The picture above, under all the blurriness, is the Motorola Motus, Motorola's next Android phone. It definitely shares a significant resemblance to the Motorola CLIQ but comes off with more sleekness. The keyboard is very flat looking but the buttons look pretty sizable, at least there's no d-pad to throw off the symmetry. It seems like the same cycle happens for every notable gadget release: blurry photos emerge, less blurry photos emerge, pre-release reviews come out, unboxing videos pop up, post-release images and videos are widely available, and then finally, said notable gadget gets disassembled. The Motorola DROID is in that last stage of the cycle yet even disassembled and torn apart, still manages to look good.

One of the features we were most looking forward in the DROID was the 5-megapixel autofocus camera. After having middling experiences with previous Android smartphone cameras, we were very hopeful that the DROID would buck the disappointing trend. Your hopes for a high-end device will be crushed when you realize that the first ever dellphone, though beautiful and runs Android, lacks WiFi and 3G. Why? Androinica reports that Google has updated their Google Image Search on Android devices. It's nicer, faster, and better suited for the mobile platform. They've even included filtering options which'll allow you to sort by Faces, Clip Art, Line Drawings, Photo Content and SafeSearch. The layout is improved as well, showing 20 images per page.

Special attention is given to some of the more interesting parts -- the keyboard isn't so good in medium light, but fine in bright light and no-light, the SD Card slot can be hard to find, the slider mechanism is really geek-cool, and so on.
