Barnes and Noble just posted up a new teaser video for their upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook tablet and it features none other than Grumpy Cat who offers some thoughts on the device that's been co-developed with Samsung.

We won't give away what this Internet sensation thought about the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook, but let's just say that Grumpy Cat may be getting a little soft compared with the feline's normally negative viewpoints. The rest of the video shows real owners of previous Nook tablets who are checking out the tablet. They all seem to be impressed, but the device itself is only shown from the back. By the way, the video does state at the end that each of these folks was given a Nook tablet for their time.

Samsung and Barnes and Noble are still planning to hold a press event in New York City on Wednesday, August 20 for the formal introduction of the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook, where we should learn a lot more about this interesting partnership. In the meantime, what do you think of Barnes and Noble bringing in Grumpy Cat to help tease the tablet?

ok maybe they should have just used that image...lol

I think it makes him look a bit disinterested and a bit hipsterish in attitude....kinda like "yeah whatever, it doesnt suck"

Ignoring the cat, but did I just see someone with tattoos below the elbow in a commercial? Thought that was a taboo for anything "family friendly", did anyone else notice?

They're about two years behind the grumpy cat meme being popular. I don't understand how big business don't realize these things.

Perfect reply. Grumpy Cat will never be old. We will love her and her grumpy ways after she had faded from the world of memes.

I hate these commercials with Joe Schmoe off the street that doesn't know anything about tech.. "oohh... I like it, is it made by Apple?" The sad thing is that people go and by things based on commercials of other people stating that they like IT! Oh well.. to each their own. I would rather have a full in depth look at the device and know its capabilities. I know it is just a teaser commercial but this was terrible.

People actually look at tablets and say things like "Oh my gosh this is soooo incredible!!!" ???? I think not. It's no longer 2010 and unless that tablet has some seriously mind bending tech inside... It's all pretty commonplace by now.
