Birmingham, Alabama is a city Android Central knows very little about (other than Charles Barkley being born in nearby Leeds) but it is apparently lucky enough to receive some speedy fast T-Mobile 3G. Which means you Birmingham citizens can rock your T-Mobile G1 to its full potential! Like we said, slowly but surely T-Mobile will get a respectable 3G Coverage map..

That map looks sparse doesn't it? Sad to say but that is T-Mobile's Coverage Map which includes 3G, EDGE, GPRS and a whole lotta 'No Coverage'. To see if you have T-Mobile 3G available in your area head on over to T-Mobile's Coverage Map.

According to the maps, where I live (LA Area) is filled with 3G coverage. Score!
