The VEVO music video app for Android has just been updated to version 2.0, bringing with it a number of new features such as an redesigned Home screen, a new navigation menu and lots more. It's available for download at the Google Play Store

The new Home screen offers a real time feed that is constantly updated with the latest music videos and original VEVO shows, along with music news and recommended playlists. VEVO adds:

Watching videos is now better than ever. We've made it easy to discover related videos so you can browse our enormous music video catalogue even while you watch a video. Our app now also provides you with a list of suggested videos, so you can select what video you want to watch next. We've upgraded our technology and have integrated Nexstreaming as our video player partner on Android - thanks to their player technology; you'll enjoy music videos at the highest possible quality yet.

It should be easier to create, modify and delete playlists in the new app and users can also copy any playlists created by the VEVO team to their own account. U.S. and Canadian VEVO users can also access VEVO TV, with three music video channels (HITS for pop music, FLOW for Rap/R&B and NASHVILLE for Country). Mexico and Germany residents can access their own channel with selected international music videos.

Is it just me or has the video quality in the Vevo app dropped with the new update to version 2.0 with no setting to adjust it?
