Shopping for stuff at Amazon just got a new wrinkle with the latest update to the Android Amazon app. Not only does it support the new Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, it also includes an Android Wear app for buying things directly from a supported smartwatch.
As rumored, the Nexus 6 has started to go up for pre-order in the UK today. The device is available in Midnight Blue from Amazon UK starting at £499 ($780), with an estimated release date of December 15.
Unlocked-Mobiles has also commenced pre-orders for the Nexus 6 in the UK at the same price. The retailer is selling the 32 GB version of the device in Midnight Blue, with stock set to arrive during the first week of December. Carphone Warehouse is now listing both storage variants of the device in Midnight Blue and Cloud White colors, with the 32GB model on offer for £499 ($780), and the 64GB version for £549 ($860).
Nokia announced its first Android tablet today, but the company has also been working on its Z Launcher for Google's OS, which is now available for everyone. The launcher itself has just hit open beta with an update to include some improvements before being shipped out to compatible Android smartphones.

Indian retailer Flipkart has started taking pre-orders for the Nexus 6, with orders set to ship from the second week of December. The pricing of the device is similar to what is being listed on the Indian Play Store, with the 32GB version priced at Rs. 43,999 ($715) and the 64GB variant at Rs. 49,999 ($793). The Cloud White and Midnight Blue color variants are on offer with the retailer.
