Google recently launched its offline search and navigation in Google Maps, and now the company is expanding the feature to users in India as well. With the offline navigation and search, you are able to select an area of a map and have it downloaded, so that if you drop your data connection you won't be lost. Once downloaded, you are able to navigate to and from destinations, as well as search for points of interest within that area.

The feature is now available in India, so be sure you have the latest version of Google Maps installed from Google Play.
