ASUS Chromebit

At the Google for India event in New Delhi, the search giant announced that the ASUS Chromebit — a full-fledged Chrome OS machine the size of a HDMI stick — will be launching in the country in January for ₹7,999 ($120).

The Chromebit is Google's alternative to the Intel Compute Stick, an HDMI dongle powered by an Intel Atom CPU that runs Windows 10. The Compute Stick is currently available in the country for ₹8,348 ($124).
