Android Central 153: The Galaxy Note 3 special edition podcast

He is increasingly difficult to look at... really not even trying to be a dick... that disgusting looking shit on his face has got to go. Trademark or not, seriously... shave that shit. Didn't bring much useful/interesting commentary to this podcast either

Can't wait to get blasted for this comment by everyone who thinks this dudes the best thing since sliced bread...

To be honest,I don't care what Jerry looks like, I like what he has to say! He is very intelligent and I share many of his opinions. I can't tell you the number of times he brings a point to the table that I have said, "that is a very good point!" IMHO the guys make a good team! It's apparent you are one of those that just want to stir trouble...go try to be productive somehow!

I'm extremely productive... what a dumb response. You think I'm not productive because I made a comment. I can say the same about you. And I don't think he brought much to the table as far as useful information here. Agree to disagree. Doesn't take away from the fact that I feel like I'm looking at a damn hobo. Let's face it, that thing isn't doing him any favors... It's distracting from what he says. My opinion... move on.

You're free to have your opinion. But anyone can easily say that your comments are just as brainless and unhelpful. In their opinion, of course. Looks don't determine intelligence or usefulness; both of which Jerry has proven time after time that he possesses. And if you think he even remotely cares what you have to say about his looks, you are so, very, sadly mistaken. He still gets his paycheck when it's all said and done with.

I'm not mistaken about anything. I know he doesn't care what I think. Nor do you (well, maybe you do since you felt it necessary to respond) Guess what... I could give a rat's ass... Doesn't stop me from voicing my opinion. Move on. I won't lose any sleep over someone on the internet not liking my comment, just like he won't lose any sleep over someone on the internet not liking the roadkill plastered on his face. Doesn't mean if I have an opinion, I'm not going to voice it. And I voiced it for what I feel to be a good reason. It's distracting. It's unprofessional. And if I were his boss (if he even has a "boss" or anything of the sort) I'd have him shave that shit, or find another job, because to me, looking like a hobo would be a poor representation of my establishment. Plenty of other worthy candidates for the position. (Unless of course you think he's some kind of majestic, all-knowing creature sent here from outer space that can never be replaced with someone equally, or possibly more, knowledgeable). You obviously disagree. I'm fine with that. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. You don't like mine? Too fucking bad. You'll have to learn to deal with it because I'm not going anywhere. Have a nice night.

I kind of get what you're saying but my stance isn't that rude. I just don't like watching video podcasts with dudes.

If Jennifer contributes, I believe I'd become a convert...

I guess I could have been less rude, you're right. I'll blame that on alcohol and my somewhat overly enthusiastic nature. B-) ... still doesn't change my stance on the subject. And I also agree, they desperately need a female's touch.

You not going anywhere can be fixed. Next time don't get drunk and be a dumbass in the comments. Not my opinion, either. Don't do it.

Posted via Android Central App

I think I'll do what I want, thanks... and I never said I was "drunk" ... and are YOU going to "fix" that? Didn't think so... I'll do what I want, when I want, how I want. You don't like it... again ... TOO FUCKING BAD! They want to kick me off this site for voicing my opinion, that's their choice, but that won't stop me from coming back with a different tag and continuing to voice MY OPINION. It's the internet... go FUCK yourself. Anyone else want to keep this going? Anyone else got something to say? The response will always be the same... I do what I damn well please

Posted via Android Central App

You're pretty funny. This isn't YouTube, your comments won't fly.

Also, I'm part of the "they" you're speaking of. Being on the internet doesn't mean you get to say whatever you want. That's just not how it works. Sorry to bust your bubble.

It's funny you think that dude won't just sign up again and be back in no time... just sayin

Whom are you agreeing with? It's hard to tell which comment your response lines up with. And this seems to be a hot issue, lol

I had this Notes 3 in my hand this morning in Paris Montparnasse Darty shop. 2 models with false leather in white and in black. Technologically it has everything I could dream of today, including a wonderfull display, # everything the last Sony Xperia Z1&U have, plus the 4K Video recording and USB3 for faster charging that Sony missed and are important for me. But it is UGLY with this soft plastic back that is worse than previous plastic backs from Samsung except for the toutch feeling, that is better than shiny plastic. But visually it's ugly. I just can't buy a phone that looks that cheap sorry Samsung. I pass my way. My 2nd technological choices are the Xperia Z1 & Z Ultra, but now after all the hype I figured out the Video recording was not improved at all on Z1 vs the ZU as Sony also missed the 4K Video recording (and 3D Full HD Vidoe recording) supported by Qualcom 800 proc despite they positionned this Z1 as a high end camera phone, I start to re-look at the ZU again. Reviews say its display is much better that Z1's, and finally its same battery does not last much less, and 8GB Still photos may be enough for me with basic 1080p video recording. I wait to have both in hands to make a decision.... My last chance on Notes 3 would be the rummorred special edition with bending/flexible display expexted next month. But it semas limted to Corea at this stage and small volumes so likely too expensive.... I won't wait more than end of October, so let's see....

I've been waiting for the Note 3 for a while but it seems I waited for nothing.

Everyone has different priorities. For some aesthetics are not important at all or they actually believethe Note 3 looks good. As for me, I care about the look and feel of my device. Additionally, having the newest specs are not necessary as long as the device isn't sluggish. For that reason I jumped on an opportunity to get a blue HTC One. It is beautiful, well put together and runs smooth eventhough it's not the latest.

Maybe the Note 4 will improve aesthetically. If it does, I'll be back.

I saw both Sony Xperia ZU and Z1 yesterday finally in Paris. I could not toutch the ZU but I saw it at 25cm in a window, and for sure visually it's far too large ! I could not believe I ever say that.. Plus with the Notes 3 I believe I could still handle it... not sure 100% though. So far I kept increasing sizes but this time I'll stop at 5" if I go Sony. 6.4" is just too big to put that on my belt, where so far I put my phone. I would need to put it in a different place, like a large and safe enough pocket. May work for ladies in their purse or hand bag. Could work in the week ends for me in my army shorts or my sportware vests, not with my sport bombers, but at work all large pockets in my formal jacket are already full, and my trouser pockets are not wide or safe enough for this phablet.

This is without a doubt my next phone! Samsung has delivered. Notice everything Alex had to say was positive. When was the last time you heard so much positivity in a device? That's right...not even the iPhone 5s. The Note 3 seems to be the best device Samsung has produced and that is saying quite a bit when comparing it to the successful S3,S4, and Note 2!!

If I could legally marry this phone I would... Although Its still a 7 or 8 out of 10 on the looks factor for me. Get rid of that dang physical button!!!!!!!!!! Also I don't need to be reminded in shiny chrome every single time I look at my phone that it's a Samsung. Kinda lime how HTC thinks you'd enjoy a logo over a usable button and Verizon thinks your are still excited about 4G LTE.

I was gonna pick one up till the issue with the Knox? When did Samsung become an it dev.

Posted via Android Central App

I just got a Note 3 and I love it but it is a work in progress to discover all the features, at least for me, when I have not used a smartphone in awhile. It's amazing.
