At an event in New Delhi, Xiaomi launched the Mi 5 in the Indian market. The 32GB variant will go up for sale starting April 6 for ₹24,999.

The Mi 5 offers a 5.12-inch Full HD display, 1.8GHz Snapdragon 820 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 16MP camera with 4-axis stabilization, 4MP front shooter, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and a 3000mAh battery.

Xiaomi's going to make the 32GB variant available initially, any may launch the 64GB model with the 2.1GHz Snapdragon 820 at a later date. As of now, it doesn't look like the Pro model with 128GB storage and 4GB of RAM will make its way to the country. As for color options, you'll have to be content with the white version initially. Black and gold color variants will debut later.
