Arguably one of the best games for Android phones, Despicable Me: Minion Rush, just got a new content update with fresh mayhem from Super Silly Fun Land. It's a whole new theme park-style environment to play in which includes a hidden roller coaster and a puppeteer supervillain. There's a new power-up and new costumes to blow your hard-earned tokens on, though, as always, you can buy your way to the top with in-app purchases.
Even though the Despicable Me movies are little more than a memory, the franchise has done a heck of a job staying alive through this game. There characters are undeniably charming, for one. The gameplay, though rooted in a done-to-death genre, remains fresh with constantly shifting camera angles, minigame modes, and continual content updates like this one. Yeah, it's freemium, but it's almost cute enough to forgive. How much time have you guys put into Minion Rush? What's your top score?
