Moto X now available for just $299 through Net10

Motorola Mobility has announced a new sale for the Moto X in the US via the Net10 Wireless provider, allowing its customers to purchase it for just $299 without a contract, along with 50 percent off the price for an optional case.

Normally the phone costs $399 but this $100 price cut is available from now until July 16 and allows for online Net10 customers to use the Moto Maker website to customize the look of the Android smartphone. There are a number of different color choices for the back side of the phone, along with its accents, and either black or white for the front of the phone.

Owners can have a short custom message placed on the back of the Moto X via Moto Maker. Finally, Net10 Wireless has a number of selections for optional cases, including a way for customers to buy one with their favorite college sport team logo.
