A new feature has just launched for Google's social networking service Google+ that allows you to restrict your posts based on your audience's age or location. This way, you can set filters for the content you create to make sure it's not viewable by children, or that you can share your Google+ posts to your peers without the peering eyes of parents. Businesses can also use the new feature to restrict content based on where they want promotions to happen.

How to 'hack' Tinder in under two minutes so you can browse for matches anywhere in the world

43
Tinder, Tinder, Everywhere!

This is how you fake the GPS Location on your phone to tell Tinder you're somewhere else!

Tinder should really be spelled T - R - O - U - B - L - E because one of these days that's what this popular dating app is going to get me into! I love Tinder. I can't help it. It's not that I'm browsing for hook-ups or dating partners or anything like that. I'm in a relationship. I'm happy. I just find it really entertaining to swipe through photos of real people. Some people spend all day looking at photos of cats. Personally, I'd rather look at photos of women. To each their own. No judging. I have a few friends who do the same thing as me, so I know I'm not totally alone in this behavior.

The trouble with Tinder of course is that in order to browse Tinder, you need to put yourself on Tinder. And with Tinder showing matches based on your preferences of sex, age and distance from your location — up to a max of 100 mile radius — it's highly possible that somebody you know will see you on Tinder. Depending on your relationship status... well... like I said... that could spell TROUBLE when you get spotted by somebody who doesn't think you should be on Tinder. For that reason, I've only ever fired up Tinder when I'm traveling and am far away from home and those odds of being recognized are minimal.

Path Talk will call local businesses so you don't have to

10

Path Talk has launched a new feature called Places, where you can find a local business within the social networking app, and you can send an instant message to that business. That message actually goes to a Path Agent who will call on your behalf and do stuff like make a reservation, check store hours, or see if they have your size of shirt. Surprisingly enough, this service is offered for free in the U.S. and Canada.

Huawei Ascend Mate 7 review

Huawei Ascend Mate 7

Huawei is back with another crack at the oversized smartphone, and it might be the Chinese manufacturer's best device yet

Huawei has been stepping up its game of late, with modern Android devices that are significantly better than its earlier offerings. The world's No. 3 smartphone vendor is more of a household name in Asia than in Western markets; nevertheless it's shown it's serious about making inroads in Europe and North America.

The Ascend Mate series, it's fair to say, hasn't dazzled us yet, and it takes more than a "me too" approach to make a great oversized smartphone. Earlier in 2014 the Ascend P7 arrived and was the best Huawei device to date, with a premium design and high-end specs. Then the Ascend Mate 7 landed at IFA 2014 in Berlin. And as we've discovered in recent weeks, it's actually pretty good. Read on to find out why.
