Dell Cast brings wireless tablet mirroring to the boardroom

Dell has launched a new dongle awfully similar to Google's own Chromecast, except with a few key differences. Like Chromecast, the Dell Cast plugs into the HDMI slot on a TV or projector, and is powered over USB. However, you can then pair up a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, and once set to Productivity mode through the coupled Android app, the Dell Cast builds a classic desktop-style layout on the larger screen.

On September 9th, 1999, the origin story for Mobile Nations began when VisorCentral launched from my student apartment at University of Florida. Immediately the website became a fixture of the Handspring Visor online community by delivering high quality and reliable news, articles, reviews, and an active forum.

UK supermarket giant Tesco has announced it will be putting plans to launch a smartphone on hold. The company planned to launch its own branded smartphone under the same Hudl umbrella as its tablet (pictured above), which would see Tesco develop an affordable 4G smartphone. But after analyzing the highly competitive smartphone market, Tesco has decided to put the smartphone dream on hold for now and focus on its Hudl tablet.

Galaxy Alpha slated to launch in the UK on September 12, hitting Germany later this month

Along with Canada, the Galaxy Alpha will be making its way to the UK, where the device is slated to launch September 12, and Germany, with availability set to commence on September 29. Vodafone doubling bundled entertainment on its Red 4G plans

Vodafone has today announced the UK mobile operator will be packing more entertainment into Red 4G plans for a limited time. Between September 12 and November 3, customers who sign up to 4G with Vodafone will be able to enjoy Netflix for 6 months and Sky Sports Mobile or Spotify Premium at no extra cost. As well as the bundled entertainment options, Vodafone will offer unlimited 4G data for the first three months.
