Are you a fan of tower defense games? If so, you'll be pleased to learn that Monster Castle has just been made available on Google Play. The title attempts to separate itself from the crowd by combining resource building, multiplayer combat and even hero advancement. It's also a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
Our friends over at Windows Central reviewed the title when it was outed on Windows Phone, noting that a stable data connection is required to play the game (there's no offline mode, unfortunately). While there's an extensive tutorial to get you familiarised with the basics of Monster Castle, the goal of the game is to build and defend your castle, while attacking other players.
Not only can you attack others online, but there's also the opportunity to form alliances and fight in clan wars. You'll be able to take advantage of a variety of units, as well as an extensive armory including crossbows, spike pits, cannons and even flamethrowers. Monster Castle is certainly worth checking out, especially if you're wrapped up in the strategic genre and enjoy teaming up or battling against other players.
As noted above, it's now listed on the Google Play Store for free, though in-app purchases are available.
