Although LG announced five colors for the LG G3 — Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Moon Violet, and Burgundy Red — during the device's unveiling in May, the last two variants are yet to see the light of day. LG has announced today that it will be launching the Moon Violet and Burgundy Red coloured versions of the G3 next month in select markets.

OnePlus announced on its forums that it is interested in launching the OnePlus One in India someday, citing the device's popularity in the country. The hardware vendor mentioned that India currently ranks eighth in terms of overall traffic, outweighing several launch countries.
Latest M8 update is Android 4.4.4 in all but name
Right on schedule, unlocked and developer edition HTC One M8 devices in the U.S. are today receiving an update to Android 4.4.3 KitKat. The upgrade, which according to HTC also includes the security fixes rolled out in 4.4.4, is being pushed out over the air in the form of a 592MB update package.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha — or S5 Prime, if you will — has shown up in several leaked images, giving us a better look at what could be a mid-generation refresh of the flagship. The Galaxy Alpha, as it's called in the latest leak, looks like a Galaxy S5 but with less-rounded edges (reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 3), small bezels and purportedly has a metal chassis rather than plastic.
