ADC2 Public Judging Closed, Winners Will Be Announced Nov 30th

The public judging for Android Developer Challenge 2, or ADC2, has been closed and winners of the challenge will be announced on Monday, November 30th. There were a lot of great applications that participated and we're excited to see what Android users pegged as the winners.

We didn't like it when Google sent CyanogenMod, maker of the best Android ROMs available, a cease and desist letter. We didn't like Google's explanation on why CyanogenMod couldn't distribute the close-sourced applications of Android (Market, Gmail, etc) in the custom ROMs...

Google Blocks Cupcake Users From Android Market

There are reports that users who have uploaded Cupcake onto their G1's are not being allowed access to the Android Market. So if you're running Cupcake, chances are you won't get any access to applications. And here we thought Google and Android were the good guys.
