Android Auto

Conventional wisdom has been that we'd not see Pandora support Android Auto anytime soon because of pre-existing partnerships within the car industry. Turns out that conventional wisdom was wrong, Pandora now supports Android Auto, and it does so simply and easily.

And there's really not much more to say. Plug in, fire up Pandora (just tap again on the music icon at the bottom of your screen) and you're good to go. From there you get a spartan Now Playing screen — just play/pause, forward, thumbs up/down and a little ribbon icon whose purpose escapes me. (If you've got an idea, leave it in the comments, please and thank you.) And the menu list shows your channels, and an option to shuffle.

And that's it. Simple, effective, and a nice little surprise for the Pandora fans out there.
