AT&T adds free roaming in Mexico on its Mobile Share Value plan

AT&T has announced that customers on its Mobile Share Value plans will be able to take advantage of free roaming while in Mexico starting November 13. To make things a bit sweeter, AT&T will be including 1GB of data to use in Mexico at no additional cost, and each gig beyond that will cost $20 each. There will be no upfront cost for the free roaming, or the first gig of data in Mexico, which is great for anyone who travels frequently.

The new option begins on Friday, November 13, and it must be added to each line. Unfortunately, Mexico data does not roll over, so you will just be given one full gig of data at the beginning of each billing cycle. It's great to see various carriers making international use more consumer friendly.
