Amazon Echo serves up 10 new tones for your alarms

The Amazon Echo's capabilities keep expanding, and the versatile smart speaker now features greater capabilities for those using it as an alarm. Echo owners can now set ten new alarms tones, which are set directly from the Alexa app. You can set a new default sound, or select a specific tone for individual alarms.

Amazon is also highlighting a new set of skills for its virtual assistant, Alexa. You can ask Alexa to get you the top headlines from AOL. You can also create events on your Google Calendar quickly using Alexa, grab recipes from Campbell's, and even play blackjack.

You can get the Amazon Echo directly from Amazon, while the Alexa app can be found on the Google Play Store.
