There's not much we can say about the MiKandi Adult Mobile Theater that isn't covered in the video above. Since the Android phone is for porn, you might as well get your porn the best way possible, right? Well MiKandi thinks the best way is to hit their site and download their app to bypass all the spam and bad porn that comes with Googling up a bit of skin. Promising to change the way you watch porn, the app delivers instant streaming from the "hottest" studios right to your device. We'll not argue. If you're going do it, do it up right. Hit the link below to check out MiKandi. Yeah, it's totally NSFW. You've been warned.

Really? We blogging bout porn at AC? I get what u trying to say with it...but then again ? Really? Kids log in here too....

dchawk81 says:

Kids are filthy minded by 14 these days. Anyone younger probably has no reason to be here.

This isn't exactly PBSkids.org...

I agree...'kid safe' is a friggin' joke. Youngsters get whatever they're after these days...and are usually belittled for any percieved lack of exposure to sex by their peer group.
Whoever was so worried about the porn app ( the ad for it) must be so terribly ignorant of reality.

codybear says:

Exactly... I learned more during the bus ride to school rather than in actual class. :D

14? haha.. try 10. Don't be in denial.

3rdpig says:

Trying to make the internet "kid safe" is a hopeless task, it's up to parents to safeguard their children, not the rest of us.

MannyB says:

Have to agree. If a kid is on the Internet, a parent should be watching them. It's way to easy to get to stuff that is much more damaging than an innocuous mention of a porn app. How about some of those violent flash games out there? If you don't want your child to see certain things on the Internet, you must sit with them 100% of the time that they are using the Internet. No need to censor it from adults who have a right to see it.

Deegan says:

Calm down...

SirGoogle says:

I agree njd. I had AC set as a link on my bookmarks bar, until today that is. But it syncs across all my computers, including my daughter. Whether some people generalize ALL kids are watching porn, this dad is by no means gonna make it easy.

davey0728 says:

Geeze dad, settle down. You're talkin about 1 article on 1 site.....if your daughter is smart enough to find this 1 article then she's probably already watchin porn and bangin dudes. It's all good, kids gotta grow up sooner or later...

dubge says:

its not like he is your real dad

jerseyboy357 says:

I have been using Mikandi for quite a long time. Pretty much THE app for pron. Direktor is pretty good too if you can ever find a good .apk of it
njd915 does have a point though just to be PC

Mr.Froyo says:

Read the title on a Google Reader widget, automatically knew Jerry wrote it. Well, this teens gonna go before this place gets creepy...

Deegan says:

So leave. Why do you need to post about it?

Mr.Froyo says:

My main point was that I automatically knew it was a Jerry article. Me saying I'm a teen was just tryingto be funny , something my friends tell me I'm not so good at, .That answer you're question?

Goodbye then young kid...I think I hear your mommy calling.

mhans311 says:

Good job. You can already see how creepy it got in here.

catpunt says:

Ugh porn news? I thought this was an Android enthusiast site...

Deegan says:

You didn't have to read this article, you did so on your own accord. Don't be stupid.

mhans311 says:

It's on the front page of AC. So he came to voice his opinion about the article. So what? You don't have to troll every comment from someone who doesn't like the article and doesn't want porn on their android site.

Deegan says:

Troll Haha! If porn offends you don't use the internet. This site reports on everything Android, remember? Take it easy I'm only voicing my opinion, nice to see you shoot me down for that as well. Take advise from your own post.

SirGoogle says:

Wait, what? "If porn offends you, don't use the internet." I love that bit. I know there are not many, but some web sites don't have any porn on them...not many. And as far as AC, they DO NOT report EVERYTHING Android. There are hundreds of apps that get no front page story at all. I get that, in this world, sex sells, but when I jump on the net, lol, it is not for porn. Porn offends me, still gonna use my interwebs...

Deegan says:

Because 100 posts a day about new apps would be such a cool site...

Justadye4 says:

soooo did this take the place of "Late Night Poll"????

ScottColbert says:

This is the late night pole.

cpolism says:

haha, pun very much intended!

Kool by me...

Deegan says:

This kicks ass AC! This article obviously has a nsfw tag, why complain about it, you knew what was coming you were warned.

Samsmalls says:

Wow... A little sensitive, Lefty Loosie. It's still Android news! & This is AC, report ALL Android related topics!

stopsign002 says:

Lawl

Lol t'naflix has a good app and it works nice on da Ps3

mikandi says:

Thank you for covering our new theater, Android Central! We tried to keep the promo video as SFW as possible, but it's hard to contain so much awesome.

Also, we really appreciate everyone's support. We may be an adult tech company, but we're committed to Android and are Android enthusiasts ourselves. In fact, wouldn't MiKandi's existence be a testament to how awesome Android is? The only mobile OS that gives adults freedom to make their own choices - such as the choice to develop an adult app store, and the choice to download it. ;)

james.buckey says:

+1

The Shag says:

Hell yeah. Obviously reading the comments here, not everyone is on board. The beautiful thing is that they don't have to be. This is a triumph of freedom. It's my phone and I can do whatever I damn well please, and I am damn well pleased by this.

codybear says:

"The only mobile OS that gives adults freedom to make their own choices - such as the choice to develop an adult app store, and the choice to download it. "
Very much so agreed..

Bratag says:

Really the title has the words PORN and NSFW in it - yet every little nooblet in the place has to log click it then get all offended when its about PORN and NSFW!!!

This is why there needs to be a goddamn age requirement to get access to the internet I swear.

badcat says:

Well stated. Bravo. There should be an IQ requirement as well.

SirGoogle says:

Actually, the preview pic has more than I want to see, without clicking a single thing. Yes, that is offensive. I didnt watch the video or click the link, but I got more than I bargained for just by visiting one of my favorite sites.

badcat says:

Then do like most of the rest of us do, move on... I've seen plenty of things on the net I don't like or approve of. But I also understand that's just the way it is. I'm starting to tire of all the fabricated outrage over every little thing that offends our delicate sensibilities. Just move on if you don't like something.

1966cah says:

Funny then that your name is "SirGoogle" since even with their best safe filter on, NSFW images and links sometimes slip through in Google searches. Really man, this whole "I am so delicate and my feelings were hurt" crap these days is just sad.

james.buckey says:

Really need to be a fancy man to be offended by the preview pic. Bad enough to be offended by porn...but further still offended by a non-nude picture? Why do we put so much weight on the naked body? If you take society's false mindset around sex away, you are left with something no different in raw action as a McDonald's commercial. People eating food, or having sex. Nothing more than two things evolution designed us to do, and do as much as possible.

dmikestolz says:

None of the apps will install they all say parse error

Downloaded it to see what it was about because I don't watch porn (none of us do) and took that shit off quick when the wife walked in the room.

Deegan says:

I'd you don't watch Porn, why did you download a PORN app?

Deegan says:

*double post* >_<

Sarcasm

njd915 says:

Well then we should talk about every porn app then...that's the best thing invented for android...according to apple.....so then let's keep reviewing all the porn apps and see which one is the best! Let's put a poll or something...

Brainerd says:

Free speech is great. I'm a big fan of it. And kids will find porn, if they're looking for it. However, this is not an article that should be on the front page of AC. IMHO.

I'm also a fan of Jerry and AC. No hard feelings. I'm just making a simple request to consider not posting "adult" information on the front page of this great news site. Let kids who are into technology not be subjected to adult material or methods to access adult material (unless they choose to do so...then they will certainly find a way to get to it.)

Thanks for your site and for your consideration concerning this issue.

mr nruz says:

yesssssssss!! porn

ow7iee says:

I don't get why some people are upset by this article.. It's just porn! We all have sex don't we? We're all just humans, you exist thanks to two people got horny and had sex!
Porn is bad and it f'**s up peoples minds... BOOOOOOOOOH!! :)

If you don't like it, don't even read. It's as simple as that...
I bet most of the people who complain are the biggest wankers in reality!

SirGoogle says:

I love the generalizing you do in your comment. You do know that reproduction is not porn, right? Yeah, porn hasn't messed up your view of things at all...has it? Not everyone wants to open up AC and, without even clicking a thing, have tied up women and nude dudes right on the front page. It makes the page itself NSFW.

Zookeeper says:

Just removed AC from my favorites bar

jonathan3579 says:

Bye bye!

SirGoogle says:

I removed it as well. I saw the article name while at work, and the filter blocked the preview image for the vid. After viewing AC from my laptop, the PREVIEW pic has someone with a rope gagging them? Seriously AC? I didnt have to watch the video or even click the link, but there it is, a gagged woman and a naked dude. Not cool AC.

ReaganDee says:

Who doesn't like their women gagged?

well let me get in on this it's an adult world billboards for strip clubs exist, half dressed cheerleaders at highschool games exist, tv commercials movie previews, hell even a few disney shows are gonna show teen girls in bikinis, if you reallyhad that big of a problem with the damn article you would contact the site by email and not take to the comment section meaning you had to open the article watch the video that I'm sure ull deny viewing and then try and defend your values morals or whatever you want to use to justify even continuing to come back to the same article you have an issue with to see whos trolling your self righteous comments

mr nruz says:

^^ zookeeper is a f@#$%ing f@g big time. go suck on a bible

jonathan3579 says:

It's funny how people knowingly clicked on the article knowing what it's about. I don't recall ever being forced to click on it. Sure, there was a voice in the back of my head that said, "Do it! You know you wanna!" At any rate, some of you need to really chill the hell out. Meh...

Ricky Babalu says:

See what you did "Jerry"................
The boys in "camp A" are trying to convince "camp B" on their point of view; Likewise, "camp B" is trying to convince "camp A" on their point of view. Meanwhile, it's getting HOT in here! This is a no win situation.

raindog469 says:

Took a look at MiKandi. I know 80-90% of porn consumers are straight guys, but looking for the kinds of adult material I enjoy in a catch-all section simply called "gay" is never going to get me to spend a dime. Not that I've bought porn in a decade -- between Yahoo groups and Tumblr, there's more material for my tastes than I'd ever have time to enjoy -- but figured I'd look anyway. Using Android convinced me to buy and play mobile games for the first time (World of Goo, and then the last two Humble Bundles) so you never know.

And if you work somewhere so sensitive that the teaser image for this post matters, and you browse the web at work with images on, maybe you need to change something. I've seen more explicit stuff in banner ads on other tech sites. It takes like 30 seconds to install Stylish and another 30 to write a global style that forces all images to smaller-than-icon size for discreet browsing. Learn some self-preservation.

mikandi says:

Thanks for bringing up a great point. We understand that creating a gay catch-all category comes across as if we are unaware or do not care as much about the wide variety of niches around LGBT content. It's a common problem that many adult sites handle in the same way. However, helping our users find exactly what they want fast is one of our top priorities, so we definitely take your comment to heart.

To give you a little history of why the market is categorized as it is today: when we first launched we figured it would be easier for folks to start off discovering apps based on broad categories of types of apps vs the types of content e.g. entertainment apps, games, books, etc. We wanted app developers to provide users more specificity on app content through tagging and descriptions. In reality, without a category specifically titled "gay", many users simply assumed the market offered no gay apps, then it quickly became a top request. So as a temporary and quick solution we decided to add this category (although all categories still feature all content types) until we improve the tagging and personalization features. Please know that this is our long term solution, so we hope you check us out.

btw, mikandi offers a ton of great free apps that will give yahoo groups or tumblr a run for their money. :)

ggr says:

what the devil is NSFW?

"Yeah, it's totally NSFW. You've been warned."

What happened to just saying "nudity"?

Not Safe For Work. (I had to look it up! LOL!)

most comments ever? and its for a porn app this is awesome and everyone needs to chill sex is a natural thing better to confront it then to ignore it.

BigKenW says:

You know, reading the comments on this article were more interesting than the article itself. Bunch of repressed people here. I get their argument for kids use though.

Age restrictions aren't going to stop a kid from seeing porn or accessing other age restricted sites, as I can attest for tons of 8 year old kids on Facebook. Parents can't watch their kids either 24/7; it is impossible.

Parents - Do yourself a favor and talk to your kids about sex so it doesn't warp their minds and they have a healthy view of it. Set expectations with them and tell them when they aren't old enough to understand what they are seeing. Let them know when they are doing something that isn't acceptable. You know, parent, and your kids will turn out alright.

PS - Honestly, I waited to watch the video until after reading everyone's posts. It turns out that the ad is kinda comedic and it gets it's point across without being insanely out of control. It also didn't appear to show anything that a kid can't see in any non-adult magazine. I might have even labeled this article SLIGHTLY NSFW vs NSFW.

Kegman says:

Good article and completely appropriate for this site and tastefully written. You can't please everyone. To the complainers, talk to your kids about sex. Your13 Ur old daughters have seen more d**ks than us fathers

james.buckey says:

If a kid sees a booby or wee-wee....does anything really happen? really? We are a nation of 20 year old toddlers. Stop demanding that everything matters. Useless worrying about a nothing problem.
