Some new Android apps are now available for Chrome OS and Chromebook users from the Chrome Web Store. Yo, the limited but still inexplicably popular messaging app, is among those on that list, along with the SlideShare presentation app and the Tapatalk forum discussion app (with which our forums are compatible).
It's 3 p.m. ... Do you know what your kids are playing?
This little Clash of Clans excursion we've been taking started because of one thing: My daughter has grown beyond my control. I gave her the Nexus 7 (2013) to take for a spin, and she, unsurprisingly, ran with it. She has more games and apps and lord knows what on there than I ever imagined. She's not browsing the Web. She's listening to...

Steve Jobs said the best stylus is a finger. Samsung disagrees, and so do these apps
One of my favorite features of the Galaxy Note 4 (and one of the coolest things to happen to smartphones ever) is the S Pen. It's not a stylus. Instead think of it as a smart, pressure sensitive accessory that's paired with hardware and software on the Note 4 to make for a really good input device.

Google Play Music scored an update today, but don't get too excited, as it's a relatively minor one. Most of what's new are slight design tweaks that bring it up to speed with Material Design and away from its previous look.
Hot off her Super Bowl XLIX halftime show performance, singer-songwriter-ascendent-pop-queen Katy Perry is poised to get her very own mobile game. The as-of-yet untitled game is being developed by Glu Mobile, the same company that inflicted Kim Kardashian: Hollywood on the world.

Great apps are easy to find — if you know how to look
Google Play has more than 1.43 million apps in its app section, and while bigger numbers are great for bragging rights, finding the apps you actually want in that haystack can get a little daunting. On one hand, it's a good problem to have plenty of apps for your Android. On the other hand, sometimes too much of a good thing can be,...

A small, but growing, stable of apps support authentication from Samsung's Finger Scanners
We've already gone in depth on how to set up the Finger Scanner on your Galaxy Note 4, but what most people don't realize is that your fingerprint can be used for more than just unlocking your phone. Once your phone is set up to recognize your fingers, any third-party app that is properly designed to...

Let's talk about the weather
Weather's kind of important, especially around this time of year when you can walk outside and either find it 80 degrees or 20. What can I say, Texas winters are a little random. Point is, the weather's kinda important, and it's something that you have quite a few options when using. Beyond the plethora of apps available for weather, there are also plugins in many...
