Pushbullet now lets you answer text messages on your computer

24

The latest update to Pushbullet has recently been updated so SMS notifications that are mirrored on your desktop can actually let you reply to the message. Just click in the notification, type on your luxuriously huge desktop keyboard, hit enter, and away it goes. This feature was enabled for a few select partner apps before, but now it should work across the board. Another recent update allowed for a shared clipboard, so you could copy text on one device and paste in another.

Poll: Will the 'black bar' keep you from buying a Moto 360?

114
Moto 360

As we near the official release of the Moto 360 next week, speculation and parsing of the little information we have has gone rampant. While we don't know a whole lot about the watch — even though we've held it in our own hands — we do know that the big sore spot for many is the so-called "black bar" at the bottom of the display. A seemingly-necessary bit of technology is smushed down at the bottom of the Moto 360's display, and while it doesn't actually take much away from the experience, it sure is hard to miss once you've noticed it.

With the launch date approaching, we really want to know what you think — will the black bar on the bottom of the Moto 360's display keep you from picking up this otherwise-attractive smartwatch? Be sure to vote in our poll.

HTC One Mini 2 versus Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini

HTC One Mini 2, Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini

How do HTC and Samsung's miniature flagships measure up?

The vast number of mid-range Android devices on the market means there's no shortage of choice for those wanting a smaller, less expensive handset. This year, both HTC and Samsung have fielded "mini" versions of their popular high-end offerings in this form factor, both with 4.5-inch displays and similar hardware loadouts.

As is the case at the high end, HTC and Samsung's mid-level offerings reflect the differences in the two companies' approaches to smartphone design. HTC leads with a flashy metallic chassis and carefully considered software; Samsung is all about expandability and features — what the phone can do more than how it looks.

So it's time to pit these mid-range "minis" against each other. Joins us after the break to see how the Galaxy S5 Mini and HTC One Mini 2 compare.
