Sony has announced that it will be bringing its Vue streaming service to Android starting next week. The company is adding support for Roku devices now, and will be expanding to Android smartphones and tablets that run KitKat or above shortly. Chromecast support will be built in from the start, which means it will be easy to watch the content on your big screen.

From Sony's announcement:

Next week, we'll be launching the PlayStation Vue mobile app for Android, so you can use your existing subscription to access PlayStation Vue on Android smartphones and tablets (with OS v4.4 and higher) through our mobile app. It also supports Chromecast and other Google Cast-enabled devices. We'll provide more information on the launch date for Android soon, so stay tuned.
