With its latest update, popular messaging service Snapchat has added a new feature that gives you a new way to add friends. You can now create and share a link with your friends online so they can add you to Snapchat directly.
You can generate this link as a substitute for using your Snapcode, and it's pretty easy to do. Swipe down from the top of your screen while in the Snapchat camera view, then select 'Add Friends'. In addition to the other options, you'll now see a button for 'Share username'. The system share sheet will pop up, and you can post the link wherever you want.
In order to use this feature, remember that you'll need the latest version of Snapchat, which can be found on the Google Play Store now.
