Motorola has set May 13th as the date that they will unveil their next smartphone, and we'll be there to tell you all about it. The event, which will take place in London, will see the introduction of "the next smartphone from Motorola to make these connections happen." The phone is said to be "made to last" and "priced for all", though the invitation is mum on any specifics about the phone. We...
The much anticipated OnePlus One will see general availability in mid-to-late June according to a post in its official forums. The Samsung Galaxy S5 marketing train continues to roll with a series of new ads that focus on individual features of the phone. There's one for the selective focus feature in the camera – up top – as well as one for the ultra power saving mode and for the S-Health application.
A week out from Huawei's launch event in Paris, photos of what's claimed is the new Ascend P7 have made their way out onto the Internet. Design wise the P7 looks to be an iteration on its predecessor, the Ascend P6, but with some subtle changes and a bump in hardware and software.
Save the date, May 27 is when we'll see what's next from LG
The LG G3 is going to be with us very soon, as LG has started sending out invites to press for an event on May 27 in 6 cities around the world. London, New York, San Francisco, Singapore, Istanbul and Seoul will all see the introduction of LG's newest flagship smartphone for 2014 on the very same day. LG's going big this time.
Surprisingly high-quality build and subtle design choices with an industry-leading price point have us intrigued
We've just wrapped up an event here in San Francisco with CyanogenMod and OnePlus, where we finally have our hands on the much-awaited OnePlus One. This much-hyped device has drawn a good number of followers (and critics) over the past few months with an interesting marketing...
The LG G3 is very quickly becoming something of an open secret. We know the UI is getting a refresh, the screen will be 1440p, and the buttons, while redesigned, will still be on the back. Our first look at those redesigned buttons came over the weekend, and now courtesy of leaker @evleaks, we have a bigger and clearer look at them.
They're like the buttons on the LG G2 and the LG G Flex, but...
Our own Mark Guim sits down with HTC's Jeff Gordon to take a look at the Harman/Kardan edition of the HTC One M8, announced today as a Sprint exclusive.
It's the same M8 we've been using for a month or so no, only in a new color and with some special sauce from Harman/Kardan on board. It'll be available online on May 2, and in Sprint stores on May 9.
If you've been eyeing the Sony Z Ultra Google Play edition but couldn't stomach the price, have a look here. T'was $649, now available for $449. Plus free ground shipping, so there's that. Basically this extra-large smartphone — again, it's pretty damned huge at 6.4 inches — has gone from oversized and overpriced to merely "Damn, that's big."
Still, you're going to have to ask yourself why you...
Spotify discount sweetens the deal for those on a Sprint 'Framily' plan

This is basically the same M8 we've come to know and love — be sure to...

The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is part smartphone, part camera — and one hell of an interesting product. It's got a 20.7-megapixel sensor sitting atop a 4.8-inch smartphone running Android 4.4 KitKat. It's got all the connectivity you'd expect in a modern device. And while it departs a bit from your typical smartphone design — mainly because it's got a rather large (by most smartphone standards,...

This is an Android-based system, running Android 4.4 KitKat. Samsung's got a suite of custom software on board as well, including a "lite" version...

You might be pleasantly surprised by what comes in the box with your new Galaxy S5
Something that we don't usually pay much attention to when reviewing new phones like the Samsung Galaxy S5 is the stuff that's actually in the box with the phone. Like the earbuds. Sometimes that's with good reason, but in the case of Samsung's latest we maybe shouldn't be so hasty.
Ok, so if you're using a...

The super-security focused Blackphone was first announced at Mobile World Congress in February, but today we're learning a little more about what makes it tick. Initial launch materials didn't specify exactly which CPU would be powering the Blackphone, but today sees the announcement that it will in fact be a Tegra 4i.
The LG G2 Mini was first launched back in February as Mobile World Congress was getting underway and one UK retailer today drops word that it will begin shipping it from April 30. The folks at Clove Technology will have them ready to send you from this Wednesday priced at £250 inclusive of VAT.
Vestel probably isn't a brand many of you will be familiar with, but speaking at the IFA Global Press Conference in its native Turkey, CEO Turan Erdogan, delivered some candid reasonings behind his company's expansion into smartphones for the first time. In short, they can't afford not to be in that market anymore.
And here we have what probably is our first real look at what's believed to be the hardware for the upcoming LG G3, as seen in a leak to GSM Arena. Unsurprisingly, the volume and power buttons remain on the back, just below the camera lens. (Hey, LG wasn't named "most innovative device manufacturer of the year" for nothing.) Interesting, though, is the sensor to the left of the lens. Possible...
