affordable device.

The Lenovo Idea Tab Plus comes with a first-party stylus, a 12.1-inch touchscreen, and a built-in Folio Case with digital pen storage. It's backed by Android 15 and features a relatively lightweight, albeit durable, aluminum build, as well as a basic 128GB of storage.

For those who need additional storage, it also comes with a built-in microSD card slot that offers up to 1TB of additional space. To be sure, it doesn't exactly feel like a premium tablet, but even at the normal sticker price, it offers a pretty good value for what you get.

✅Recommended if: you're looking for a powerful Android tablet with a large, useful touchscreen, and you'd prefer a device that comes with a first-party stylus; you need something with enough storage for a wide range of file types, even if it means utilizing a microSD card; you like having something thin, lightweight, and portable, and something that also feels durable and drop-proof.

❌Skip this deal if: you're looking for the best tablet on the market and you have the budget to spend money on a premium-level device; you plan to use this for fast-paced gaming and you'd rather spend more on something with top-notch performance; battery life is your top priority when it comes to using a tablet with a stylus.

Lenovo's Idea Tab Plus offers a mid-sized 12.1-inch touchscreen with a 90Hz refresh rate, clocking in at a slightly smaller overall size than the Tab Pro. It has 128GB of storage as well as a microSD port for expandable storage, and a great Folio Case with storage for the included Lenovo digital pen stylus.

Lenovo says the tablet will get users over 6 hours of battery life per charge, and while that isn't an industry-leading spec by any stretch of the imagination, it's likely enough for most casual users, students, and young professionals. If you're looking for a hardcore gaming tablet, however, you may want to look into higher-priced devices with better performance.

Kid-friendly tablet deals are officially here as the new school year approaches, much to the delight of parents and children alike. As one example, Amazon has cut $40 off the price of the Fire 7 Kids Tablet, representing a 36% price cut and bringing the device down to just $70.

The Amazon Fire Kids lineup is well-liked for the interface's easy-to-use parental controls, and for the durable, hard plastic cover that's spill- and drop-proof enough to handle a child's active lifestyle. This particular deal is for the ad-free version of the Fire tablet, and it comes in red, blue, or purple, each with different colored accents of their own.

The Fire 7 Kids Edition is rated for children ages 3 to 7, and it comes with a free one-year subscription to Amazon Kids Plus. Parents also love the Parent Dashboard, which makes it easy to filter content based on their child's particular age, along with the ability to set device time limits, create educational goals, and even access kid-friendly versions of streaming apps such as Netflix and Disney Plus.

✅Recommended if: you want one of the best Android tablets for kids, with easy access to parental controls, a small, durable build, and a price point that won't break the bank; you want a tablet for your kids that has plenty of storage for a variety of apps; you like having a long-lasting battery that will last through trips in the car or other longer-term use periods.

❌Skip this deal if: you'd rather upgrade your kids to the larger 8- or 10-inch displays, rather than the slightly cramped 7-inch option; you need a kids' tablet that's compatible with a wide range of Google services; you'd prefer to avoid an Amazon product and would want to consider the more educationally-focused LeapFrog LeapPad kids tablet.

The Amazon Fire 7 Kids Edition comes with a small, easy-to-hold 7-inch screen, up to 10 hours of battery life, and 16GB of storage. If you expect your child to need more storage space, the device also has a 1TB microSD port, offering more than enough space for most.

Google just announced its 2026 lineup of Pixel devices earlier today, but there are already plenty of preorder deals available if you know where to look.

The Google Pixel Watch 5 isn't getting quite as much attention as the flagship phones, but I just found something interesting at Amazon: if you preorder the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold ahead of the phone's August 20th release date, you'll get the Android smartwatch for 100% free.

This is pretty shocking for an upcoming device that's almost certain to rank among the best Android smartwatches released this year. If you want the latest and greatest in Pixel technology, now's your chance to get an innovative foldable phone AND a Pixel watch in one fell swoop, days before their official launch.

Get a FREE Pixel Watch 5 when you preorder the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold at Amazon

The new-and-improved Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold boasts two gorgeous Super Actua OLED displays with a sturdy folding hinge, IP68 water/dust resistance rating, and scratch-resistant glass. Under the hood, the foldable phone also comes equipped with the powerful Tensor G6 processor, 16GB of RAM, and up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge, all while weighing 10% less than the previous generation.

The Pixel Watch 5, while not a massive upgrade from its predecessor, is a lovely watch with a sleek design and a suite of new software features. It still boasts IP68 durability with an efficient Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip, plus you get a ton of accurate health and fitness tracking features, 64GB of onboard storage, and up to 48 hours of battery life on a single charge.

This Amazon deal isn't for everyone, but if you were planning to preorder the Pixel 11 Pro Fold unlocked anyway, it's a great way to become fully equipped with the latest Google tech in a single instant.

Back to school season is upon us again, and if you're in the market for a new laptop, there are plenty of student-friendly Chromebooks worth considering in 2026. We test these devices every year to ensure that they still meet Android Central's rigorous standards, and I was pleased to see that my personal favorite for students on a budget, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3, is currently chilling with an impressive $220 discount at Best Buy.

The class-ready Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 just scored an epic discount at Best Buy

Whether you're studying, drawing, or streaming your favorite series after class, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is one of the best Chromebooks for students because of its overall versatility and bang for the buck.

Straight out of the box, you get a vibrant 14-inch 1080p display with a touchscreen and a durable enough build that you can easily throw the laptop into a backpack or briefcase. The Chromebook will also last up to 18 hours on a single charge, so you don't have to worry about juicing up mid-class or during those long study sessions.

The IdeaPad Slim 3's MediaTek Kompanio 520 processor with 4GB of RAM is capable enough for studying, streaming, and browsing the web, plus you get plenty of ports (including a microSD card slot) for all of your devices and storage needs.

So what's the catch? Well, as the saying goes: you get what you pay for. The IdeaPad Slim 3 is a basic laptop that's built for basic tasks, and as it's a 2023 device, you shouldn't expect the latest software features as soon as you boot it up.

If you want a cheap laptop that's reliable and durable enough to bring with you wherever you go, the Slim 3 is a great pick. But if you want something with a bit more power and innovation under the hood (and you don't mind paying for it), there are plenty of other outstanding Chromebooks to consider this semester.

TL;DR: the TCL Tab A1 Plus NXTPAPER tablet just dropped in the United States, and it already has a $100 discount at Amazon.

It took a while for TCL to release its newest Android tablet in the United States, but now the Tab A1 Plus NXTPAPER is here with an impressive launch discount in tow.

For a limited time, you can score $100 off the 256GB device by clipping the coupon on Amazon's product page. If you want to save even more, you can go with the 128GB version and pay as little as $219 for the device (provided you have an Amazon Prime account).

It's rare for a brand new tablet to receive a straight discount at launch — especially since the Tab A1 Plus was already pretty affordable — but TCL has never been one to play by the rules.

Whether you need a new tablet for Back to School season, a presentation at work, or as a road trip companion, the TCL Tab A1 Plus NXTPAPER is a great pick that won't break the bank.

Straight out of the box, the device boasts a unique 12.2-inch display that's specifically designed to reduce eye strain, letting you instantly switch into Ink Paper or Color Paper mode as needed.

The tablet comes with a stylus for drawing and taking notes, a solid Snapdragon processor, and a huge 10,000mAh battery, all of which are rare specs for a device in this price range. You also get stereo speakers, some onboard AI features, and 256GB of storage (up to 2TB when you expand using microSD).

The Tab A1 Plus may not be the most powerful Android tablet ever built, but if you're concerned about eye strain and you want a device that offers good old-fashioned bang for the buck, it's pretty unmatched. And with a $100 launch discount knocking the price down to only $299.99, the TCL device is really starting to feel like a no-brainer purchase in 2026.

TL;DR: Amazon has given the top-rated Google Pixel 10a a rare 15% discount, just in time for Back to School season.

The Pixel 11 series is set to be unveiled on August 12th — just in time for Back to School shopping — but for folks who don't want to wait, last year's Google Pixel 10a remains a tempting and budget-friendly alternative.

Currently selling for just $424 at Amazon (a 15% discount), the Google Pixel 10a is easily one of the best Android phones for students in 2026, with exceptional battery life, flagship-level camera tech, and an approachable price tag that won't break the bank. We probably won't see another A series Pixel phone until early 2027, so I'm grabbing this discounted Pixel 10a while I can — the Google Pixel 11 can wait.

The best Android phone for students was already cheap, and Amazon just made it even cheaper

The Google Pixel 10a is a cheap Android phone that punches way above its weight class. The phone impressive with a stunning 6.3-inch pOLED display and IP68 durability out of the box, while under the hood you get the tried-and-tested Tensor G4 chipset, Android 16, and seven years of guaranteed OS and security updates.

The Pixel 10a also comes with the same main and ultrawide camera lenses found in the more-expensive Google Pixel 10, while the cheaper phone actually boasts a bigger battery than its flagship counterpart.

It's not the most powerful Android phone on the market, but if you're shopping for a new smartphone on a student's budget and you don't want to sacrifice the latest specs and features, the Google Pixel 10a is an unbeatable device.

Again, the only real catch with this deal is that the Google Pixel 11 lineup is going to be revealed on August 12th with some preorder deals in tow. These early offers will largely be confined to wireless carriers, but if you want to wait and try to get a Pixel 11 through your phone plan, go for it.

However, if you want an unlocked phone ASAP, I'd jump on this Google Pixel 10a deal while you can. The Pixel 11 isn't going to get any straight discounts any time soon, and as it's expected to start at $899, the new device is not nearly as cost-effective as the Pixel 10a offer described here.

TL;DR: Less than two weeks before the Pixel 11 series launch, Amazon is slashing up to $250 off the unlocked Google Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro.

It's official: Google will be unveiling the Pixel 11 series on August 12th, but if you don't wait to wait, there are plenty of Google Pixel 10 deals worth checking out today. In fact, since so many retailers are trying to clear stock ahead of the 2026 phones' launch, some of the deals on display meet or exceed the offers we saw during the holiday season last year.

Most of the best offers are coming from wireless carriers, but if you prefer the simplicity of unlocked phones, you're in luck: Amazon is slashing $200 off the Google Pixel 10 and $250 off the Google Pixel 10 Pro, representing the best discounts I've seen since Prime Day in June. Stock appears to be low — the Pixel 10 Pro XL is completely sold out, in fact — so don't wait too long if you're interested: these are likely among the final discounts we'll see for the unlocked devices.

Last chance! Score up to $250 off the Pixel 10 series

The big question now is whether you should buy the Pixel 10 or wait for the Google Pixel 11 to go on sale on August 12th. While we don't have any official spec sheets just yet, we've seen so many leaks come down the pipeline that we have a pretty good idea of what to expect when the phones get unveiled next month.

For starters, it's almost certain that the Pixel 11 lineup will receive a price increase this year, with most reports suggesting a $100 hike for the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The phones will also come with the new Tensor G6 processor, and the design has been updated with a new LED light array surrounding the camera bar. Other rumors suggest an upgraded battery and camera system, in addition to all of the latest AI features we've come to expect from the brand.

Are these upgrades enough to justify the increased price? It's hard to say. If you don't mind buying a phone through your wireless carrier, I expect there to be plenty of great Google Pixel 11 preorder deals starting August 12th, so it might be worth waiting.

If, however, you prefer to buy phones unlocked, the Google Pixel 10 discounts above deserve some serious consideration. After all, it's unlikely that the Google Pixel 11 lineup will receive any no-strings discounts until the Fall sales start kicking off in October, so if you need a new phone today, why wait?

Cheap Chromebooks often rise to the surface during the year's biggest sales events, and right now, Amazon has sliced 17% off the price of the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook, just in time for the new school year.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook was a pleasant surprise for us upon its release, especially because it boasts better-than-expected performance speeds and a nice 1080p touchscreen display. It also sports a slim and lightweight design that users like, and it regularly gets discounts like these. This particular deal is for the blue version of the device, and it also marks the laptop's lowest price ever seen at Amazon to date.

All that to say, those who are looking for a performant and affordable Chromebook for school, work, and overall transportability will be hard-pressed to find better options at this price, while battery life feels a lot like the icing on the cake here.

✅Recommended if: you want a lightweight, netbook-style touchscreen laptop that's thin and easy to transport and has a user-friendly operating system; you're working with a budget of around $300, but you don't want to compromise on overall performance; you want something with a screen of around 14 inches that offers 1080p picture quality.

❌Skip this deal if: you need a laptop with a higher-quality front-facing camera than 720p, or with more storage than 64GB; you're looking for a device with a fingerprint reader built in; you're in the market for one of the best Chromebooks available and you have the budget to upgrade.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook is a basic net-book that's perfect for web browsing, video streaming, and basic work and school tasks. Plus, it comes with a 1080p touchscreen that measures 14 inches, up to 13.5 hours of battery life, and connectivity including a USB-C port, a USB-A port, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm microphone and headphone jack.

To be sure, it isn't a perfect laptop, but it'll definitely get the job done for most casual users performing basic, browser-based tasks, especially when you're heading back to class.

Some of the best drawing tablet deals are popping up weeks ahead of the new school year, meaning you don't have to break the bank to get a device that's great for drawing and note-taking. This includes the second-gen TCL NXTPAPER 11 tablet, which has slid back to its lowest price ever at Amazon with a 28% discount that brings it down to just $180.

The TCL NXTPAPER 11 features an 11-inch, matte touchscreen display, a stylus, a built-in camera, and a carrying case. Users appreciate the device's long-lasting battery, while the screen is great for those who are extra sensitive to blue light and glare. Meanwhile, it includes a selfie camera that can be used for a biometric unlock feature instead of utilizing an onboard fingerprint scanner.

It also boasts a super-thin, lightweight design that makes it a good tablet for students and professionals on the go, along with stereo speakers and microphones for video calls, voice commands, and more.

✅Recommended if: you're looking for a solid drawing tablet with a matte display that measures around 11 inches; battery life is a major priority to you when it comes to buying a drawing tablet, and you want something that can easily outlast long drawing periods; you need a drawing tablet that also comes with a first-party stylus and a carrying case.

❌Skip this deal if: you'd rather spend more money to upgrade to one of the best drawing tablets on the market, or at least a model with a super high-res display; you need something with decent onboard cameras and super swift performance speeds; you aren't looking for something with a matte-style paper display.

The TCL NXTPAPER lineup offers a great range of devices, and this one is perfect for anyone who needs a drawing tablet with a roughly-11-inch screen. TCL says the 8,000mAh battery will net users over eight hours of battery life per charge, while it also comes with 18W fast charging capabilities and a reverse charging feature that can be used to power phones and other devices.

It's worth noting that the NXTPAPER 11 doesn't have the highest-resolution screen on the market, nor does it have fast performance or Wi-Fi speeds. Still, at just $180, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything that's going to offer mind-blowing performance, so this pick is perhaps best saved for those who aren't too terribly picky.

Considering that we called the Galaxy Watch 8 the 'best Android smartwatch of 2025', it's no surprise that we've been eagerly awaiting the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 9. Now the big day has arrived, and Samsung's newest flagship wearable doesn't disappoint.

The only problem is that the new smartwatch is a bit more expensive than its predecessor, which is why I was excited to see Amazon offer a free $50 gift card when you preorder the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 ahead of its August 7th release date.

Preorder the Galaxy Watch 9 and Amazon will give you a $50 gift card

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 may not look that different from its predecessor at first glance, but there are some significant improvements when you dig in a bit deeper. The 2026 watch is driven by the new Snapdragon Wear Elite chip, offering a notable performance boost when compared to the Galaxy Watch 8's Exynos processor. Battery capacity has also been upgraded, plus the Galaxy Watch 9 features all of the latest Galaxy AI features with some expanded health and fitness tracking capabilities.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 sports the exact same weight and dimensions as last year's model, which, considering how much we loved the Galaxy Watch 8, is a good thing in our eyes. The new wearable also features the same vibrant AMOLED display, 32GB of onboard storage, and dual-band GPS.

Does upgraded battery life and a new chip justify the higher price on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9? It's not for me to say. If you can find a good deal on the Galaxy Watch 8 and you don't mind using a last-gen watch, go for it. But if you want the latest and greatest model from Samsung, I can pretty much guarantee that the Galaxy Watch 9 won't disappoint. The free $50 gift card from Amazon is simply the cherry on top.

It's not always easy to find good open-ear earbud deals, at least when compared with those of traditional earbuds. For that reason, it's exciting to see Amazon cut our favorite open-ear earbuds, the Bose Ultra Open earbuds, back down to their lowest price ever. The deal represents a 33% price drop, marking $100 in savings and bringing their price down to just $199.

We love the Bose Ultra Open earbuds for a number of reasons, but especially for their powerful immersive sound setting, their minimal, sleek design, fast charging speeds, and a relatively long battery life.

While they don't come with multipoint connection or wireless charging, the Bose Ultra Open are still head and shoulders above other competitors in overall quality and design. At $199, they're still a little more pricey than others, but $100 off feels like it could be all the justification you need if you're already in the market.

✅Recommended if: you want the best open-ear earbuds on the market and your budget is around $199; you want a pair of open-ear earbuds that won't compromise on immersive, high-quality audio; you like having easy-to-use button controls for playback, volume, answering calls, and more on your earbuds; you need something with a minimal, comfortable fit that can be worn and used for long periods of time.

❌Skip this deal if: you aren't looking for open-ear earbuds and would rather spend this amount of money on higher-quality, fully in-ear devices; you need something that offers more than 4 hours of battery when spatial, immersive, or other modes are engaged; you prefer a pair of earbuds with a higher dust and water resistance rating than IPX4.

The Bose Ultra Open earbuds are a certifiably great pair of open-ear buds, featuring a mind-blowing immersive mode and a solid stereo audio mode, a charging case, and a minimal, comfortable design. Bose says they'll get users up to 4 hours of playtime in immersive mode or up to 7 in stereo mode, while the case can offer up to 48 hours of with intermittent charges.

Google is expected to unveil its newest flagship lineup on August 12th, but if you don't want to wait, there are some exceptional Pixel 10 deals that are available NOW. Head to Amazon today and you can score $300 off the Google Pixel 10 Pro, a limited time offer that drops the price of the super-powered flagship down to just $699. That's $100 cheaper than the starting price of the base model Google Pixel 10!

Considering that the upcoming Pixel 11 is getting a price increase and it isn't expected to be a massive overhaul from its predecessor, I would seriously consider this deal if you're in the market for an unlocked smartphone.

After all, 2025's Google Pixel 10 Pro is still considered to be one of the best Android phones on the market, and its seven-year software update promise means it will be a long time before it even begins to feel obsolete.

The Google Pixel 10 Pro takes the compact frame of the base model Pixel 10 and packs in a ton of premium hardware and software features under the hood. Straight out of the carton, you'll behold a lovely 6.3-inch Super Actua OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and IP68 water-and-dust protection.

The phone comes loaded with 16GB of RAM and the powerful Tensor G5 chipset, plus you get versatile cameras, unrivalled haptics, and all of the latest AI tricks from Gemini. Google even added Qi2 wireless charging support.

The big question, of course, is whether or not you should buy the discounted Pixel 10 Pro today or wait for the Google Pixel 11 to be unveiled on August 12th. We don't have a lot of confirmed information yet, but if the latest leaks and rumors are to be believed, the 2026 version of the phone isn't expected to feature many dramatic upgrades over its predecessor.

You'll get a new Tensor G6 chipset and an upgraded battery, for sure, but does that justify the $1,099 price tag? Only time will tell. There is a good chance that many retailers will be offering some impressive preorder discounts starting August 12th, so it's up to you whether you'd like to take the chance and wait for a good Google Pixel 11 deal to come along.

It's no secret that storage devices are getting more and more expensive, which has led some users to switch to NAS for all of their file management needs. NAS servers haven't been quite as affected by the 2026 memory shortage as other devices, which means you can still find some pretty exceptional deals if you know where to look.

UGREEN is a rising star in the NAS space, and unlike popular models from brands like TerraMaster and Synology, UGREEN's NAS servers for home tend to get discounted on a fairly regular basis. Case in point: at this very moment, Amazon is slashing prices on a bunch of the brand's best devices, making now a perfect time to invest in one of these versatile storage solutions.

If you missed all of the festivities during Prime Day last month, you're in luck: the Google Pixel Watch 4 just scored another $100 discount at Amazon, returning the LTE version of the beloved wearable back down to its lowest price ever recorded.

The discount comes just weeks before the expected unveiling of the new Pixel Watch 5, but if you don't need the latest gadgets on the market, this is an awesome way to save some serious cash on one of the best Android smartwatches ever built.

We gave the Google Pixel Watch 4 4.5 out of 5 stars in our review last October, and it isn't hard to see why. Straight out of the box, the watch sports a lovely water-droplet-inspired design with a domed 3,000-nit display and a 5ATM / IP68 water-and-dust resistance rating.

Things get even more impressive under the hood, as the Pixel Watch 4 is powered by a Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 processor with 2GB of RAM and some fantastic Wear OS software. In addition to all of the latest health and fitness tracking technology powered by Fitbit, the watch features dual-frequency GPS tracking, upgraded battery life with lightning-fast charging speeds, and all of the Gemini features you'd expect from a Pixel device in 2026.

So yes, it's a great smartwatch, but let's address the elephant in the room. Should you buy the Google Pixel Watch 4 now that it's on sale, or should you wait for the Pixel Watch 5 to be revealed on August 12th?

I'll start by saying that, unlike the upcoming Pixel 11 phones, we don't know a lot about the Pixel Watch 5 just yet. In fact, one of the only reputable bits of information that we do have so far is that the new watch is expected to have a price increase of $50 for the Wi-Fi version and $100 for the LTE variant.

I'm sure that the Pixel Watch 5 will come with some new features and a boost in performance/battery life to offset the price hike, but it's unlikely to be a dramatic transformation from its predecessor. So in conclusion, unless you're a passionate Pixel fan who needs the latest and great gadgets from the OEM, if you simply want a reliable smartwatch today, I'd grab the Pixel Watch 4 while it's on sale.

Cheap 2-in-1 laptops can sometimes be hard to come by, which is why it's so exciting that Amazon has cut 40% off the price of the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook. This price drop brings the 12.2-inch touchscreen device down to just $350, although it's normally priced at $580.

The IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook has a 360-degree rotating hinge and a Full HD touchscreen, making it easy to use in multiple configurations, including as a standard laptop. The device also lets users flip the hinge all the way to lay it flat like a tablet, or to stand it upright for use in a tent-like shape.

Buyers like this model for its utility, and it's a little cheaper than the upgraded 5i model, which is one of the best Chromebooks for students on the market, in our opinion. All that to say, $350 for a 2-in-1 Chromebook is a pretty decent price, as long as you don't mind having a slightly bulky device with large bezels.

✅Recommended if: you need a durable 2-in-1 Chromebook with a responsive touchscreen, and a 360-degree rotating hinge; you like having a device with a long-lasting battery that you know will last through marathon use sessions; you prefer a user-friendly netbook-style operating system, or you've liked other Chrome OS devices you've owned in the past.

❌Skip this deal if: you're looking for a laptop with a sleek, lightweight design that's easy to transport and looks super modern; you need a device with industry-leading performance speeds; you don't need a 2-in-1 laptop and would rather go with a more traditional tablet or computer.

Lenovo says the 3i Flex Chromebook will get users up to 10 hours of battery life per charge, and it also comes with 128GB of storage, a microSD card reader for added storage, an HDMI port, two USB-C ports, and a USB-A port. The display measures 12.2 inches and features an IPS touchscreen, along with a front-facing, 720p camera.

It's backed by the cloud-based Chrome OS, and while performance isn't flawless, it's still plenty quick for most casual users, students, and professionals in need of a touchscreen laptop.

External storage devices just keep getting more expensive, which is why every discount is worth considering nowadays, no matter how small. Fortunately, Amazon has just dropped a bunch of storage discounts that aren't small, even if they're not quite to pre-2026 standards.

Whether you want a sturdy Samsung SSD, an all-in-one NAS server, or a compact flash drive to throw into your pocket, there is no shortage of storage discounts to check out at Amazon today.

Indeed, these prices can still be a bummer if you're accustomed to how things were before the current RAM crisis, but if you need more storage for your tech today, this is about as good as it gets. In fact, since prices are continuing to go up for these devices, unless you want to wait another year (at least) to upgrade your storage, I'd jump on these deals while you can.

Fight the global memory shortage with these Back to School storage deals

Why are storage devices so expensive right now?

Storage devices (such as SSDs, HDDs, and DRAM) are getting more expensive because of a global memory shortage caused primarily by the rise of AI data centers. The rapid growth of AI technology has led to a huge demand for memory products, which means there's less supply for consumers. Some devices have seen price increases of 200% or more, so it's important to take advantage of deals whenever you can.

When will the memory shortage end?

No one knows for sure, although most projections have stated that the global RAM shortage will last through 2027 at minimum. Our sister site Tom's Hardware has even reported that the memory crisis will be "even worse" in 2027 than it is this year. In other words, if you need to invest in an external storage device, I'd do it sooner rather than later.

Let's face it: many of us stare at bright screens for a large portion of the day, so it's no wonder folks are trying to find a way to reduce the eye strain from their devices. Nowadays, you might expect an eye-friendly smartphone to cost an arm and a leg, but there's one budget phone that's completely breaking the mold.

Currently 15% off at Amazon, the TCL NXTPAPER 70 Pro is an innovative budget phone with a customizable paper-like display, IP68 build, and solid performance that could rival any midrange device from Samsung or Google. This discount knocks the price of the phone down to only $279.99, which is the same record low we saw during the big Prime Day sale last month. No trade-in required, no strings attached: just good old-fashioned savings on an already-affordable device.

The TCL NXTPAPER 70 Pro boasts a generous 6.9-inch 120Hz display with a textured matte finish, plus you get an efficient MediaTek chip with 8GB of RAM, expandable storage up to 2TB (using microSD), and an IP68 water-and-dust resistance rating, which is a rarity in this price range.

But again, the main selling point with the NXTPAPER 70 Pro is its display. The phone somehow lands between an LCD and E Ink finish, delivering a visual experience that's smooth, customizable, and easy on the eyes. The device lets you choose between four display modes so you can select the best settings for any light, while the 120Hz refresh rate ensures that images always look butter-smooth.

For an Android phone under $400, the NXTPAPER 70 performs quite well in most situations, even if the haptics and software features aren't that impressive on their own. Considering the growing number of users that are affected by PWM sensitivity nowadays, it's amazing that we have an eye-friendly phone that performs great without breaking the bank. This record discount from Amazon is simply the cherry on top.

Good news, Samsung fans: Amazon just dropped some Galaxy S26 deals that are giving me serious Prime Day flashbacks. For a limited time, you can save up to $270 on these super-powered flagships when you buy unlocked, no trade-in required and no strings attached.

The Galaxy S26 lineup includes the base model S26, the balanced Galaxy S26 Plus, and the über-powerful Galaxy S26 Ultra. All three phones are powered by the efficient Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and come with at least 12GB of RAM, a bunch of useful AI features, and seven years of software updates guaranteed. They're also pretty expensive, which is why the following S26 deals are so crucial.
