Google teams up with Udacity to offer Android developer nanodegrees in India
Google is collaborating with Udacity in launching a series of Android developer nanodegrees in the country. The course will offer students the tools and skillset required to create great apps for mobile:
Duration of the nanodegree ranges from six to twelve months, and will cost ₹9,800 ($148) a month. The price is steep, but Udacity has mentioned that it will refund half the tuition back to students upon successful completion of the course. Those that finish the nanodegree will receive a certificate and job placement assistance, two key factors in landing a job in a country that already boasts over 3 million developers.
Google is also partnering with Tata Trusts in offering 1,000 scholarships to the program. More details can be found here.
