HTC has today unveiled its Butterfly 2 flagship smartphone for the Asia region. As previously covered, we're looking at a localized version of the One M8 but with some interesting additions. The new Butterfly device will launch next month across Asia.
Japanese mobile operator KDDI today announced a new Android device for the region, the HTC J Butterfly. It is essentially a localized version of the HTC One M8 with regards to specifications, but the second generation Butterfly comes packing some interesting features targeting local consumers.
Japanese carrier AU is set to launch what's arguably the highest-spec'd Android handset we've seen to date, the HTC J Butterfly. With 4G LTE support, a beastly quad-core Snapdragon CPU and a whopping 5-inch 1080p SuperLCD3 (yes, three) display, there's little more you could want from a smartphone.
