Agreed. I have the white/silver/whatever it's called M7 and love it. And I usually hate lighter colored phones.

I'm going to buy two of these, just to smash them.

And flys out of your hand like a wet bar of soap. Had the gunmetal and took it back. The silver has an awesome look and feel to it.

The Glacier Silver isn't as slippery as the Gunmetal Gray, right? I think I might prefer that, and its white trim, although I can see why the gunmetal is popular.

The gunmetal is ridiculously slippery. I dropped my brother's on his bed when he handed it to me since I was so used to the grippy nature of black Note 3 :P

My Silver M7 slips out of my hands constantly. I had to do the unthinkable and put a case on it. :(

You could try using a skin. I had the problem with the M7 and put a skin on the back (only the middle part). Check Dbrand, they make great removable vinyl skins for the M7 and other devices.

Why didn't HTC offer this color when I bought my developer edition One M8? Oh well but I do like the gunmetal grey so its cool

This is precisely why I ended up with the unlocked version instead of the DE.

Because of you guys, I knew they'd have it today. Called the store and they guy told me he'd check, came back 30 secs later and said they didn't.

Of course they did and I bought it from a different guy, same store.

Love it so far, but KK is causing my SD issues that my Note 3 with KK didn't have.

Yeah, something the reviews never mentioned since they all only reviewed the gunmetal grey model.

So the color of the phone makes a difference on how the phone feels in your hands? I have also heard people say this about about the s5. Apparently the white feels different from the black. All colors feel the same to me when I try them out. * kanye shrug *

They achieve the different colors through different treatments of the metal. That's why different colors have different feels.

Hahaha... People were reporting differences in the materials if I remember correctly, the black one being soft-touch. I could be wrong though.

Black S5 has an actual faux leather back no? If so I'd imagine the white S5 to have the plastic back that is texturized to look like faux leather as was with the Note 3 series.

I wonder if I can take my Gun Metal back and exchange it. How much do u all think they would charge me for that?

If it's not past the 14 day return period yeah if not then you're beat sir

My hands are like sandpaper (work) most of the time, so the gunmetal feels like any other phone to me... Not slippery at all.

The amber Version is the best. Not as slippery as gunmetal, very premium looks. The pictures don't do it justice. It is more silver than gold. Very subtle hue.

I thought this phone coupled with the color was so ugly before, but after seeing it in person,I think the gunmetal is really nice! But I can imagine how slippery it is because of the finish.
