Samsung may have just increased the Galaxy S26 series' prices by $100 in the U.S., but that doesn't matter much right now, as Amazon has discounted the Galaxy S26 Ultra by a massive 32% during Prime Big Deal Days. That translates to a whopping $450 in savings on one of Samsung's best flagship phones.

If you're in the market for a new Android smartphone and want a no-nonsense flagship experience with built-in privacy features and productivity tools like the S Pen, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is probably one of the best phones you can buy right now. And thanks to Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale, you can grab it at a much lower price than usual.

✅ Recommended if: You want a premium Android flagship with a built-in Privacy Display, powerful cameras, S Pen support, and Samsung's latest Galaxy AI features, especially at $450 off.

❌ Skip this deal if: You prefer smaller phones, don't need the S Pen or Privacy Display, or already own a recent Galaxy S Ultra that still works perfectly well.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra has earned plenty of praise for being one of the best Android smartphones of the year. Not only does Samsung offer top-tier specs, premium materials, and a great design, but the company also introduced one of my favorite smartphone features this year with the Galaxy S26 Ultra: Privacy Display.

With Privacy Display, you no longer need a separate privacy screen protector to keep people from peeking at your phone. The Galaxy S26 Ultra has the technology built directly into its display, allowing you to make the screen difficult to see for people looking from the sides. You can even configure it to activate only for specific apps or when sensitive information appears on the screen, such as notifications or when entering your PIN.

And that's not all. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset, which remains one of the most powerful smartphone processors out there. You also get a capable 200MP main camera on the back, alongside the built-in S Pen that lets you quickly jot down notes or annotate things on the go.

Samsung has packed plenty of Galaxy AI features into the phone as well, including conversational photo editing and Now Nudge. One of my favorite additions, though, is My FanCam, which lets you turn horizontal videos into vertical clips with automatic subject tracking, making it particularly useful for creating social media content.

Following the recent price increase, the Galaxy S26 Ultra now starts at $1,400 in the U.S. But Amazon's $450 discount brings it down to just $950 during Prime Big Deal Days. That's a pretty substantial saving and one of the lowest prices we've seen for Samsung's flagship since the price increase.

If you've ever wanted a pair of smart glasses that give you a massive private screen wherever you go, now might be the perfect time to grab one. The Xreal One Pro is down to just $549 during Prime Big Deal Days, bringing some of the best features you'd want from a pair of AR glasses at a pretty good discount.

Xreal makes some of the best XR glasses out there. The company's upcoming Project Aura Android XR glasses are among the most anticipated smart glasses, and we recently learned that they'll cost a whopping $1,279.

But if you don't want to spend that much and are simply looking for a pair of AR glasses that give you a big private screen, the Xreal One Pro is worth considering, especially now that it's nearly 10% off.

✅ Recommended if: You want a massive private screen for watching movies, gaming, or working while traveling, and need something that works across multiple USB-C devices.

❌ Skip this deal if: You're expecting fully standalone AR glasses with built-in apps, don't have devices that support USB-C video output, or want something that works without a wired connection.

The Xreal One Pro features Sony's micro-OLED display technology with support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The glasses are powered by Xreal's custom X1 spatial computing chip, which enables 3DoF tracking with ultra-low latency of just 3ms.

Xreal claims its optical engine can make it feel like you're watching a massive 171-inch screen from around four meters away, all while keeping the glasses compact and lightweight enough to carry in a small backpack.

One of the best things about the Xreal One Pro is its compatibility with different devices. You can connect the glasses to a wide range of devices that support video output over USB-C, including compatible iPhones, Android phones, Steam Deck, ROG Ally, MacBooks, and Windows laptops.

So, if you want a massive screen for watching movies while flying or even playing games without carrying a separate monitor, these glasses could be a pretty interesting option. Xreal has also taken care of audio, with Sound by Bose built into the glasses, meaning you don't necessarily need to carry an additional pair of Bluetooth earbuds.

Xreal also says the One Pro is better suited for use in brighter environments, thanks to its display brightness of up to 700 nits.

On the whole, if you've been looking for a pair of AR glasses that can give you a huge virtual display without having to carry an actual screen around, the Xreal One Pro is worth checking out. And at $549 during Prime Big Deal Days, you're getting a decent discount on one of Xreal's more capable pairs of glasses.

Samsung may have just launched its new Galaxy Tab S12 series, but you don't need to spend that much to get a great Android tablet experience. Samsung's previous-generation Galaxy Tab S11, which is still a fantastic tablet, is currently 36% off during Prime Big Deal Days, giving you a massive $355 discount.

If you're in the market for a new Android tablet and want a flagship experience with a big AMOLED display, S Pen support, and desktop-level productivity, this Galaxy Tab S11 deal is definitely worth considering.

✅ Recommended if: You want a premium Android tablet with an AMOLED display, included S Pen, expandable storage, and flagship performance without paying Galaxy Tab S12 prices.

❌ Skip this deal if: You already own a recent Galaxy Tab S-series tablet, need the latest hardware, or specifically want the much larger display of Samsung's Ultra models.

If you look around the Android tablet market, you'll rarely find a tablet around this price that offers an AMOLED display, and that's probably the Galaxy Tab S11's biggest strength. Unlike plenty of cheaper tablets that use IPS LCD panels, Samsung gives you an 11-inch AMOLED display, which means richer colors, deeper blacks, and an overall much better experience when watching movies or other content.

Samsung isn't sacrificing performance either. The Galaxy Tab S11 is still powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset and comes with up to 12GB of RAM, so you can throw pretty much anything at this tablet without worrying too much about performance. Whether it's note-taking, gaming, or even some video editing, there's still plenty of power here.

Speaking of note-taking, Samsung bundles the S Pen in the box, so you don't have to spend extra if you want to use the tablet for drawing or taking notes in class. There's also a microSD card slot if you want to expand the storage later.

But one of my favorite things about the Galaxy Tab S11 is still its design. The tablet is only 5.5mm thin while still offering an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, making it easy to carry around without giving up the durability you'd expect from a flagship tablet.

On the whole, if you're looking for an Android tablet with flagship specs that doesn't burn a hole in your pocket, the Galaxy Tab S11 is probably the one I'd look at during Prime Big Deal Days. It still gives you a portable design, plenty of performance, S Pen support, and, most importantly, an AMOLED display that you'll actually enjoy looking at.

Google has started rolling out a new update for the Pixel Buds that brings several new features, and at the same time, the company has slashed $60 off the Pixel Buds Pro 2's price.

Last month, Google started rolling out a feature for Pixel Buds that lets users control their earbuds' settings just by asking Gemini. While you could already ask Gemini to do things like change the volume, the new integration goes much deeper, letting you adjust the EQ, enable or disable ANC, and change other Pixel Buds settings using your voice.

Alongside that, Google has now started rolling out another sizable update for the Pixel Buds Pro, Pixel Buds Pro 2, and Pixel Buds 2a. One of the biggest additions for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 is Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation.

Google previously explained that Dynamic ANC automatically adjusts the noise cancellation based on the seal of the earbuds in your ears. So, if the Pixel Buds move slightly and the seal changes, the earbuds can automatically compensate and adjust the ANC accordingly. That feature is now starting to become available on the Pixel Buds Pro 2.

✅ Recommended if: You use a Pixel phone, want strong ANC and Gemini integration, like Google's latest Pixel Buds features, or want premium wireless earbuds for under $200.

❌ Skip this deal if: You don't use Android, want the absolute best battery life, or don't care about Pixel-exclusive features and ecosystem integration.

Google has also added a new tap-to-mute and unmute gesture for calls. So, if you're in an online meeting or taking a phone call, you can simply tap the surface of your Pixel Buds to quickly mute or unmute your microphone.

The Pixel Buds can now automatically pause media playback when you fall asleep as well. This feature requires a paired Pixel Watch to detect when you've fallen asleep, after which your earbuds can pause playback, disable touch gestures, and silence notifications.

Enhanced Live Translate is also starting to roll out. You can now leave your phone in your pocket and start translating using a gesture on the earbuds. Google says the Pixel Buds now work more seamlessly with the Google Translate app to make on-the-go translations easier.

To get these features, make sure you're running the latest version of the Pixel Buds app and look for firmware version release_6.144. You can also manually check for the update by heading to More Settings > Firmware > Check for updates.

And if you've been thinking about buying the Pixel Buds Pro 2, this might be a particularly good time. Thanks to the ongoing Amazon sale, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are currently $60 off, dropping from their usual $230 price to just $170.

So, not only are you getting them for considerably less right now, but Google has also made the Pixel Buds Pro 2 noticeably more capable with the latest software update.

At a time when most devices are getting price increases, TCL has been releasing Android phones and tablets that are surprisingly affordable, fun to use, and perhaps most importantly, quite innovative. If you're concerned about eye health, TCL's NXTPAPER series has some of the best devices around, and now the company's offerings are up to 35% off at Amazon for a limited time.

TCL's NXTPAPER devices utilize unique displays that sit somewhere between E Ink and LCD technology. The screens have matte layers that reduce eye strain and blue light exposure, plus you get multiple display settings that let you customize the overall visual experience. Protecting your eye health doesn't come at the expense of user experience, however, as many of TCL's phones and tablets come with premium features such as 120Hz refresh ratings and IP68 durability.

Just days before Amazon's Big Deal Days sale kicks off on October 6th, the retailer is slashing prices on a bunch of this TCL tech, with deals that include 15% off the NXTPAPER 70 Pro and a whopping 35% off the TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus tablet. These are some of our favorite cheap Android devices around, and this sale makes them even cheaper — so what are you waiting for? Let's jump in.

FAQ

What is Prime Big Deal Days?

Just like July's Prime Day and the Big Spring Sale in March, Prime Big Deal Days is yet another sitewide sale event for Prime members only. This October event showcases some of the season's best deals across a wide variety of product categories, from phones and tablets to clothes and kitchen appliances. Amazon's Big Deal Days also signals the start of fall sale season, giving shoppers an early look at what to expect when the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales go live in November.

What Samsung Galaxy devices will go on sale during Big Deal Days?

If you like to buy your Samsung phones and other devices unlocked, October Prime Day is an excellent time to do so. For starters, I'm expecting that we'll see the entire Samsung Galaxy S26 series get heavily discounted as part of the sale. The flagship phones received discounts as high as 30% during the official Prime Day event last July, so you can pretty much guarantee that the price will drop that low (or even lower) once Big Deal Days kicks off on October 6th.

The latest Samsung foldable phones (including the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8) are also sure to receive record-smashing discounts as part of the sale, in addition to the latest Samsung smartwatches, tablets, TVs, and more. I'd also keep a special eye out for discounts on Samsung SSDs, as storage devices remain in high demand due to the ongoing RAM crisis.

Do I need to be a Prime member to shop during Prime Big Deal Days?

Yep, as with all of Amazon's sitewide sale events, the best deals during Prime Big Deal Days will be exclusive to Amazon Prime members. If you're not a member yet, it's worth mentioning that the retailer offers a 30-day free trial so you can explore all of the benefits of Prime without paying a thing.

Don't want to support Amazon? You're in luck: the retailer's biggest competitors (think Best Buy, Walmart, and Target) typically launch rival sales to coincide with October Prime Day, so you might be able to match Amazon's prices without breaking a sweat.

Amazon's Big Deal Days sale returns October 6-7, which means we're just days away from seeing some of the best Google Pixel deals of the year. Whether you're shopping for an AI-boosted Pixel 11 or a stylish Pixel Watch 5, Amazon's October Prime Day sale event is expected to slash prices on nearly all of Google's latest tech, along with a few iconic last-gen devices.

What specifically can you expect when the deals go live? Are there any early offers available? I've been covering sale events just like this one for years, and I can tell you exactly what you need to know about shopping Google Pixel tech during Amazon Big Deal Days.

The biggest thing to consider today is whether or not your Amazon Prime subscription is active. Most of the best Pixel deals during Amazon's sale will be exclusive to Prime members, so make sure you're logged in before you start shopping. Not a member yet? Amazon is running a 30-day free trial that lets you explore all of the benefits of a Prime membership (including access to exclusive deals) without paying a cent.

FAQ

What is Prime Big Deal Days?

Big Deal Days is Amazon's way of bringing the complete Prime Day experience into the fall season. From October 6th through the 7th, the retailer will be slashing prices on everything from clothing and kitchen appliances to Android tech, and all you'll need is a Prime membership. The sale also marks the beginning of fall sale season, giving shoppers an early look at upcoming Black Friday and Cyber Monday offerings.

What Google Pixel deals can I expect during Prime Big Deal Days?

Prime Day events like Big Deal Days typically showcase discounts on a wide range of Google products, from smartphones to wearables. This time around, I'd expect some hefty discounts on the entire Google Pixel 11 lineup. The prices on the flagship phones haven't dipped much since their August launch, so I'm anticipating discounts as high as 20% off or more once the sale begins in earnest.

You can also expect the Pixel Watch 5 to get its first-ever discount, while last-gen Google devices like the Pixel Watch 4 and Google Pixel 10a are almost certain to see some historic price drops as well.

Do I need to be a Prime member to shop during Prime Big Deal Days?

Yep. Just like other Prime Day events, the vast majority of deals during Big Deal Days will be exclusive to Prime members. If you haven't signed up yet, Amazon offers a 30-day free trial that lets you enjoy all of the benefits of Prime (including unlimited streaming, free shipping, and access to exclusive deals) without paying a cent. Once the free trial is up, Prime memberships start at just $14.99 per month with the ability to cancel at any time.

If you simply don't want to add another subscription to your monthly bills, it's also worth mentioning that Amazon's biggest rivals — such as Best Buy, Walmart, and Target — are also expected to launch their own competing sales around the same time. These sale events are sure to match (or even surpass) Amazon's discounts, and they typically don't require a membership.

Amazon's next big sale event is only a week away, but you don't need to wait until Big Deal Days on October 6th to find some stellar deals on Amazon brand devices. Whether you want a new tablet, TV, or smart home device, Amazon's early October Prime Day sale is discounting dozens of great devices across its site, and most of them don't even require a Prime membership.

I'm talking about deals like 53% off the popular Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet, or this offer that drops the newest Amazon Echo Show 5 down to just 60 bucks (a 40% discount). Keep reading for more of my top picks, and don't forget to check back later to see what's new: I'll be adding more Fire deals to this collection as they go live.

Amazon Big Deal Days kicks off on October 6th and runs through the 7th. Like I mentioned above, most of the best deals during the sale will be exclusive to Prime members. If you haven't joined yet, you can easily shop all of the best discounts for free by signing up for Amazon's 30-day free trial.

Tablets

Streaming & TVs

I'm one of those people who believes that we don't need a new generation of smartphones every year (can we take 2027 off please?), but this trend does come in handy when you're on the hunt for Motorola Razr Ultra deals.

Order last year's Motorola Razr Ultra (2025) unlocked from Best Buy today, for instance, and you'll get a straight $600 off your purchase, no trade-in required and no strings attached. This is an excellent clamshell device that still holds its own against many of the best foldable phones on the market, but since it's officially "last-gen", discounts like this are becoming more common.

Will the price drop even further when Amazon's Big Spring Sale kicks off next week? It's hard to say for certain, but I wouldn't worry about feeling any FOMO once the deals go live on October 6th: $600 off is an impressive discount no matter how you look at it.

We called the Razr Ultra (2025) the 'flip phone, nearly perfected' in last year's 4.5/5-star review, and most of this praise still rings true today. Straight out of the box, you'll find two gorgeous pOLED displays (7-inch internal, 4-inch external) with a titanium-reinforced hinge and a premium vegan leather finish.

Under the hood, the Razr Ultra (2025) is equipped with an all-day 4,700mAh battery, 16GB of RAM, and the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, in addition to 512GB of onboard storage.

How does the 2025 foldable compare to this year's Motorola Razr Ultra (2026)? Well, the newer phone adds an upgrade to the camera system and a larger battery without affecting the weight, plus a few new finishes that look great. That's about it. Both phones share the same processor, they have identical charging speeds, and there's no change to the display technology.

Iterative upgrades between smartphone generations are hardly uncommon in this day and age, but the Razr Ultra (2026) is selling for a jaw-dropping $1,499.99 right now. There is no universe in which I could recommend the 2026 flip phone when the nearly-identical Motorola Razr Ultra (2025) is selling for $800 cheaper at Best Buy.

Needless to say, unless you simply have to have the latest and greatest devices on the market, grab the 2025 Razr Ultra while it's on sale. You won't be disappointed.

Amazon's Big Deal Days sale kicks off on October 6th, which means a lot of our readers will be on the hunt for the next great tablet, smartwatch, and Android phone deal. The problem is, just like the regular Prime Day event in July, many of the best deals during the Amazon sale will be exclusive to Prime members.

A large number of shoppers already have Prime memberships, but if you don't want to add yet another monthly subscription to your budget, there is a way to shop all of the best October Prime Day deals for free.

The Amazon Prime free trial lasts 30 days and gives you full access to all of the benefits of a Prime membership, including unlimited streaming, fuel discounts, and yes, exclusive discounts during Big Deal Days on October 6th and 7th.

That means that you could sign up for Amazon's free trial today, shop to your heart's content during the sale, and cancel your membership once Big Deal Days wraps up, all without paying a cent.

What is Prime Big Deal Days?

Big Deal Days is Amazon's attempt at bringing the excitement of July's Prime Day sale into early October (which is why I often call it 'October Prime Day'). Now that it's been around for a few years, it also signals the beginning of the fall sale season, giving shoppers an opportunity to knock out some of their holiday shopping early.

Just like the Prime Day event held in July, many of the best deals during Big Deal Days will be exclusive to Prime members, so consider using Amazon's free trial if you haven't signed up already.

When is Prime Big Deal Days?

Prime Big Deal Days is scheduled for October 6th and 7th this year, giving Prime members 48 hours to explore a bounty of exclusive deals on everything from TVs and smartphones to clothing and kitchen appliances.

What deals can I expect during Prime Big Deal Days?

Sales like Prime Day and Big Deal Days often present excellent opportunities to get Android tech for cheap. It also gives us an early look at what to expect when the Black Friday deals start kicking off in November.

This year, expect solid discounts on foldable phones and flagships from Samsung and Google. I expect the Pixel 11 series, in particular, to get some good discounts, in addition to phones like the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Fold 8. You can also expect SSD and NAS storage devices to get some good deals as the current RAM shortage continues on.

What if I don't want to support Amazon during Prime Big Deal Days?

If you'd rather not support Amazon at all, it's worth noting that the retailer's biggest competitors — such as Best Buy, Walmart, and Target — usually launch their own rival sales at the same time as the Prime Day event. These sale events will often match (or even surpass) Amazon's discounts, and they rarely require a membership to enjoy the full savings.

Motorola deals are hardly uncommon, but if you're a Verizon customer, you may have noticed that a few key models are missing from the carrier's store. Fortunately, that changes today, as Verizon just added some new 2026 Razr phones to its site with some excellent discounts to boot.

Whether you want the groundbreaking Motorola Razr Fold, the crowd-pleasing Razr Plus, or an exclusive variant of the standard Motorola Razr (2026), September's Verizon deals spell great news for Android users and foldable phone fans alike. Just be aware that most of the new offers require a trade-in to receive the full discount, so get ready to dig up those old devices.

Need a new smartwatch? Verizon has also started carrying the Moto Watch Ultra, and you can get this sleek wearable for free when you bundle the purchase with a Motorola phone. Needless to say, things are clearly changing over at Verizon, and Motorola fans should take note.

Verizon just got some new Motorola phones in stock - don't miss these deals

Amazon doesn't refresh its tablets and e-readers every year because it doesn't need to. The Kindle tablet series is wildly popular year round, because there's no other brand delivering such value-packed products at prices as low as Amazon. What's even more awesome is that Amazon is kicking off a few October Prime Day deals ahead of Big Deal Days, slashing more than half off the Fire HD 10 (2023) tablet.

Retailing for $154.99, the Fire HD 10 was already an insanely cheap 10-inch tablet. This 53% discount chops it down to an unbelievably low $72.99 on Amazon, but only for a limited time. The large 10.1-inch Full HD LCD display with a crisp 1920 x 1200 resolution makes this an ideal tablet for adults as well as children, which is why we named it the best cheap Android tablet for kids in 2026.

✅Recommended if: you want a cheap Amazon Fire tablet below $100 for streaming, gaming, or as a shared smart display for a family household; you need something with a battery life of over 12 hours; you want something that includes expandable storage.

❌Skip this deal if: you prefer a thin and lightweight build; you need higher quality cameras.

Although this deal is for the 32GB version of the device, the Fire HD 10 supports expandable storage via microSD, and you can add up to 1TB of storage. The uptime is superb, giving you about 13 hours of battery life per charge, and there are 5MP cameras on both the front and rear that are good enough for basic needs like video calls.

The tablet has easy-to-use parental controls for shared device usage and is compatible with the separately sold Amazon stylus.

One of the Fire HD 10's rarer features is the 3.5mm audio jack, allowing you to plug in headphones. It also sports dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, so the auditory experience when streaming your favorite TV shows or movies is fabulous.

The Amazon tablet is powered by an octa-core processor and 4GB RAM, which may not sound like much, but actually manages to perform well in real life. In fact, you'll be delightfully taken aback by how decently the Amazon Fire HD 10 2023 handles multitasking, light office work, and even some gaming.

It's official: the Googlebook is coming, and while this laptop isn't receiving as many preorder deals as, say, a new Android phone might, there is one offer that you should know about. Preorder one of the new laptops ahead of their October 4th release date and Best Buy will give you a free pair of Google Pixel Buds 2a (in Hazel), no strings attached. There's also some trade-in credit up for grabs if you have an old laptop lying around.

Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo are all launching their Googlebooks on the aforementioned date, and this preorder deal from Best Buy presents an easy way to get equipped with two pieces of Pixel tech in one fell swoop. Now if they'll just throw in a free Google Pixel phone, it will really be a party...

What is a Googlebook?

Designed as a successor to Chromebooks, Googlebooks are laptops built for integration into the modern AI-focused device ecosystem. These premium laptops feature touchscreen displays with great battery life (up to 14 hours) and the latest processors from Intel and Qualcomm, plus you'll get to experience a ton of new software features that seamlessly connect the Googlebook with your Android phone.

Other specs include backlit keyboards, convertible designs, and 16GB of RAM out of the box. Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo are all participating in the initial Googlebook launch, with devices that range from $899 to $1,299 for OLED models. In addition to the free wireless earbuds, your preorder will come with free limited subscriptions to YouTube Premium, Adobe Premiere, and Google AI Pro subscriptions.

Tech keeps getting more and more expensive, but that doesn't mean that you can't find the occasional cheap Android phone deal if you know where to look. Grab the unlocked Nothing Phone (4a) Pro from Amazon today, for example, and you'll get a straight $50 off your purchase. That knocks the price of the midrange masterpiece down to just $449!

The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro easily holds its own against midrange Android phones like the Google Pixel 10a and the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, blending eye-catching design and a 144Hz AMOLED display with efficient Snapdragon performance and a large 5,080mAh battery.

This deal comes just a few weeks before Amazon's Big Deal Days sale on October 6th and 7th, but why wait for Prime Day when you can score a discount on a great cheap Android phone today? After all, it's unlikely that the price will dip much further when the sale begins in earnest, and you run the risk of stock selling out if you wait too long.

• Prime Big Deal Days returns October 6-7: see the full list of early deals

Reviewer Nick Sutrich called the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro the 'only $499 phone I'd buy' in his 4.5/5-star review earlier this year, and looking at the specs, it isn't hard to see why. The cheap Android phone boasts incredible build quality with one of the best-looking designs in the business, plus you get a gorgeous 144Hz AMOLED display with PWM dimming, plenty of on-device AI features, and six years of software support guaranteed.

The 128GB configuration of the phone also comes with 8GB of RAM, while the 256GB version will increase that to 12GB. Constructed from a metal unibody with an IP65 resistance rating, the Phone (4a) Pro also features a large 5,080mAh battery that will easily last over a day on a single charge, while unique features like Essential Space and Nothing Playground ensure that you're getting a flagship-quality software experience without paying a flagship price.

As far as hardware is concerned, the Phone (4a) Pro utilizes a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset that falls a bit behind the Google Pixel 10a's Tensor G4 when looking at peak performance, but it's crucial to note that the Snapdragon CPU performs more efficiently over longer periods of time. The Pixel 10a, on the other hand, is known to overheat, making it less reliable for regular daily use.

Each phone has their own strengths and weaknesses, but if I was trying to decide between the Pixel 10a and the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, I'd choose the device that takes risks over the same-old, same-old.

Let's face it: we spend a lot of time staring at screens, so it's no wonder that many folks are searching for devices that utilize eye-friendly display technology. TCL is a leading manufacturer in this regard, and you can get one of their best phones for FREE by adding a line with an eligible data plan at Total Wireless.

The last-gen TCL 50 XL NXTPAPER 5G boasts a 6.78-inch eye-friendly display with a 120Hz refresh rate and multiple display modes, making it ideal for users with PWM sensitivity. The matte, paper-like finish of the screen is perfect for reducing glare and eye strain, while the RGB sensor automatically adjusts the color temperature depending on the time of day. The TCL 50 XL also comes with an SD slot for expandable storage, 8GB of RAM, and a 5,100mAh battery, all of which are rare specs for a phone in this price range.

The Total Max 5G plan starts at $50 per month for a single line with AutoPay, although the price drops a lot when you add multiple lines. The plan gives you unlimited talk, text, and 5G Ultra Wideband data on Verizon's vast network, plus you get an unlimited mobile hotspot and free calling to and from Mexico included in the package.

Your plan also comes with a 5-year price guarantee and no confusing contracts or hidden fees to worry about. As an MVNO carrier, what you see is what you get, even if Total Wireless doesn't have as many perks as some premium unlimited plans.

TCL proves that the latest innovations in display technology don't have to cost an arm and a leg, and now that they've partnered up with Total Wireless, protecting your long-term vision health is easier (and more affordable) than ever before.

If you're sick of paying an arm and a leg for wireless, there's a Mint Mobile deal that you should be checking out immediately. For a limited time, the T-Mobile-owned carrier is dropping all of its data plans down to just $15 per month, regardless of the plan length or data allotment. And yes, that includes Mint's popular unlimited tier.

This Mint Mobile deal has been available for a while, but the carrier is planning to officially retire the promotion on September 30th. That means you have less than a week to sign up before the wireless plans return to their original price.

The only catch is that, due to Mint's buy-in-bulk plan system, you will have to pay for a minimum of three months to enjoy the savings. That shakes out to just $45 upfront for three months of unlimited talk, text, and data on T-Mobile's network, which is still pretty impressive when you compare the costs with other phone plans.

Mint Mobile operates with a unique buy-in-bulk plan system that lets you purchase wireless in 3, 6, and 12-month increments of time. This deal knocks all of its data plans down to the same price, including Unlimited, which means you can secure yourself up to a year of unlimited wireless and it'll only cost you $180 upfront.

Mint's plans give you coverage on T-Mobile's vast 5G network, plus you'll get a free mobile hotspot and calling to Mexico, Canada, and the UK. Sure, the MVNO's offerings aren't quite as comprehensive as some unlimited plans, but if cost is your main concern, you can't do much better than Mint.

Need a new phone too?

Fall sale season is swiftly approaching, but you apparently don't need to wait to score some exceptional Chromebook deals from Best Buy. For a limited time, the iconic retailer is slashing up to $250 off laptops from manufacturers like Lenovo, HP, ASUS, and Acer, making Amazon's upcoming Big Deal Days sale (October 6-7) feel a bit superfluous.

The devices on sale are no slouches, either. Some of the best Chromebooks we've ever tested are seeing hefty discounts at Best Buy right now, from the versatile Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 (currently $220 off) to the no-frills HP 14" Chromebook ($170 off). Our favorite Chromebook on the market today, the excellent Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14, is even included in the offerings with a hefty $250 discount. Whether you want a new laptop for class, work, or entertainment, there's sure to be a discounted Chromebook that will meet your needs.

Of course, the big question now is whether prices will drop even further when the big sales commence next month. It's tough to say, but the current deals are good enough that you shouldn't feel any FOMO if you simply can't wait. Keep reading for my top recommendations from Best Buy's Chromebook sale.

Samsung's foldable phones are more popular than ever before, and retailers all across the web are trying to capitalize on this success by dropping some pretty great Galaxy Z Fold 8 deals ahead of fall sale season.

The offers from Verizon and T-Mobile are particularly impressive this time around, but which Z Fold 8 deal is best? Well, as always with carrier deals, the answer isn't exactly straightforward. Let's break it down.

How do the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 deals compare?

T-Mobile:

For starters, it's important to note that, in the world of phone deals, nothing is ever truly free. Yes, play your cards right and T-Mobile won't charge you anything for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, but you'll still need to pay for the wireless. The Experience Beyond plan starts at $105 per month for a single line, although you can drop that price down considerably by adding multiple lines and using AutoPay.

It also helps that it's one of the best unlimited plans in the business, providing unlimited coverage and premium data with a mobile hotspot, free streaming subscriptions, and a ton of international benefits.

You'll also need to trade in an old or broken device to receive the full savings. At this time, Samsung phones dating back to the Galaxy S23 Plus will earn you the max credit, in addition to a number of devices from OEMs like Apple and Google. Check T-Mobile's product page for the full list of phones.

Verizon:

Verizon is actually keeping things pretty simple with its Galaxy Z Fold 8 deal. New customers who bundle the device with the carrier's Simplicity plan will only pay $59.98 per month for 48 months.

The plan in question gets you unlimited talk, text, and 5G Ultra Wideband data, plus you'll get 10GB of mobile hotspot data and coverage in Mexico and Canada. The benefits aren't as comprehensive as T-Mobile's Experience Beyond plan, but if you just want some straightforward wireless coverage, Verizon's Simplicity plan is a great deal.

No trade-in is required, although you'll need to be a new customer and use AutoPay to enjoy the full discount. Existing Verizon customers can enjoy the same deal, but the rate will increase to $85 per month.

So which Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 deal is best?

✅Choose T-Mobile's deal if: you have a device to trade-in; you're a heavy data user and you want to experience one of the best unlimited plans in wireless; you live in an area with good T-Mobile coverage.

✅Choose Verizon's deal if: you're looking to switch wireless carriers; you don't need all of the bells and whistles included in some unlimited plans; you live in an area with good Verizon coverage.

You probably wouldn't have noticed unless you're constantly searching for Samsung and Google Pixel phone deals like I am, but Verizon has had a noticeable shortage of offers over the past few weeks.

Fortunately, it looks like the lull has come to an end, as the Big Three carrier just launched a promotion that will give you a FREE Google Pixel 11 Pro when you add a line with the Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plan.

Meet the Google Pixel 11 Pro

The Pixel 11 Pro wasn't a dramatic transformation for Google, but I'm certain it'll still end up on our list of the best Android phones of 2026. The compact flagship comes equipped with a vibrant 6.3-inch OLED 120Hz display and the new HiLight LED array for notifications, while under the hood you get a powerful Tensor G6 chipset with 12GB of RAM, some upgraded camera hardware, and the advanced Titan M3 security coprocessor.

As one would expect from Google, the Pixel 11 Pro also features the latest AI-boosted software features and seven years of OS and security upgrades, plus you get Qi2.2 charging support and a thinner and lighter form factor than ever before.

The problem is that this lighter build results in a smaller battery than last year's Pixel 10 Pro, and Google still wasn't able to escape the rampant price increases that have been plaguing the industry. Still, the Pro remains one of the best phones that Google has ever produced, the price hike just means that deals like this Verizon offer are more essential than ever before.

Why is this Verizon deal important?

This Verizon deal is notable for two reasons. First off, it doesn't require a trade-in, which is always a plus. Secondly, you don't have to sign up for the carrier's most expensive data plan to receive the full savings. Unlimited Plus is a nice mid-tier option that's perfect for folks who want the premium plan experience without paying the premium price.

It starts at $80 per month for a single line (using AutoPay and paperless billing), but you can drop that price down significantly by adding multiple lines at once. Unlimited Plus gets you unlimited talk, text, and 5G Ultra Wideband data on Verizon's vast network, 30GB of premium mobile hotspot, and the ability to mix and match additional perks every month for as little as $10 each.

You can also pay a bit more for Verizon's premium Unlimited Ultimate plan, which lands you all of the perks above in addition to 4K video streaming, international coverage, and more.

If you're already a Verizon customer or planning to switch, this deal presents an easy way to get one of the industry's best unlimited plans AND one of the best Android phones for as little hassle as possible. It won't be for everyone, but unless you plan to buy the phone unlocked, it's one of the simplest Pixel 11 deals around.

Deals on smart glasses can be hard to find, but Amazon attempting to change all of that with its latest offers. Weeks ahead of the Big Deal Days sale (sometimes known as October Prime Day), the retailer is offering the Viture Pro 2 XR smart glasses at a 21% discount, marking $81 off the normal purchase price and bringing them back to their lowest price ever recorded.

These are a good pick for anyone looking to use their AR glasses for gaming, watching movies and TV shows, traveling, or other AR-based activities. They also have the benefit of selling for far less than many other smart glasses options, making them a budget-friendly pick as well.

They also come with adjustable frames, three different nose pad sizes, and seven fit customization options overall. To be sure, these aren't the most powerful or versatile smart glasses ever built, but for most casual users consuming media or tackling simple work tasks, they're a great pick.

• Prime Big Deal Days returns Oct 6-7: see the full list of deals

✅Recommended if: you're looking for XR smart glasses that feature a user-friendly UI and a nice display without having to break the bank; you want a pair of glasses with a good portable case and easy stowability, as well as adjustable frames that make them extra comfortable; you want XR glasses that will work for Switch 2 gaming or other console gaming, and you have a budget of around $300.

❌Skip this deal if: you'd rather upgrade to a pair of smart glasses that are better suited for work tasks than for gaming or watching movies; you're looking for smart glasses with high-quality built-in speakers; you mostly want AR or XR smart glasses for reading and want something that will offer a good user experience when doing so.

The Viture Pro 2 glasses feature an expanded field of view from the previous generation, now offering 50 degrees and offering a less limited screen. Viture's glasses also boast some of the best XR smart glasses ecosystems in the game, offering a nice experience for users.

These boast a 1,600 nit brightness level, 1080p resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and they also feature filters for blue light, a more cinematic aesthetic, and a bright display.

There are a ton of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 deals on the web right now. Whether you're looking for a trade-in opportunity or a straight discount on an unlocked phone, stiff competition in the foldable space means there has never been a better time to pick up one of these innovative devices. That said, if you're looking for a different type of deal, Mint Mobile has you covered.

Bundle the purchase of the new Galaxy Z Flip 8 with one year of the unlimited plan and you'll get $200 off the phone and 50% off the wireless, knocking your total payment down to $1,180 (or $99 per month using affirm). Considering that the retail cost of the Z Flip 8 usually starts at $1,200, you're essentially getting a FREE year of unlimited T-Mobile-powered wireless, courtesy of Mint Mobile. And hey, there's a little $20 discount in there too.

Mint Mobile's unlimited plan gives you unlimited talk, text, and data on T-Mobile's legendary 5G network, plus you get a free mobile hotspot and calls to Mexico, Canada, and the UK. It's not the most comprehensive unlimited plan I've ever used, but if you like to keep things simple, this deal presents an easy way to avoid paying your phone bill for an entire year.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 is worth the price of entry too, coming complete with a foldable clamshell design, two gorgeous AMOLED displays, and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset for powerful performance. The phone also comes equipped with 12GB of RAM, an upgraded 4,300mAh battery, and a thinner and lighter build than ever before.

Sure, this deal isn't for everyone. Some folks may miss the premium features offered by some unlimited plans, while others might be looking for a trade-in opportunity to could make the Galaxy Z Flip 8 even cheaper upfront. But if you have the cash lying around and you want to score a year of wireless and a great flip phone in one fell swoop, now's your chance.

Fall's Big Deal Days sale at Amazon isn't quite here yet, but the retailer is already offering some great smartwatch deals ahead of the event. As one example, Amazon is already offering the 2023 Garmin Venu 3 at a 35% discount, along with a bunch of other early price drops for the upcoming sale.

The Garmin Venu 3 is a 2023 release, but it still includes a 14-day battery life, accurate health sensors, and a bright, good-looking display that still holds up quite well in 2026. It's not as bright or powerful as the newer Venu 4, but the differences are marginal enough to justify going with the lower-priced option here.

This particular discount is for the 45mm configuration of the watch. If you're more keen on the smaller 41mm version, or the 45mm in white, Amazon is also offering similar price drops on those, so it might be worth clicking around a bit.

✅Recommended if: you want a fitness watch with a long-lasting battery, features like GPS, HR monitoring, sleep data, and more; you have a budget of around $300 for an Android smartwatch; you need a watch with a useful, easy-to-read display.

❌Skip this deal if: you'd rather upgrade to the newer Venu 4 for its updated aesthetic, accuracy, dual-band GPS, and the latest training tools; you need a watch with an LTE-capable configuration; you prefer to get wearables with support for newer technology, such as Garmin's new Health Status app.

The Garmin Venu 3 is a solid pick for those who aren't concerned with dual-band GPS, though our tests confirmed that it still offered fairly accurate tracking capabilities back in 2023. It also offers a more discreet and versatile design than many of Garmin's watches, in my opinion, making it a solid affordable option that won't look or feel clunky on your wrist.

Garmin says the watch will net users up to 14 days of battery life in smartwatch mode, and the 1.4-inch AMOLED display on the 45mm is large and vibrant, without sacrificing battery. In any case, if you're a new or intermediate athlete who is ready to upgrade from an even older device, this deal might be one worth considering.

Amazon's 48-hour Big Deal Days sale kicks off on October 6th, but the retailer has wasted no time in dropping some of its Garmin watch deals early. Whether you want the sleek Venu 3S or the ready-for-anything Garmin Instinct 3 Solar, you don't need to wait for October Prime Day to score a great deal on some of the best fitness watches around.

Garmin has been a leading manufacturer of fitness watches for years, providing wearable solutions for every level of athlete and every budget under the sun. These smartwatches are tough and reliable, full of premium features like AMOLED displays, military-grade durability ratings, and all of the health and fitness tracking features you could ever need.

The early Prime Day deals even extend to the Venu 4, which is our favorite Garmin watch on the market today. Will prices drop even further when Amazon's sale begins in earnest? It's hard to say, but if you need a new fitness smartwatch ASAP, you can rest easy knowing that you scored a great deal weeks before everyone else.

What is the best Garmin watch?

We consider the Garmin Venu 4 to be the best overall Garmin watch for most people in 2026. While it may not be for the world's most advanced fitness device, the watch is an impressive all-rounder, covering most of the bases for beginners and experienced athletes alike. You get a bright OLED display with 5ATM water resistance, while the case and bezels are constructed from durable stainless steel and reinforced polymer materials.

Moreover, the Venu 4 comes equipped with a bounty of premium software features under the hood, including multi-band GPS and NFC support in addition to accurate tracking for heart rate, ECG, SpO2, and beyond. The watch also comes with Garmin-exclusive features like Body Battery and Evening Report, plus you get a built-in flashlight, dozens of pre-installed sports modes, and up to 12 days of battery life on a single charge. The Venu 4 is Garmin's 'everything but the kitchen sink' watch, and for most athletes, that's a very good thing.

These days, buying a cheap Android phone doesn't have to feel like a downgrade, particularly when you pair the device with a great deal on wireless. For a limited time, Metro by T-Mobile will give you a FREE Samsung Galaxy A17 when you pair the purchase of the budget device with any 5G Unlimited plan starting at just $40 per month. No trade-in is required, and all taxes and fees are included in the price.

Sure, there are plenty of carrier deals that will land you a free Samsung phone, but few offers are this affordable or straightforward. The only catch is that, since it's a prepaid carrier, Metro by T-Mobile's service could be deprioritized if you use over 35GB per month. That means that heavy data users may have to deal with slower speeds if the network is congested. Otherwise, if you simply want unlimited wireless and a solid Samsung phone for as little hassle as possible, this Metro by T-Mobile deal deserves your immediate attention.

All of the wireless plans included in Metro by T-Mobile's promotion provide unlimited talk, text, and data on T-Mobile's vast 5G network, plus you get a five-year price guarantee and access to exclusive weekly discounts via T-Mobile Tuesdays.

Upgrade to one of Metro's higher-level unlimited plans and you'll get all of the perks mentioned above along with benefits like mobile hotspot data, Google One memberships, and more. Even if you go with Metro's top-tier Unlimited Premium 5G Data plan, you'll never pay more than $60 per month, all taxes and fees included.

The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G, for its part, is a $200 phone that punches well above its weight class, introducing an upgraded camera system, 6.7-inch AMOLED display, and a large 5,000mAh battery. You even get six years of guaranteed software updates, which is a rarity for a device in this price range.

Samsung's A series has spent years proving that you don't need to spend and arm and a leg to enjoy the complete Galaxy experience. Sure, it may not be the most powerful phone on the market (and Metro's data plan may not be the most comprehensive), but if you simply want cheap, reliable wireless and a phone that you can count on for years to come, this carrier deal shouldn't be overlooked.

Foldable phones are clearly having a moment, and if you're gearing up to buy your first-ever clamshell device, there's one T-Mobile deal that you simply must know about. Add a line with the Experience Beyond plan and the carrier will hook you up with enough promo credits to make the excellent Motorola Razr Plus (2026) completely free! That's like getting $1,100 back over 36 months, no trade-in required.

Even if you don't want to sign up for T-Mobile's top-tier Experience Beyond plan, the carrier is guaranteeing $600 off with 'most plans' on its website, plus there are some trade-in opportunities available if you'd rather go that route. The Motorola Razr Plus (2026) is one of the best foldable phones I've ever used, and now you can get your own for free with very little hassle. Why wait for the iPhone Duo when Motorola already has a tried-and-tested device like this?

• See my guide to the best T-Mobile deals of September 2026

✅ Recommended if: you want a balanced flip phone with a sleek, sophisticated design, snappy performance, and impressive camera tech; you're a heavy data user looking for a new phone plan.

❌ Skip this deal if: you're looking for a cheap phone plan; you can afford the Motorola Razr Ultra (2026); you're interested in a book-style foldable phone like the Razr Fold, Z Fold 8, or iPhone Duo.

Motorola has been making flip phones for years, and while it didn't release a book-style foldable until May 2026, the success of the company's long-running Razr series proves that no other OEM understands the folding hinge quite like Moto. The Razr Plus (2026) is a culmination of everything Motorola has learned from producing these devices, boasting a durable titanium-reinforced hinge, two stunning AMOLED displays, and a larger battery than ever before.

The phone also boasts a solid Snapdragon processor, 12GB of RAM, and five years of software updates guaranteed. True, it's not as powerful as the Motorola Razr Ultra (2026), but if you've ever used the Razr Plus (2024) or Razr Plus (2025), you'll recognize the 2026 version as a true refinement of everything that made past generations so great. At a starting retail price of $1,099.99, Razr Plus (2026) is also cheaper than both the Razr Ultra (2026) and Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 8.

The Experience Beyond plan, for its part, comes with unlimited talk, text, and premium data on T-Mobile's vast 5G network, plus you get a ton of international benefits and an unlimited mobile hotspot. The unlimited plan even comes with early device upgrades and free streaming subscriptions to Hulu and Netflix. Experience Beyond starts at $105/month for a single line, although you can make the monthly cost significantly cheaper by adding multiple lines and using AutoPay/paperless billing.

Amazon has confirmed that its next Prime Big Deal Days sale event will occur on October 6th and 7th, but you don't need to wait to score an incredible Google Pixel phone deal. For a limited time, the retailer is slashing $200 off the unlocked Google Pixel 10 Pro, knocking the price of the last-gen flagship down to just $799. That makes it $100 cheaper than the base model Google Pixel 11 and $300 cheaper than the new Pixel 11 Pro!

Some folks may be hesitant to purchase a last-gen smartphone, even at a discount, but I can confidently say that the Google Pixel 10 Pro still holds its own against the best Android phones on the market. That said, there are a few drawbacks that you should consider before taking the leap. Is this Pixel 10 Pro deal right for you? Let's break it down.

• Prime Big Deal Days returns Oct 6-7: see the 20+ best early deals available now

The Pixel 10 Pro boasts a gorgeous 6.3-inch pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while under the hood you get 16GB of RAM, an efficient Tensor G5 chipset, and all of the versatile AI-boosted camera tech that Google is known for. The phone also got a boost to its battery life compared to its predecessor, plus you'll enjoy faster charging speeds with Qi2 magnetic charging support.

So what's the catch? Well, with Big Deal Days and Black Friday just around the corner, there's a good chance that the price of the Pixel 10 Pro will dip even further in the coming weeks. That said, there's an equally good chance that the Pixel 10 Pro will completely sell out before that time.

If you've been interested in this particular phone for a while, I'd take your chances and place the order today. The Pixel 10 Pro is a great device, after all, and the six remaining software updates ensure that the phone won't feel obsolete any time soon. If, on the other hand, you're simply looking for a great Pixel phone and you're in no hurry to make a purchase, it might be worth waiting a bit to see what the fall sale season has in store for the Pixel 11 lineup.

Mint Mobile FAQ

How does Mint Mobile work?

Mint Mobile offers a straightforward buy-in-bulk plan system that lets you purchase wireless in 3, 6, and 12-month increments of time. There are four data plans to choose from: 5GB, 15GB, 20GB, and Unlimited, all of which give you coverage on T-Mobile's vast 5G network, along with a free mobile hotspot, unlimited talk and text, and coverage in Mexico, Canada, and the UK.

How much does Mint Mobile cost?

Mint Mobile's wireless plans start at $15 per month, but since you have to pay for a minimum of three months of coverage, you're looking at an upfront payment of at least $45. That can make things a bit confusing when you're first introduced to Mint's pricing model, but as long as you're comfortable buying phone service in bulk, the potential wireless savings could be immense. Just imagine dropping a single payment of $180 and not worrying about your phone bill again until 2027. Sounds pretty good, right?

Who owns Mint Mobile?

Although Mint Mobile used to be partly owned by actor Ryan Reynolds, the prepaid carrier is now fully owned and operated by T-Mobile. This allows Mint to give you the Big Three carrier experience without charging the Big Three carrier price, and since Mint Mobile is no longer an independent company, network de-prioritization from T-Mo is much less common.

Wondering how Mint Mobile compares with other prepaid wireless carriers? Witness the battle of the MVNOs with our Mint Mobile vs. Boost Mobile or Mint Mobile vs. Metro by T-Mobile to see which alternative carrier is right for you.

Get those holiday shopping lists ready: Amazon has announced that its Big Deal Days sale (otherwise known as 'October Prime Day') will be held on October 6th and 7th. That means we're just weeks away from shopping Amazon's Black Friday deals early, and all you'll need is a Prime membership.

That said, if you're not a Prime member or you simply don't want to wait, you'll be pleased to learn that Amazon has dropped a ton of tech deals ahead of the sale, giving you a chance to save big on everything from smartphones and laptops to noise-cancelling headphones.

The retailer is already carving $75 off the unlocked Google Pixel 10a, for instance, or you can score a whopping 36% off the popular Garmin Venu 3S smartwatch if you place your order today.

The best part is that most of the deals below don't require a Prime membership, although if you were interested in shopping Prime Day deals when Big Deal Days kicks off next month, it's worth mentioning that Amazon is offering a 30-day free trial. This will let you enjoy all of the exclusive deals (in addition to regular subscription benefits) without paying a cent.

The fall sale season is quickly approaching, but you don't need to wait for Black Friday to score some exceptional smartphone deals. Case in point: for a limited time, Amazon is slashing 15% off the Google Pixel 10a, which was already my favorite cheap Android phone on the market.

The deal drops the price of the unlocked Pixel 10a down to just $424, no trade-in required. That said, if you do have an old or broken device lying around, Amazon is offering up to $420 (in the form of a gift card) when you process a trade. What's the point of Black Friday when the Google Pixel deals are already this good?

Typically priced around $499 for the 128GB configuration, the Google Pixel 10a is a midrange phone that punches well above its weight class. Straight out of the box, the Pixel 10a boasts a stunning 6.3-inch 120Hz pOLED display with IP68 durability and 3,000 nits of brightness, while under the hood you get Android 16, 8GB of RAM, and a 5,100mAh battery that's actually larger than what's found inside the base model Pixel 10.

At 183 grams, the Pixel 10a is also lighter than its flagship counterpart, while both phones share many of the same camera tech and software features. The Google Pixel 10a even comes with seven years of OS and security upgrades, which is a rarity for devices in this price category.

Of course, no phone is perfect. The Pixel 10a surprised us all by utilizing the last-gen Google Tensor G4 chipset instead of the newer G5, plus you don't get Qi2 charging support or as many AI features as you would with a flagship Pixel. It's also worth mentioning that, with Black Friday just around the corner, we might see some Pixel deals that drop the price of the Pixel 10a even further in the coming weeks.

With all of that being said, if you just want a great phone at a great price today, the Google Pixel 10a might be the midrange masterpiece that you're searching for. The phone is already worth a look at full price, but this Amazon discount is simply the cherry on top.

Readers on the hunt for a great smartwatch deal can call off the search, as Amazon just slashed 27% off the 41mm Google Pixel Watch 4 (LTE). That's a record-smashing discount on one of the best wearables that we've ever tested, dropping the watch down to just $329.99 for a limited time.

This deal follows last month's launch of the new Pixel Watch 5, a somewhat redundant device that doesn't dramatically upgrade any of the features that made the Google Pixel Watch 4 so iconic. After all, there's a reason why last year's model is still holding a top spot in our guide to the best Android smartwatches that money can buy.

A new release from Google also means that discounts on the last-gen wearable are becoming more common, although even I have to admit I'm surprised to see a record-breaking discount this soon. Why wait for Black Friday? The first great Pixel deal of the season is already here.

Currently 27% off at Amazon, the Google Pixel Watch 4 boasts a stunning domed display with 3,000 nits of brightness, plus you get smooth Wear OS performance out of the box, 32GB of onboard storage, and a ton of accurate health and fitness tracking features. The 41mm watch also lasts up to two days on a single charge, while its fast charging capabilities can get your battery back up to 50% in as little as 15 minutes.

But what about the new Google Pixel Watch 5? Well, the watches look pretty much identical at first glance, but you are getting 50% more RAM and twice the storage by going with the newer model. You also get a slight uptick in GPS accuracy. The problem is that, aside from the storage boost, most users won't notice much of a difference between the two models on a day-to-day basis.

If both watches were at full price, sure, I'd recommend dropping the additional 50 bucks to get the new Pixel Watch 5. But with this Amazon discount, the 41mm Google Pixel Watch 4 with LTE is a whopping $170 cheaper than its 2026 counterpart. The small upgrades from the Pixel Watch 5 simply don't justify the higher price tag, making last year's model a much smarter buy while this discount is active.

TL;DR: Forget the iPhone 18 Pro, you can score $1,100 off the Galaxy S26 Ultra when you add a line with an eligible unlimited plan at T-Mobile deal.

Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro earlier this week, and for folks who are tempted to try it out: I get it. Even as a representative of Android Central, I have to admit that the 18 Pro is going to give the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra a run for its money when we start ranking the best smartphones of 2026.

The iPhone 18 Pro utilizes a new A20 Pro chip that might match the performance of the Galaxy S26 Ultra's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor (time will tell), plus the Apple device boasts a larger battery and the ability to shoot video with Dolby Vision support. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is considerably lighter than the iPhone, and you get unique features like Privacy ID and an embedded S Pen stylus.

It's a close race, and it's one of those debates that will probably be raging for many months to come. While the tech sites sort it out, there's probably only one factor that really matters to you: whether or not you can get a good deal.

Preorder offers for the iPhone 18 Pro don't go on sale until September 12th, but if you're interested in the Galaxy S26 Ultra, you can save a whopping $1,100 right now by adding a line with the Experience More or Experience Beyond plans at T-Mobile. That drops the price of the premium flagship down to just $5.56 per month for 36 months, no trade-in required!

Both of the unlimited plans included in the T-Mobile promotion give you unlimited talk, text, and premium data on the carrier's vast 5G network, a high-speed mobile hotspot, and a ton of international benefits. Going with the more-expensive Experience Beyond plan also gets you free Hulu and Netflix streaming, plus access to the same deals that are usually exclusive to new customers.

The Experience More and Experience Beyond plans start at $90 and $100 per month for a single line, respectively, but you can drop that price down considerably by adding multiple lines and using AutoPay. Adding four lines of the Experience More plan, for instance, will drop the price down to $42.50 per month for each line ($170 total).

The fact is, both the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the iPhone 18 Pro are excellent smartphones with prohibitively expensive price tags. Regardless of the device you choose, you're going to want a good deal, and this Galaxy S26 promo from T-Mobile is one of the best on the web today.

TL;DR: the hybrid-style Garmin Venu 3S just scored a 36% discount that drops the fitness watch to its lowest price ever recorded at Amazon.

About a year ago, I decided it was finally time to try jogging again. I had hated the activity since I was a kid, but something about the simplicity of hitting the trail with nothing more than some earbuds, good running shoes, and a fitness watch suddenly appealed to me one day.

The problem is that I didn't have a fitness watch at the time, and all of the best Garmin watches seemed too bulky and rugged-looking for my (admittedly) skinny wrists. Fortunately, that's when I came across the Garmin Venu 3S.

This wearable takes the hardware of the excellent Venu 3 and packs it into a sleek, discreet wearable that could easily pass inspection as a traditional Android smartwatch. I paid around $350 for it last year (insert crying face emoji), but now Amazon is slashing a record-smashing 36% off the watch, knocking the price down to just $288.

The Garmin Venu 3S took my fitness regimen to the next level, and now it's selling at a record low price

The Venu 3S comes packed full of the detailed metrics you'd expect in a Garmin watch, such as heart rate monitoring, ECG, and Pulse Ox, plus you get useful features like Body Battery and Sleep Score. And for once, you're getting a fitness watch that's actually comfortable enough to sleep in.

The Garmin Venu 3S also comes with GPS tracking, 8GB of storage for music files, and over 30 pre-installed activity modes, which means I can take it on hikes and bike rides without skipping a beat. Battery life isn't exactly groundbreaking, but the Venu 3S does last a solid week or so before it needs a recharge (with GPS activated).

Is it the best Garmin watch ever built? No, that title probably belongs to the pricey Fenix 9. But is it a reliable fitness watch that's perfect for this (very) casual athlete? Absolutely, and if you've been on the fence about the Venu 3S, this record-smashing 36% discount should encourage you to take the leap like I did.

It's not unusual for Big Three providers to run free phone deals, but when an affordable prepaid carrier like Metro by T-Mobile does it, one should take note. Bring your number and add a line with any of Metro's plans (starting at $40/month) and you'll get the Samsung Galaxy A37 for completely free. No trade-in required, no hidden taxes or fees to worry about.

That's a $450 value, and the T-Mobile-owned carrier will even waive the activation fee. $40 per month for unlimited talk, text, and data AND one of the best cheap Android phones on the market? Sign me up.

Sign up for cheap wireless through Metro by T-Mobile and the free Samsung phone is yours

Completely owned and operated by T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile is an affordable prepaid carrier that harnesses the power of its parent company to deliver comprehensive wireless for cheap. The $40/month Unlimited 5G Data plan gives you unlimited talk, text, and data on T-Mo's vast 5G network, plus you get access to Scam Shield protection and exclusive offers through T-Mobile Tuesdays.

It may lack a lot of the bells and whistles included in some unlimited plans (particularly those offered by Big Three providers), but if you just want simple, affordable wireless with no hidden fees or regular price increases, Metro by T-Mobile has you covered.

The only catch is that, since it's a prepaid provider, it is possible for your Metro service to get deprioritized when T-Mobile's network is busy. This can only occur after 35GB of data is used in one billing cycle, however, so it's really only an issue if you're a particularly heavy data user.

What about the phone?

Starting at $449.99, the Galaxy A37 is a budget phone that punches well above its weight class, with a stunning 6.7-inch AMOLED display, snappy Exynos 1480 chipset, and a bunch of AI-powered camera features. The device also boasts an efficient 5,000mAh battery that lasts longer than some flagships, plus you get six years of guaranteed OS and security upgrades, which is a rarity in this price range.

Foldable phones are all the rage right now, but these innovative devices can get pretty expensive without a good deal attached. Fortunately, I've tracked down all of the best foldable phone deals on the web so you don't have to go looking.

We've reached the point where pretty much every OEM is selling a clamshell or book-style foldable phone, and each manufacturer is racing to build the thinnest, most powerful, and most creaseless device on the market. Even Apple has entered the fray with the upcoming iPhone Duo.

This spells good news for you as a consumer, as stiff competition generally means a wider variety of tempting deals to choose from. These manufacturers want you to use their foldable phones and no one else's, which gives you all of the buying power you need. From straight discounts on Motorola flip phones to trade-in offers on the latest Galaxy Z Fold, keep reading for my favorite offers of September 2026.

It's official: Apple's first ever iPhone foldable has been unveiled, but why wait for that October release date when you can still get the Galaxy Z Fold 8 for FREE with T-Mobile's latest deal? Process a trade-in and add a line with the Experience Beyond plan and T-Mo will give you the passport-style Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 for free, weeks before the iPhone Duo even goes on sale.

Don't have anything to trade in? Skip that part of the process and you can still score $1,100 off the Galaxy Z Fold 8 when you add a line with the Experience More or Experience Beyond plans on T-Mobile's website.

Sure, T-Mobile's Experience plans aren't exactly cheap, but when I'm looking at grabbing a $1,900 smartphone, I'll take just about any deal I can get. It doesn't hurt that they are also two of the best unlimited plans in the business. If you're interested in one of the most innovative phones of 2026 and you were planning to update your wireless service anyway, this deal is worth grabbing ASAP.

Forget the iPhone Duo: grab a FREE Galaxy Z Fold 8 with trade at T-Mobile

• See my guide to the best T-Mobile deals of the month

Samsung just unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 8 (alongside the Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8) during a Galaxy Unpacked event a few months back, and the phones are already turning heads. For starters, it's hard to describe the Z Fold 8 as a true successor to last year's Galaxy Z Fold 7, as Samsung has given the phone a shorter and wider, "passport-style" design.

This new look makes the phone easy to pocket and use with one hand while folded, while unfolding the device gives you an experience akin to an Android tablet. And as usual, the foldable phone's two AMOLED display are absolutely stunning and smooth as butter.

Under the hood, you still get the powerful Z Fold experience that we've all come to know and love, with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and all of the latest AI-boosted software tricks. The phone does clock in at $1,899, however, so deals like the T-Mobile promotion above are essential.

It's no secret that Visible is one of my favorite wireless providers, but deals from the Verizon-owned carrier can seem uncommon when you compare it to the competition. Fortunately, quality matters more than quantity, as evidenced by this Visible deal that gives you a year of the top-rated Plus Pro plan for only $225 upfront when you use the code SAVEHALF at checkout.

That's a 50% discount on one of the best unlimited plans that I've ever used, shaking out to just $18.75 per month. The only catch is that you have to pay for the full year of wireless upfront, but if you can afford it, this offer presents one of the most cost-effective ways to get unlimited wireless powered by Verizon. Plus, imagine how it'll feel to drop one payment and not worry about your phone bill again until late 2027?

Score 50% off a year of Visible's best unlimited plan with this promo code

To claim the savings, simply go to Visible's website, switch to the annual plan options, and choose one year of the Visible Plus Pro plan. Use the code SAVEHALF during checkout and the discount will be automatically applied. It's as simple as that.

The plan in question gives you unlimited talk, text, and premium data on Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband network, plus you get an unlimited mobile hotspot and 4K UHD streaming support.

The Visible Plus Pro plan also comes with a bunch of international benefits that might surprise you, including unlimited calling to over 85 countries, unlimited texting to over 200 countries, and 24 Global Pass days every year at no additional charge. There's a reason I selected it as one of the best wireless plans for international travel in 2026.

Sure, not everyone is going to want to pay for a year of wireless in advance, but if you're looking for a new mobile provider and you have $225 of cash lying around, here's your chance to get some great coverage with very little hassle.

Not sold on Visible yet? It's worth mentioning that the carrier also offers a free trial that gives you 15 days to explore the service with zero commitment.

• MVNO deals: Mint Mobile | Visible | Boost | Tello | Cricket

TL;DR: Amazon just dropped a bunch of Fire tablet deals for kids and adults alike, but they're selling out fast.

Tablets are nearly as essential as smartphones in this day and age, but finding a good deal on one of these devices can be a challenge. Fortunately, if you're in the market for a new couch companion, you're in luck: Amazon is slashing prices on several models from its popular Fire line of tablets, including 50% off the Fire HD 10, which is my personal favorite.

Amazon Fire tablets aren't exactly beasts of performance, but they're great tools if you need a reliable device for streaming, casual gaming, or surfing the web. Indeed, these tablets are all about simplicity, with bright displays, great battery life, and an approachable price tag. What else could you need?

• See the full list of deals at Amazon today

Which Amazon Fire tablet should you buy?

It depends on how you plan you use your tablet. If you need something compact and portable for road trips or long flights, look no further than the Fire HD 8. If, on the other hand, you enjoy large screens for streaming, gaming, or reading, the Amazon Fire HD 10 is likely the better choice.

Regardless of the cheap Android tablet you buy, you can rest easy knowing that you're getting an Amazon tablet with great battery life, fast performance, and a price that won't break your budget.

Garmin smartwatch deals are hardly uncommon nowadays, but any discount on the brand's premium Fenix line is sure to turn heads.

Head to Amazon before its Labor Day deals expire and you can score a straight 25% discount on the Garmin Fenix 8, a classic fitness watch that still impresses with a rugged design and a suite of comprehensive fitness tracking features.

It may not be the newest Garmin Fenix watch around any longer (that honor belongs to the great Fenix 9), but if you don't mind going with a last-gen device, you'll get a lot more bang for your buck with the Fenix 8.

• See the full list of leftover Labor Day deals at Amazon today

Despite its last-gen status, the Fenix 8 continues to impress as one of the best Garmin watches on the market today, thanks to the wearable's sophisticated blend of rugged design and powerful performance. The watch boasts a vibrant AMOLED face with stainless steel and reinforced polymer components, plus you get military-grade durability with 10ATM water resistance (so you can wear it in the pool).

The Fenix 8 also sports a built-in LED flashlight and microphone for voice commands/calls, while under the hood you get 32GB of onboard storage and up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge. The fitness watch also comes with all of the health and fitness tracking tools we've come to expect from the brand, including heart rate, SpO2, and ECG monitoring, alongside features like Body Battery and Garmin Coach.

Indeed, the newer Garmin Fenix 9 is the better watch, but these upgrades come at a price. If you want the flagship Garmin experience without spending an arm and a leg, this Fenix 8 deal presents a convenient alternative. Just don't wait too long to make your move.

Labor Day has come to an end, but there are still a surprising number of leftover tech deals if you know where to look. Case in point: even though its holiday sale has has ended, Amazon is still slashing 50% off the Sony WH-1000XM5, a pair of flagship cans that once topped our list of the best wireless headphones that money can buy.

Sure, these noise-cancelling headphones have since been supplanted by the newer Sony WH-1000XM6, but if you want to enjoy a premium listening experience for cheap, going with the last-gen XM5 is one of the best ways to do so, particularly when you slap on a record-smashing discount. You can thank me later.

Despite their last-gen status, the Sony WH-1000XM5 continue to impress as some of the best noise-cancelling headphones that money can buy. You get powerful active noise cancellation (ANC) straight out of the box along with the excellent sound quality that Sony is famous for, plus the cans boast a comfortable fit, a ton of customizable EQ settings (with 10 presets), and up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge.

The headphones also come with four built-in microphones for voice calls, while multipoint connection means that you can connect your Sony XM5 to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Your purchase will even come with a free carrying case, which, considering the rigid construction of the XM5, is a nice bonus.

Sure, the Sony WH-1000XM6 technically offer a better experience, with longer battery life, a new QN3 processor, and a flexible build, but I'm not sure these upgrades are worth the steep price tag.

Indeed, if you want the flagship Sony audio experience for less than $200, this discount is one of the best headphone deals on the web. This Labor Day deal could end at any moment, however, so I'd either buy now or prepare to wait until Black Friday season rolls around in a few months. The choice is yours.

I've seen a lot of Google Pixel 11 deals since the phones were first unveiled last month, but once again, Mint Mobile has surprised me with one of the best offers yet. For a limited time, the T-Mobile-owned carrier is slashing $425 off the powerful Google Pixel 11 Pro XL, and all you need to do is bundle the device with one year of wireless.

Yes, that seems like a major eligibility requirement, but considering that all of Mint Mobile's annual plans have been discounted to just $180 (or $15 per month), it's actually extremely cost-effective.

Let me put it this way. Bundle the phone with one year of the carrier's popular unlimited plan, and it'll only cost you $1,054 ($88 per month using affirm). That's a whopping $200 cheaper than the Pixel 11 Pro XL's current price at Amazon, and it comes with a full 12 months of one of our favorite unlimited plans around. It's not for everyone, but if you want a deal that gets you a powerful Android phone and a great new wireless plan, this Mint Mobile promotion is one of the most impressive offers on the web today.

✅ Recommended if: you want a powerful Android phone and some great no-frills wireless for cheap; you hate paying your phone bill and wouldn't mind purchasing a year of coverage in advance.

❌ Skip this deal if: you don't want to commit to a full year of one wireless plan in advance; you want a phone plan with premium perks; you prefer the simplicity of buying phones unlocked; you're looking for a trade-in opportunity.

If you don't need all of the fancy extras and premium perks offered by Big Three carriers, Mint Mobile's Unlimited plan is a fantastic choice. You get unlimited talk, text, and data on T-Mobile's vast 5G network, plus a free mobile hotspot and free calls to Mexico, Canada, and the UK. That's it. Just simple and effective wireless that won't break the bank.

The premium Pixel 11 Pro XL, however, is anything but simple. This is Google's answer to Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra, boasting a gorgeous 6.8-inch AMOLED display, a powerful Tensor G6 chipset, and 12GB of RAM straight out of the box. You also get some upgraded camera tech, faster charging speeds, and the new HiLight LED notification feature around the camera bar.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL may not be a dramatic upgrade from its predecessor, but it's still one of the best phones that Google has ever produced. Here is a great way to get the 2026 flagship at a solid discount (plus a year of great wireless coverage to boot).

TL;DR: the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra just scored a rare 27% discount during Amazon's Labor Day sale, but the deal expires in less than 24 hours!

It's no secret that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is one of the best phones ever built, but its steep price tag has been a major barrier for a lot of Android fans. Fortunately, Amazon's Labor Day sale is live and slashing 27% off the unlocked flagship, dropping the price to a much more reasonable $953.

The only catch is that the deal ends at midnight tonight, so you better act fast if you're interested. We probably won't see another discount like this until the fall sales begin in earnest next month.

• Amazon's Labor Day sale ends TONIGHT: see the full list of deals

The nearly perfect Galaxy S26 Ultra just scored a hefty discount during Amazon's Labor Day sale

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is pure luxury inside and out, with a stunning 6.9-inch AMOLED display (with built-in stylus), IP68 ingress protection with an aluminum and Gorilla Glass build, and a slimmer, more lightweight design than its predecessor.

Under the hood, the phone is equipped with the excellent Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, plus you get 12GB of RAM, a seven-year software promise, and all of the latest AI-boosted software features from Galaxy AI. The S26 Ultra also has the innovative Privacy Display feature that prevents people from seeing your screen unless they're looking at it straight on.

Indeed, even with this discount, $953 is a lot for a phone. But if you've had your eye on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra for a while and you prefer the simplicity of an unlocked device, this deal is tough to beat. Just don't wait too long: once this offer is gone, it's going to be at least a month before the Galaxy S26 Ultra gets another discount this good.

Labor Day has arrived, which means we're currently seeing some of the best tech deals this side of Black Friday. The preorder period may be long gone, but the Google Pixel 11 deals are just as good as they've ever been. Just in time for Labor Day weekend, T-Mobile will give you the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL for FREE when you add a line with the Experience Beyond plan, no trade-in required!

As far as simplicity is concerned, this is one of the best Pixel 11 Pro XL deals on the web, totally crushing the latest offers from Verizon and AT&T. Even if you don't want to sign up for T-Mobile's Experience Beyond plan (which is admittedly pretty pricey), the carrier is guaranteeing a $900 discount with all of its mainline unlimited plans, while the Experience More plan will still land you $1,100 off your smartphone purchase.

Destined to rank among the best Android phones released in 2026, the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL takes the excellent foundation of its predecessor and adds a new camera system, a thinner and lighter build, and the upgraded Tensor G6 chipset. The 2026 phone also boasts a brighter display with faster charging speeds, plus you get to enjoy the new HiLight LED array. This light feature is attached to the camera bar and will glow different colors when you receive a notification or activate the phone's AI assistant.

The Google Pixel 11 Pro XL also comes equipped with all of the features you'd expect from a Pixel phone in 2026, including versatile cameras, a ton of handy software features, and seven years of guaranteed OS and security updates.

Naturally, no T-Mobile deal is complete without some fine print attached, and this Pixel 11 Pro XL offer is no exception. Like I mentioned above, you'll have to sign up for the Experience Beyond plan to receive the savings, and this plan generally starts around $100 per month for a single line. Fortunately, you can drop that price down considerably by using AutoPay and adding multiple lines.

The Experience Beyond plan also comes with a bunch of enticing perks to make up for its steep price tag. You get unlimited talk, text, and premium data on T-Mobile's legendary mobile network, plus an unlimited hotspot, international coverage in over 215 countries worldwide, and free subscriptions to both Netflix and Hulu. You even get a five-year price guarantee and access to all the same great upgrade deals as new customers.

This deal isn't for everyone, but if you've been looking for a new phone plan anyway, now's your chance to score some premium T-Mobile coverage AND a powerful Android phone all at once.

I'll be honest, I don't cover smart TV deals very often, but occasionally an OLED TV discount comes along that's simply too good not to mention. Case in point: Amazon's Labor Day sale is currently carving 44% off the 65-inch C6 Series OLED TV by LG, which is widely considered to be one of the best OLED TVs on the market today.

That's a record-smashing discount on a smart TV that our sister site TechRadar called 'the best TV for most people' in 2026. In fact, the only issue that I've had with the LG C6 is its price, so this Labor Day deal is a welcome sight. Amazon will even deliver and unpack the set in the room of your choice at no additional cost. And you don't even need to be a Prime member to enjoy the savings.

• See my TOP 20+ deals from Amazon's Labor Day sale

The C6 is powered by LG's very own Alpha a11 Gen 3 AI processor, which means all of your favorite content is intelligently upscaled in real time. The smart TV boasts truly spectacular picture beyond optimization, as well, utilizing over 8 million pixels to deliver deeply immersive colors with rich blacks and lifelike details.

You also get features like Filmmaker mode, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos, while gamers will appreciate optimized specs like NVIDIA G-Sync, a 165Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 0.1ms response time. You even get four HDMI 2.1 ports for all of your consoles and streaming devices!

Is the 65-inch model too big or too small for your space? Amazon is also dropping discounts on the entire C6 TV lineup, so you can take your pick. That being said, going with the 65-inch C6 OLED (or larger) will get you the best value. If you're looking for something smaller, I'd probably wait until Amazon's big October Prime Day sale, which will likely occur sometime in October.

Samsung's latest 'Fan Edition' smartphone has just hit store shelves, and you can already find some solid Galaxy S26 FE deals during Labor Day sales this weekend. Buy the midrange masterpiece unlocked from Amazon, for instance, and you'll get a free $200 gift card with your purchase. No strings attached!

You can even claim an additional gift card worth up to $600 if you trade in an old or broken device on the retailer's website. Not too shabby for an Android phone that was literally just announced last week! No Prime membership is required to receive the gift card, but be aware that Amazon's deal ends on September 20th — so you don't have very long to claim your free cash.

The 'Fan Edition' Galaxy S26 FE comes with a free $200 gift card at Amazon

Don't let its unassuming design fool you: the Galaxy S26 FE is one of the best 'Fan Edition' smartphones that Samsung has produced in years. Starting at $699.99 for the 128GB version, the device comes equipped with a lovely 6.7-inch AMOLED display constructed from durable Gorilla Glass Victus+, while under the hood you get a powerful Exynos chipset and a 4,900mAh battery that should easily last a full day on a single charge.

Looking at the camera tech, the Galaxy S26 FE boasts a 50MP main lens, plus you get all of the brand's latest AI-boosted software features, such as Nightography and My FanCam. The midrange smartphone also comes with Android 17 straight out of the box, making the Galaxy S26 FE the first Samsung phone to launch with One UI 9. You even get seven years of OS and security updates guaranteed, which is extremely unusual for phones in this price range.

So what's the catch?

Well, the problem with Samsung's FE series always comes down to timing and price. The midrange phones generally launch months after the release of the company's S-series lineup, which means the flagship devices are often getting discounted by the time the new FE arrives. For example, you can currently buy an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S26 256GB for $721 at Amazon, which is only $21 more expensive than the S26 FE. Although, of course, you won't get the $200 gift card.

If you want a great smartphone with Android 17 out of the box AND $200 of Amazon spending money, this Galaxy S26 FE promotion is an awesome deal. If, on the other hand, you're simply looking for the best Android phone deal imaginable, it might be worth waiting a few weeks to see what the fall sale season has in store for us.

TL;DR: I just found some Labor Day deals that carve up to $350 off the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, no strings attached.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra has only been out since August 7th, but you can already score some impressive discounts if you know where to look. The best part is that these are straight discounts, which means you don't need to worry about meeting any kind of eligibility requirements to receive the savings.

No confusing contracts, no trade-in process: just good old-fashioned discounts on a powerful Android phone. Considering that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra starts at a steep $2,099.99, these straightforward Labor Day deals are a very welcome sight.

• See my guide to the best Galaxy Z Fold 8 / Z Fold 8 Ultra deals of September 2026

Starting at $2,099.99, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is both a follow-up to last year's great Galaxy Z Fold 7 and a major upgrade upon it. This impressive foldable phone takes its predecessor's thin and lightweight build and adds a huge 5,000mAh battery, the latest Qualcomm chip, and all of the latest AI-boosted software features from Galaxy AI.

As promised, the center crease is less visible than ever before, plus the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra comes with all of the powerful specs you'd expect from a 2026 Samsung foldable, including great cameras, two gorgeous AMOLED displays, and seven years of guaranteed OS and security upgrades.

Indeed, the biggest problem that I have with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is probably its price. Spending over $2,000 on a smartphone simply isn't realistic for many folks, which is why deals like the offer above are so essential. A $350 price reduction may seem like a drop in the bucket for such an expensive phone, but if you want a straightforward offer without any confusing fine print, these discounts are going to be pretty tough to beat (until Black Friday, at least).

Google's newest smartphones have been out for less than a month, but that hasn't stopped retailers like Verizon from offering some pretty exceptional Pixel 11 Pro XL deals. Add a line with the Unlimited Ultimate plan, for example, and the carrier will slash a whopping $1,119.99 off the price of the phone.

That discount drops the Pixel 11 Pro XL down to only $5 per month for 36 months, no trade-in required! Of course, Unlimited Ultimate is also Verizon's most expensive data plan, so is this deal actually worth the price of entry? Let's break down all of the pros and cons to find out if this Verizon deal is right for you.

Buy the Pixel 11 Pro XL for 5 bucks per month during Verizon's Labor Day sale

• See my guide to the best Google Pixel 11 deals of the month

✅ Recommended if: you want to upgrade to one of the best unlimited plans in the business, regardless of cost; you're looking for a good way to get a powerful Pixel phone and an outstanding wireless plan in one fell swoop.

❌ Skip this deal if: you want to save money on your phone bill; you prefer the simplicity of buying unlocked phones; you're looking for a trade-in opportunity.

For starters, it's important to note that Verizon's Unlimited Ultimate plan generally starts around $105/month for a single line, although you can reduce that price significantly by adding multiple lines and taking advantage of promotional pricing. Add four lines with AutoPay and paper-free billing, for instance, and you can enjoy the benefits of the Unlimited Ultimate plan for as little as $57.60/month for each line.

If you can afford it, the Unlimited Ultimate plan does offer a lot of great features that make up for the steep price tag. You get unlimited talk, text, and 5G Ultra Wideband data, in addition to an unlimited mobile hotspot, 4K video streaming, and a ton of international benefits when you travel.

What about the phone?

Lightweight and thinner than ever, the Pixel 11 Pro XL is one of the best phones that Google has ever created, with a powerful Tensor G6 chipset, 12GB of RAM as standard, and a gorgeous 6.8-inch AMOLED display. You also get some upgraded camera tech, seven years of guaranteed software support, and a larger battery than previous generations, making the Pixel 11 Pro XL an absolute beast of Android performance.

Furthermore — and this is mostly a cosmetic upgrade — the Pixel 11 Pro XL features the new HiLight LED light array that borders the phone's camera bar. This little light indicator silently glows when you get a notification or use the phone's AI features, plus it can be customized to match your style.

Sure, it wasn't the massive upgrade that we were hoping for when comparing the phone to last year's model, but if you can get a good deal, the Pixel 11 Pro XL is a no-brainer for any Android enthusiast in 2026.

My take on Verizon's Labor Day deal

In conclusion, I'd really only take advantage of this deal if you can afford the wireless. This Verizon promotion makes the most sense if you've already been eyeing the Unlimited Ultimate plan and want to snag a great phone at the same time. And indeed, Unlimited Ultimate is awesome if you can afford it.

For everyone else, you'd be better off looking for a straight discount or trade-in opportunity. Some carriers (like T-Mobile) will offer some major savings if you add a line and send in an old or broken phone when purchasing the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL. Otherwise, you'll need to wait until Black Friday season kicks off if you want a good discount on the latest Pixel phones.

You don't have to wait for Black Friday to score some incredible deals on Android tech. Best Buy's Labor Day sale just went live, showcasing some of the year's best deals on everything from smartphones and tablets to headphones and kitchen appliances. It's one of the retailer's biggest annual shopping events, and unlike Prime Day, you don't have to be a member to enjoy the savings. Simply smash that Add to Cart button and the savings are yours.

TL;DR: Sign up for T-Mobile's Essentials 4 Line offer and you'll get four Galaxy S26 phones and four lines for only $25/month per line.

It's not unusual to find T-Mobile deals that could land you a free phone, but more often than not, these offers require a trade-in or expensive data plan before you see any real savings. Fortunately, that's not the case with T-Mo's latest offer.

For a limited time, if you add four lines with the Essentials 4 Line offer, you'll get four Samsung Galaxy S26 phones for FREE, while the wireless coverage will be dropped to only $25 per month for each line. That's four 2026 Samsung phones with unlimited coverage for the whole family, and it'll only set you back 100 bucks per month. Sounds pretty good, if you ask me.

The Galaxy S26 may not be the most eye-catching device on the planet, but don't judge the book by its cover. The Samsung flagship is all power under the hood, with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and all of the latest AI-boosted software features. The phone also sports IP68 water-and-dust resistance, while the butter-smooth 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED display is simply a joy to behold.

T-Mobile's Essentials plan is no slouch, either. Although it lacks some of the premium perks included in the carrier's more expensive phone plans, you still get unlimited talk, text, and data on T-Mo's vast network, in addition to 50GB of premium data for each device every single month.

Sure, this T-Mobile deal isn't for everyone, but if you were searching for a good way to get your four-person family set up with some new devices in 2026, it's going to be pretty tough to beat.

Google's 2026 phone lineup is here, but if you were hoping to snag the best Pixel 11 deals, you better act fast. From now through August 27th at 11:59pm PST, Amazon will give you a free $100 gift card when you buy the base model Google Pixel 11 on its website. Go with the Pixel 11 Pro instead and your gift card balance will increase to $200. No trade-in required, no strings attached!
