We've spent some time with the Nokia N900, and we can tell you that it's simply a beast of a device. Big, powerful, and made strictly for landscape usage--the N900 oozes power. Maemo (the OS behind the N900) is also interesting but a little undercooked right now and since we're obviously much more familiar to the UI and philosophies of Android than Maemo, we silently wished for an N900-type device...

We're not the only ones who think that Android is about to take off. We had already told you guys that Firefox Mobile aka Fennec wasn't coming to Android but more details are coming out as to who's to blame. Fennec won't play nice with Android Market because apps in Android Market need to programmed with a custom form of Java to run on Android. Mozilla and the Fennec peeps won't have that and won't be releasing any form of Firefox until Google amends the limitation of Android Apps.

We at Android Central only knew of Lenovo as the maker of laptops and tablets. Admittedly, we're a fan of their PC work but we had no idea that they were big time makers of cell phones and smartphones in China. Until now.
