T-Mobile and LG release another Jelly Bean update for the Optimus L9, hopefully the previous issues have been sorted out
The Optimus L9 may not be the most popular phone in LG's stable, but that didn't keep them from coordinating with T-Mobile and getting another Jelly Bean update ready to go for the device. The update is live and pushing out OTA to folks on the current 4.1.2 official firmware...
350MB update will start hitting devices today over the air
It's not the latest, greatest, biggest or fastest device out there, but the LG Optimus L9 on T-Mobile will benefit from an update to Jelly Bean just the same. Today the carrier announced via a support page document that the move to 4.1.2 will be coming OTA (Over The Air) to devices starting today. The European models of the L9 started...
The LG Optimus L9 was introduced to European markets in the second half of last year as the then newest member of the Optimus L-Series of devices. We first went hands with the LG back at IFA 2012 in Berlin, we found a surprisingly nice mid-range device. Since launch, the L9 has been running Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, but now it seems that European owners are getting a Jelly Bean flavored...

You can also get it for $49.99 with their equipment installment plan with 20 equal payments of $15/month. Its most notable feature is an optical character recognition app...

If you can remember back to Mobile World Congress, we first saw the LG Optimus L9 and it's fancy Quick Translator app. Later at IFA in Berlin, we had a little hands-on. Tonight we see it with T-Mobile branding plastered across the top bezel. We have no idea about any potential release date or price, or if this will even become "official" any time soon, but we do have a press render of the LG...
Here we have the LG Optimus L9, the fourth and newest phone in the series LG unveiled at Mobile World Congress in February. The specs, as you'll recall:
