Kyocera Wireless has announced that they will be developing a new smartphone specifically tailored for the Android OS. Kyocera will be working with Wind River, a middleware company that offers UI integration, to create the Android Device.
Though no date was specifically mentioned, it has been reported that Wind River's systems won't be ready until mid-2009. So we can assume that the Kyocera Android device will come some time after that timeframe. Anyone excited to see another phone maker jump on the Android bandwagon?

Wasn't Wind River the company that assisted Palm with their Foleo device?
