Android 5.1 is now hitting the second generation Moto X Pure Edition, bringing better notification control, device protection, and other bug fixes.
Motorola first released the Android 5.1 update for the Pure Edition of its second generation Moto X in Brazil, but it now looks like the company is now ready to roll it out to more users. Included in this update is a number of bug fixes, along with some feature additions.
Some of the new features Motorola includes are 'chop twice' to start the flashlight, device protection to keep your data safe, and improved controls over your notifications. Additionally, Motorola has squashed a number of bugs, and enhanced the overall performance.
