Google has greatly expanded the availability of their mobile products. The Nexus 5 smartphone, Nexus 7 tablet, and Chromecast have each added new countries to their lists. The Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 can now be purchased in Norway and Switzerland.

If you don't mind your gadgets refurbished, head over to Ebay and grab a 16 GB Nexus 7 2013 tablet for $149. Newegg is selling the tablet on Ebay for $50 less than what it is available for on its own store. A brand new 16 GB Nexus 7 2013 Wi-Fi model retails for $229, although you can get one for $195 on Amazon.

Google is teaming up with Asus to offer a £50 Play Store credit in the UK along with a purchase of the 16 GB Nexus 7 2013. Customers purchasing from a variety of UK retailers like Asda , Carphone Warehouse, Currys, Tesco and Very are eligible to receive the Play Store credit. While this doesn't reduce the price of the already affordable tablet, it does help to sweeten the pot quite a bit.
Heads up, folks. You can get a black Nexus 7 2013 — of the 32GB variety — for just $169.99 on eBay today. It's refurbished, which means it's not brand-new. But you can't really beat this price.
You get a 90-day warranty along with it.
The question on the tip of everyone's tongue, however, is how long before we see this guy get replaced?
The 'Bright Red' Nexus 7 Folio is pretty great, except when it tarnishes your Nexus 7
One of Google's official Nexus 7 cases, the Nexus 7 Folio, came out back in December as it started to build up first-party case offerings for the tablet. It set folks back a cool $49, but when I reviewed it I found that it wasn't as extravagantly expensive as it may seem at first glance. The case is solid,...
20 countries now have access to both of the latest Nexus devices
Along with the expansion of the Chromecast to a handful of new countries and Google Play Music and Movies coming to dozens of new countries, even more people can now also get their hands on the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 directly from Google Play. The latest Nexus phone is now available in Austria, Belgium, Portugal and Sweden, taking...

A quick heads up for any Brits looking to pick up a 2013 Nexus 7 that Staples has a great deal on right now. Better still, you can have one delivered to your local store for free, in-store pickup if you wish.
For the money, the...
A quick heads up that Verizon's got its LTE-capable Nexus 7 listed at just $49 with a two-year contract. Not necessarily a route we'd recommend at this point, more than halfway through the tablet's cycle (assuming a refresh this year, anyway). But if you've just got to get one and are looking to do so as cheaply as possible — and don't mind signing a contract to do so — this might work for ya.
A quick look at an expensive but capable Qi charger
We love us some wireless charging here at Android Central. And so we quickly scooped up the ASUS PW100 after it was announced through a YouTube video.
The short, short version? It's a pretty cool stand/charger, but it's expensive. And it only charges the Nexus 7 (2013) horizontally, not vertically. It does, however, work just fine with the...
Plug it in or go wireless, the choice is yours
If you've got a Nexus 7 (2013), then you know what it's like to charge it. You have to do crazy things like plug it in or set it on a tiny little pad to go inductive. Asus knows how much of a hassle this is, so today they announced the Asus Dock for Nexus 7 (2013) and the Asus PW100 Wireless Charging Stand.
The Asus Dock for Nexus 7 (2013),...

Android 4.4.2_r2 now ready for flashing and disassembly
If you didn't get the small OTA for the LTE Nexus 7 that went out the other day to enable support for Verizon's 4G network — or if you're the type who likes to tear things apart and see what's changed — Google has now posted a full factory image.
Supposedly there are no changes other than providing (better) support for Verizon, but it's...
Additional $79 accessory bundle includes Chromecast, screen protectors and car charger
Right on schedule, Verizon has listed the Nexus 7 (2013) on its online store. $249.99 and two years of your life gets you the 32GB LTE-enabled and fully Verizon-certified Nexus 7, which can be added to your Share Everything plan for just $10 or set up on its own account. If you choose to pass up the contract...

37MB file enables full compatibility with Verizon's LTE network, still Android 4.4.2
Your LTE-equipped Nexus 7 should be seeing an update today that adds "Full compatibility with Verizon's 4G LTE network" — though plenty of people are using it with no issues and no update. Build KVT49L is just 37MB, and doesn't show us anything new or exciting, but we'll take any update we can get, right?
We've got skins, hybrids, flip cases and protective films for the Google Nexus 7 (2013) and we're showing off which ones make an impression with customers and staff here at ShopAndroid.com.
Your Nexus tablet needs adequate protection against damage and using it without a case is risky business. While a naked tablet is acceptable for some, having a bit of collateral can make a huge difference...
Grab some protection for your tablet or phone at a discount
Google Play is running a promotion to offer 25 percent off select Nexus 5 and 7 accessories for a limited time. See what your AC editors are playing on their Nexus 7 tablets when they should be working
I'm not going to lie. A job that involves playing great games on an equally great tablet like the Nexus 7 is amazeballs. We look through and evaluate hundreds of new apps each month, and plenty of them are games. Then we get choosy, and make sure you know about the best ones. It's a responsibility we take...
Same case, louder color option
Google Play is again expanding its Nexus accessory ranks with a new color of the Nexus 7 Sleeve. Now sitting alongside the black, grey and yellow options is a new bright red version adorned with the same subtle "Nexus" branding and black accent stitching. The sleeve offers a good bit of protection for either generation of the Nexus 7 as well.
We're starting to...

Nexus 5 support also on hold for the time being
The poor Galaxy Nexus just can't catch a break. It, along with the Nexus 10 and the 2012 version of the Nexus 7 have been dropped from Ubuntu Touch support by Canonical. Also, support for the Nexus 5 is on hold. Of course, the question everyone has is why.
Alexander Sack explains on the Ubuntu-phone team mailing list. The folks behind the project...
