The NVIDIA Shield Android TV is receiving another update, this time to Software Upgrade 1.3, which brings along with it some much needed fixes. The previous update expanded support for 4K content, along with some streaming improvements, but there was still way more to be addressed. Included in version 1.3 are some improvements to Wi-Fi, along with the controller connectivity. Additionally, some optimizations have been made for newly released games and apps, and there are some new apps as well.
Version 1.3 is rolling out to Shield Android TV's over-the-air right now, and is around 654MB in size. If you have already received the update, be sure to let us know if it is addressing any Wi-Fi or other concerns you may have faced with the device already.
