1. Acer Liquid Leap+

An updated version of Acer's Liquid Leap fitness tracker hit U.S. shelves this week. The Liquid Leap+ is an all-touch device with the usual spread of fitness tracking, mobile notification mirroring, and media control. It's waterproof, so you can take it along for a swim. It charges over microUSB, so no need for a custom cable. Best of all, it works not only with Android, but iOS and Windows too. For a limited time, the Liquid Leap+ is being offered at a discount from its normal $100 price tag.

2. JBL Flip 3

The Flip 3 is a new Bluetooth speaker that boasts improved audio quality and splash protection over the previous generation. It can be paired with up to three other devices, and other JBL Connect speakers for a wider range of sound. There's even some new noise cancellation hardware for taking calls. The Flip 3 is shipping from Europe to start, but expect a more global release shortly. If you're in the market for more waterproof wireless speakers, take a gander at iMore's latest roundup.

3. Incipio offGRID for Galaxy S6

Incipio has churned out an inventive new case that provides extra battery life and microSD memory to the Samsung Galaxy S6. The included USB slot supports Quick Charge pass-through, which is one less compromise to worry about. NFC still works, though you'll have to sacrifice wireless charging. You'll have to flip a switch to pick between getting an extra charge from the 3,700 mAh backup, or accessing an SD card up to 128 GB, but in the end you're getting extra juice, more storage, and protection to boot. Phil has been digging this case, so be sure to read his impressions.

4. Sony Smart Speaker

An especially fancy speaker from Sony was made available this week which offers hands-free voice interaction. Functions include weather updates, alarm clock, phone calls, messages, and calendar reminders. The wheels underneath allow the speaker to follow you as you're talking to it, and the two ears on the top pop out and change color depending on the task. It even has a dance mode when you want to party. In the grand scheme of wireless speakers Sony's BSP60 may be overkill, but it is awfully imaginative.

5. Android Mini Summer Series

The real hardcore Android fans out there will already have a couple of these Android collectible miniatures. Dead Zebra has recently released two new Android minis for the summer: a swimmer with a fake shark fin and a sunburned lifeguard. If you want to go all-out, you can also bundle in the BBQ pack. They're fun, they're cute, and let's face it, they'll look great on your desk.
