AT&T's no-contract subsidiary Cricket Wireless has extended its 50% Cyber Monday price cut for its Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphones to today, citing high demand for the offer. Both it and the Samsung Galaxy S5 were on sale yesterday, but Cricket tells us they're all sold-out of the Galaxy S5, so there's just the S4 on sale for now.

AT&T is rolling out an OTA update for the Galaxy S4 today, bringing the device up to Android version 4.4.4. The update's most notable feature is the inclusion of Knox 2.0. In addition, you'll also snag the usual spate of bug fixes and, unfortunately, some added bloatware.
In case the early look of Android Lollipop running on the Samsung Galaxy S5 wasn't quite enough, SamMobile has returned with yet another pre-release build — this time for the Galaxy S4. While it's no official confirmation that the GS4 will definitely get the update, this at least shows Samsung is looking into it.

While Google may have discontinued some of the original Google Play edition devices, that doesn't mean they just vanished, or went in a hole along with some Atari cartridges. Case in point — Expansys seems to have acquired enough of them to offer this great little sale to the public.
