Press release:

Kicked TV - Crowdfunding Ideas You Need To Know About

YouTube channel and content series highlights the coolest people and products from the world of crowdfunding

New York, NYMobile Nations, an industry leader in tech media publishing, today unveiled its newest brand: Kicked (www.kicked.tv), a video series dedicated to the most compelling projects emerging from crowdfunding platforms including Kickstarter, Indiegogo, AngelList and more.

In addition to Kicked's YouTube channel, Kicked shows are also published to Facebook and iTunes.

  • Kicked Weekly is recorded in-studio with hosts Dan Verville and Kim Gesell. Each week they list off the top five crowdfunding ideas in under four minutes
  • Kicked #BTS debuts interviews with company founders and innovators that tell the story "behind the startup"
  • Kicked Reviews goes hands-on with pre-release and new-to-market products and services that are launching via crowdfunding

"Our audience prides itself on being early adopters," said Kevin Michaluk, Chief Media Officer of Mobile Nations. "Historically, the products we've gotten most excited about have come from large, established companies. Crowdfunding is changing that. Now, thanks to the entrepreneurs and innovators, the community of backers and the social networks that connect us all, new and exciting projects can come from anywhere and anyone. That's why we're launching Kicked, to tap into that energy and passion, and to help bring attention to all the great ideas and the people behind them."

Kicked has already highlighted Space Case 1 - the World's Most Advanced Smart Suitcase, BUDDY - the family companion robot and V4 - the World's Most Advanced Adult Pogo Stick, with many more to come.

Kicked wants to hear about crowdfunding campaigns before they're announced

While the Kicked team constantly searches the internet for the coolest — and sometimes craziest — ideas each and every week, campaign creators are encouraged to reach out before they launch. To get your project in front of the Kicked team, contact info@kicked.tv.
