If you picked up a shiny new HTC One X or One S this Easter weekend -- or you already own an earlier Sense device -- then you'll find a special offer waiting for you in the HTC Watch app. Until the end of Easter Monday, the rental price of many movies in HTC Watch has been cut down to almost nothing -- in the UK, the cost is just £0.05.
The HTC Watch catalog has been growing slowly but steadily...

HTC has made the Ice Cream Sandwich kernel sources for the Vivid, the Sensation, and the Sensation XE available for download on their HTC Developer Center website. It's been about a week since HTC began rolling out ICS for the three devices, and per the license, these were to have been published when the software was released. Developers have been getting a little antsy waiting, but now have...
Update: Forum reports now indicate that the original HTC Sensation is also getting the ICS update, though for the moment it seems to be limited to Germany and Nordic countries.
Have a German HTC Sensation XE? Looking for your Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update? Tired of us asking questions when you know darn well where this is going?
That's right, boys and girls, it looks like the ICS update...
HTC will give some customers an early preview of its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates, a spokesperson for the manufacturer has told us. This will start with the HTC Sensation and Sensation XE in Europe (sorry, Tmo Sensation 4G owners), and leaves open the possibility that it'll be extended to other popular handsets in the future.
"HTC knows how excited many of its customers are about the...
Manufacturer HTC today on its Facebook page gave word that its initial round of Ice Cream Sandwich updates will be available by the end of March. First up are the HTC Sensation, Sensation 4G and Sensation XE, with the Sensation XL to follow. (Note to HTC: Got enough versions there?)
That's just for starters, of course. Back in November, HTC told us that the Rezound, EVO 3D and EVO Design 4G also...
Last week we saw that HTC's planning to launch a white HTC Sensation in parts of Europe from the beginning of next month, and now it seems its big brother, the Sensation XE, will also be getting a fresh coat of paint.
UK retailer Clove Technology sends word that it'll be stocking a white version of the Sensation XE from Feb. 20, with SIM-free prices coming in at £408 (~$640). The Sensation XE,...
It looks like Orange UK will soon be offering the HTC Sensation XE for sale on its network, as the device has just appeared on Orange's "coming soon" page. The Sensation XE is refreshed version of the original Sensation, and sports Beats Audio support, along with a faster 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU and a larger battery.
Until now O2 has been the only British network directly selling the Sensation XE...
Back when Ice Cream Sandwich was officially announced we all took some joy in predicting what devices would and would not have upgrades heading their way and at the time -- there was alot of love given to the HTC Sensation and EVO line of devices as well as the Amaze 4G. As it turns out, HTC agreed and have now put up a list of "first wave" devices that will be upgraded:
HTC knows how excited...
If our calculations are correct, HTC just dropped more source code than we've got time for all weekend. To wit: we're now seeing kernel source and Gingerbread updates for the HTC Rhyme, myTouch 4G, Jetstream, Sensation XE, EVO 4G+ (which launched in South Korea), Sensation XL and the HTC ThunderBolt, along with the proprietary binaries for ADP1.
Not bad for a Saturday. Remember that this is...
HTC UK is using its Facebook page to invite fans to London to celebrate the launch of "HTC with Beats Audio", in a party at London's Roundhouse next Thursday, Oct. 6. The party, which follows on from a press conference earlier in the day, features performances by Fedde le Grand, Martin Solveig as well as a "surprise headliner." More importantly, we'll also be there.
As far as shiny new HTC...

The wallpapers, ringtones, boot animation and the new Beats live wallpaper from the HTC Vigor have popped up, and are available for download. No source is given, but we're assuming they are from the Vigor RUU that's been mentioned (but not released) by a few HTC Sensation developers. It appears that most of the media is the typical HTC Sense fare, but there are two new Vigor specific...

The HTC Sensation XE is a refresh of HTC's earlier flagship phone, the Sensation. The Sensation XE sports a faster 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon CPU (up from 1.2GHz), and a larger 1730 mAh battery.
The stand-out feature, though, is Beats Audio -- the Sensation XE is the first HTC device to ship with Beats support, following HTC's purchase of a majority share in Beats Audio in mid-2011.
