As always, we keep our eyes and ears close to the ground to stay updated with the latest cities to receive T-Mobile 3G. Considering that T-Mobile is seriously lagging behind in their 3G network (when compared to Sprint and Verizon) and that the other networks are offering amazing Android devices to boot, it's safe to assume that T-Mobile is doing everything in their power to get their 3G network on par with its competitors. Android 1.6 Donut Officially Rolling Out

It's official folks. The Android 1.6 'Donut' update is rolling out to T-Mobile G1 and myTouch 3G devices as we speak. The update will be pushed out to users over-the-air by T-Mobile. We're glad the 'Donut' rollout went a lot smoother than the 'Cupcake' update, maybe Android and T-Mobile are getting the hang of this. Either way, be sure to let us know when you receive the 'Donut' update!

Tmonews reports that T-Mobile is going to be rolling out Android 1.6 'Donut' to the T-Mobile G1 at 12AM Eastern Time. Select G1s will receive the update and after 24 hours, the myTouch 3G will get in on the 'Donut' action with their own update. If everything goes according to plan, 'Donut' will slowly trickle down to all the T-Mobile Android handsets soon enough.

We've received reports that the lovely city of Wichita, Kansas has received the beautiful benefits of T-Mobile 3G. Though the T-Mobile 3G launch isn't quite official there yet, we're hearing that users can definitely enjoy the perks and speediness of 3G.

Tmonews is also reporting that Tacoma, Washington is also getting T-Mobile 3G, so any users in that area should now enjoy 3G as well. That knocks off two cities from T-mobile 3G's rollout plan. In the meantime, there are...

It seems like everyday we're updating you guys on the latest T-Mobile 3G cities and that's because, well, everyday a new city gets T-Mobile 3G! The latest cities to receive the 3G love are Springfield, Cape Cod, and Newbedford, Massachusetts. As you can see, T-Mobile is really taking its time with this 3G rollout and hopefully it'll all trickle out in the end. We know it's worth it.

We don't know much about Columbus, Ohio but we know that they've recently been receiving the speed of T-Mobile 3G (via Tmonews). We certainly expected that a city of Columbus, Ohio's magnitude (it is the biggest city in Ohio, right?) to receive T-Mobile 3G much earlier, but we guess we were wrong.

T-Mobile is still rolling out their 3G network in hopes of reaching respectability, this time cities in Texas such as College Station, Beaumont, Bryant , and Galveston are all enjoying the speediness that is 3G. The T-Mobile 3G rollout continues! The month of May has T-Mobile 3G coming to four cities. Rockford and Springfield, Illinois should already be enjoying the speed of 3G while Henderson, Nevada and Wichita Falls, Texas just needs to wait a couple days in order to experience the fast data speeds of 3G!

Like we said, slowly but surely T-Mobile is covering the nation in 3G. Hopefully, it's not so slow that 4G will already be prevalent by the time T-Mobile...

If you're a fan of visual voicemail (and who isn't?) you'll be happy to hear that Visual Voicemail is coming to T-Mobile. According to T-Mobile's roadmap (which details dates on other T-Mobile phones), Visual Voicemail is supposed to launch this July. If you're unfamiliar with what Visual Voicemail is and does, just know that it makes Voicemail a heck of a lot more bearable--it's basically visual, voicemail (duh).
