Google's Flight Search feature lands in India

Google is making it easy for Indian customers to find great deals on flights by launching its Flight Search feature in the country. The service, which was first launched in the US in 2012, lets customers access flight tariffs from a variety of airlines, and suggests the best fares based on the route selected.

Interested users can head to Google Flights to avail the service. The feature shows live prices for destinations around the globe. Lowest fares for a selected route are shown by default, and you can also track fluctuations in prices to gauge how prices vary based on the season. There's the option to book tickets for selected flights from within the page, along with saving and sharing your itinerary.

The service can be accessed via mobile as well as the desktop site. Indian readers, what do you guys think of Google's offering? Will you be using it over services such as MakeMyTrip anytime soon?
